to save time when un plugging electrcal devices instead of waiting for a minuite or two you can just turn the power button on while its unplugged this helps dissipate any energy that remains in the system
Note: if the safe mode didn’t pop up for you I have the solution, you might have played with different screens that your Xbox changed the resolution to 1440p. Go to another good screen that support 1440p or 4K and change the resolution to 1080p or 720p. Also enabling CEC is very important to let your Xbox change the resolution automatically depending on the screen resolution. Hope that helps you.

Whenever I come across this problem it means the Xbox refresh rate Hz is set too high under Xbox display settings. What you have to do is take your Xbox to a really good display tv that supports 120hz display and adjust the Hz display on xbox to 60Hz and not on 120hz. Save these settings on Xbox and now take your Xbox to your tv you wish to use and it should work. I understand if you only have one tv, you’re still stuck, but this is my work around.

Anyone got a fix for this yet, mine is the same won't boot into safe mode tried it all.. Only recommendation I got was to do a data base reloader on the system but how?
@@Daniel-gh7sq no fix still. I might just take it somewhere for them to diagnose 🤷🏼♀️
Yay! Thanks man! The last method worked!
Great to hear!
one day i pressed 'restart console' through the power menu. once it powered down, it would never work the same again. upon turning on, the xbox would make the power chime, and light on, but would never show a display, and then power off after 30 seconds. This happens every time now, and consistently shuts off without display after 30 seconds. i took the xbox to a repair store, of which they couldnt find the problem. any guesses anyone?
no idea sorry
I do this but the troubleshoot menu does not come up for me. Any ideas?
try resetting the TV as well
Did not work. I followed the video step by step and it went to low resolution upon start up but it did not fully start up. It just sat on the XBOX screen for about 5 minutes and then went to a black screen for I don't even know how long
try resetting the tv as well
I'm late to this but my problem is on the xbox one s I've tried it on other tvs and stuff didn't work and sometimes after I haven't been on it for a while it turns on but in low resolution I've hard restart and all that but I Carry on it works fine until I try putting it in 720 or 1080 just won't work I've tried another cable with with the other cable it dosnt even show sighs of life or nothing it's not that it dosnt let me use then modes it's just won't work in them

is it a digital or a model with a disk drive, and are you unplugging from the wall and plug as described
what if it doesn’t cut on to the tv at all but it powers up ????
no sure what you mean there sorry
This didn’t work at first BUT I seen someone say to unplug every chord plus the tv power chord from the tv, wait 10 minutes then do what you stated in the video, IT WORKED🎉
BRO TYSM !! I recently bought my little brother a new gaming monitor and it wouldnt work. 100% subbed to you

@@mor4665 thanks for the advice will report back Tomorrow
Everytime I go to reset it, after the second beep the Xbox turns off
It worked for mine thanks so much first video I watched that it actually worked
No problem 👍
Worked for me cheers mate

Does it change the refresh rate??
yes it resets it to the default
It doesn't delete any data?
if it is a series s digital it will not delete data unless you do it wrong
This doesnt work for me the second noise switches the Xbox off
is it a series s digital?
Just had it happen when I hold both buttons it boots and than shuts off automatically
hmm not sure why that would be, try it again after watching the video again
I was about to go buy a new tv and it finiallt worked , its a pain
What about 120fps bc the hdmi won’t connect to TV
cheap cable? or the tv doesn't support that frequency
I did this multiple times and it hasn’t worked the Xbox will double beep then turn off after a few seconds but nothing ever pops up on my tv and ik my hdmi works
try resetting the TV
My Xbox is doing the same thing I need an immediate fix cause I used it in another room now it isn't working in my room !!
So I keep doing this method and it haven’t worked I’m stuck on the screen of death
Try resetting your tv and console
thanks this helped me in a time in need 🎉
Glad it helped!
I only get a screen on my TV. It doesn’t work anymore on both of my monitors …
could be the resoultion or refresh isn't the default
Still beating my head into a wall. XBOX series S starting with black screen and unable to bootup into any kind of safemode, I've tried holding down both buttons about 30 times.
try turning the tv or monitor off completely at the wall for a while
@@mikesunboxing thank you, I'm surprised you replied. Miraculously, it's turning on again. It was 640p, which means the settings reset worked. I don't know why waiting all night after mashing those buttons did not work but waiting an hour today after doing the same did work.
@@ogkingonyx Glad you got it working 🙂
i got a pc like a year ago and i wanted to get on my Xbox to play a game bc my pc wasn't bad but also wasn't good so this video actually helped me alot
