The range is still low and cost very high. I have previously owned Audi's and loved them, but to me their advantage with ICE cars no longer follows through to the EV.

if batteries will last 500k then the warranties should reflect this, but car makers tend to say because our cars are more reliable we are shortening the warranty

I enjoy your videos,about the q4 brilliant car,I was unsure about an electric car,but the q4 has been nearly faultless,the steelership is my problem,the range has not changed in 2.5 years,45.000 miles,would I own another,,absolutely,the entertainment system a bit clunky,yes ,but it’s not a problem,we use probably 1% of its products.,the 2nd generation could be a better car,but the hi gh speed chargers will still be 2 hrs away,I’m used to traveling,so got used to finding the chargers I need,and that’s the key know the good chargers,including for a Tesla,I’m rural so I have to think for myself,thanks for the video,

Totally agree what's been said. I bought one and gave it back to the dealership after 3 months. S line virtually had nothing in it just a plain car with absolutely no luxury at all. £50k was a total rip off. It's a joke.

Big advantage Audi Q4 e-tron has over Tesla model Y is no stuck on tablet in the middle of dash, and normal door handles that are easier to use.

I finally handed back my 2020 Audi 50 e tron quattro this week I cannot say I will miss it, the car has been so problematic since the first week I drove it away from the showroom, cannot speak for all Audi 50 e tron quattro owners but my car has been a lame dog, in the time I have owned it it has had two new wheel motors fitted thankfully under warranty each motor took seven weeks to arrive from Germany (which from my town is 900 miles away in Central Europe) and a week to fit them that in itself was annoying and a huge inconvenience as the dealership I purchased it from had two other Audi 50 e tron quattro sitting outside awaiting motor replacements , so no donor car for me to drive in the entire time it was off the road, I had to lease a car at my own expense. I won't mention the pathetic charging life on a full charge of 28 hrs I was lucky to get 150 miles and that's the truth that's just not acceptable. I have stayed away from Audi as my replacement I have lost faith in them entirely, before I handed my car back the drive went and the gearbox if you can call it that needed a complete reprogram from Audi this took 12 hours to install the download into the cars brain. Good luck to any prospective owners of this Q4. I live in Northern Europe.

I was considering the Q4 e-tron as it looked like decent value on my company lease scheme. However, it’s suddenly shot up on monthly cost by well over £100/month. So, now, it’s off my list unfortunately.

It comes back to ubiquity of super fast charging networks every 50 km and fast charging vehicles to match. Until that occurs, EV purchases are very brave acts. Fast charging networks will erase all range anxiety fears and you could probably comfortably run 50 kWh battery vehicles with 300 km range. For 75% of drivers, that would probably be adequate. Not everyone want to drive 1,000 km. Many would prefer to fly, train or bus that distance. Thus my point remains, that it all hinges on ubiquity of the fast charging networks. It's a bit like the rollout of the NBN. Once the underlying network infrastructure is built, it attracts the big operators on mass and more car companies will be convinced that the rollout of fast charging EV's is a worthwhile commercial endeavour, because they know that the users ( EV owners ) will be well supported by the charging networks. It then becomes a win win all around.

I nearly had one as a company car back in 2021, as it was the best priced EV of it’s size at that time (cheaper than a Skoda Enyaq on my company scheme!). Eventually cancelled as they were quoting 18 months for delivery! Not a bad car really, nice interior and rode well. Bit bland looking though.
I wouldn’t get one now - costs have gone up a lot and a Model Y RWD is the same price so no contest there really. It’s a bit dated now and there’s not really anything they can do to interest me in one again (well drop the price by 40% might work)!

Best wishes for a quick recovery! Amazing how old school, legacy, heavy bureaucratic car companies cannot keep up with streamlined Tesla like car companies. No way to give Elon Musk the proper credit for bringing the world into this new era of manufacturing! Shame that jealousy turns people to criticize him! Audi does some of the best interiors in the business these days, but I am not sure that justifies the price difference. Given the abysmal service I have received at the local VW/Audi dealers, I think I will stick with my Model 3.

Overrated car. It's just a tarted up ID.4 and if you don't spend 15-20K in options it has the standard equipment of a basic VW Up!
It's on our lease list, but nobody chose it because with some options (and Audi options are not only plenty but also expensive) it goes way above budget.

10-80% in 28 minutes is a very long time. 10 minutes for a 100KWh battery is a good time for now.

I'm an Audi fanboy. The Q4 is not worth it at all. The Q6 (aka Macan EV) is much better.
After my Audi's engine oil burning, I'm not sure I'll ever buy another Audi again. Quattro is now pointless, because EV AWD is superior.

The q4 etron is a LUXURY 90k electric suv which is compared to luxury electric suvs like the eqe and macan e. Some dumb Volvo is not compared to a high end brand Audi. Volvo is a brand compared to Kia or smth. Next time get ur comparisons right, dumbass Volvo. (I drive a 2022 matte black m5 comp and a 2024 cumulus blue cayenne s hybrid, don’t fuck with me)
