U just saved my console I can’t thank you enough for it, I’ve made a lot of memories with my console and I’m so happy that it started working again so that I can make even more memories, I thank you from the bottom of my heart
It’s super easy to open it and clean it. I did it for my first time, it was quick, easy, fun and it runs like new again (didn’t have a problem with it I just wanted to clean it I had it for years) it does run cool now I don’t feel heat coming out of it like I used to. I also cleaned my controller which was way worse than I thought it’d be, full of hair/fur and dirt that was stuck to everything and something else sticking to the board not sure what it was, and fixed the major stick drift by cleaning it so it’s all like new again. Next thing I wanna do is put new thermal paste on so it’s dead silent like when it was new, it’s not loud but I can hear it and I used to be unable to hear it it was so quiet
the reason why most people don't work is that they use a hot hair dryer instead of the cold the hot can cause burns or even overheat in the future so Im gonna buy a cold hair dryer to see if it works
Defiantly has to be cold air which most hair dryers has that function but keep with it as it will work blowing the dust away & cooling components. Good luck 👍🏻
tbh, I took my Xbox apart and can't fix it back but the bad thing it it's a Xbox one Microsoft doesn't have Xbox one equipments to fix your problem BC Xbox one's are so old.
If u have an Xbox one and u go to to a repair shop they wont do anything because Microsoft doesn't have Xbox one equipments so u can't fix ur Xbox one. So I'm gonna buy a pc because buying another Xbox isn't worth it BC there's Xbox live and it will waist every bit of ur money so if u buy a pc it will be expensive but it will be the better choice as everything is for free.

Try resetting the console to "remove all games and apps" then it would format hdd and it may work. Initially try installing smaller games Like 4gb size games for testing some days.

I know but have you tried taking one apart without breaking bits!! It’s not that easy plus they have numerous different sizes of those tiny torque screws.

All I did was blew into the top then turned it upside down tapped on it and lots of dust came out did that about 5 times and then plugged it back in and it turned on I don't have a hair dryer so had to think outside the box but still works so try it

Depends if you had something like a sky box or something producing heat on top of the Xbox, sounds like the sensor for the thermostat has gone so the Xbox thinks it’s hot all the time 😲

It’s super easy to open it and clean it. After the warranty is up I’d take it apart and give it a proper cleaning with some compressed air check ifixit for proper dissembly guide.
