I actually learned a lot from this I always wondered why the speeds on wifi and ethernet are so low in console but seeing what the soc is capable of and how it splits the lanes it actually all makes sense.
My console internet speed is just fine with ethernet. Absolutely terrible with wifi.
my console wifi works amazing, i have done port forwarding set up DNS and am also using 5ghz wifi and i get 330 mbits out of my 350

@@thesolidsnek8096 I get max 250Mbps on a 1Gbps down on my One S over ethernet, is it just because the SoC can't handle those kinda speeds? My old gaming laptop with a i7-8750H really didn't like the 1 Gig down too it only did half the speed reliably, sometimes it could do 3/4 of the speed but that's when the laptop was burning hot.

You should've tried populating all RAM slots. The AMD AeroBox GPU on Techpowerup is listed as having a 256bit memory bus, which would only work with 4 memory modules.
Did you try populating all "ram" slots and then running the GPU benchmarks? Since this was a SOC with ram meant to be mounted around i was curious if the slots on the unpopulated side were meant more for the GPU usage? Just a random thought.

you can 100% in theory run any OS on the architecture that supports an xbox, the issue is the xbox's board is locked in some capacity, not allowing you to write a new os to the bootloader along with physical protections on the board to prevent the loading of unsigned code from microsoft
I get the impression this was meant to be used in an AIO of some sort. That would explain the DP_IN connector, as some Lenovo AIO machines allow you to use them as a monitor for whatever reason. I guess when the computer becomes obsolete at least the screen will be of some use. You might look to see if there's a switch connector for a video source selector that would go along with it.
And if it were in an AIO it would explain why there's none of the traditional mounting mechanisms for a heatsink as it would likely use heatpipes to a rad somewhere else in the chassis, much like a laptop does.

I've personally ZIP-tied a cooler to my CPU. I won an AM4/Intel cooler, but I only had an AM2 platform due to financial issues at the time, so I removed the original cooling bracket, searched the basement for ZIP-ties, then attached the cooler that way. I've later removed it once I got a better PC (4th gen Core i5).

Out the the 3 most widely used and accredited dictionaries (Oxford, Collins and Cambridge) non of them have a definition or even a register for the word Closlier and closelyer. Meaning it might make sense in general conversation but is only a "slang" or "mumble" term.
