Hey I came across your video I do a lot of offshore fishing I have a boat this probably is going to be a long comment so I’m gonna apologize for that right now but there’s a lot of TH-camrs that don’t want to give information out or were there fishing which I don’t understand but your videos are probably the best informed on what types of bait to use in the rigs that you use in the area the tides what is the best time that’s really helpful for first time anglers that want to go out and have a good time absolutely love the video keep up the good work It’s always nice to have someone that’s willing to help someone else out like I said before I love the video keep up the good work
@@ZephyrFishing do like part 2’s to the same spots. Like how you did with piney narrows. Sorry if I sound annoying but I don’t like all these other Chesapeake bay fisherman. I think you’re the best one in this area.
I love your vids! You are giving great info about all the spots to fish. This is invaluable for new fishers! What is the best place in your travels to catch decent size white perch? How do you avoid getting bit by the lug/blood worms?
Thank you and appreciate you support! I'll say romancoke, matapeake, piney and kent narrows on clams. Beware snag city at the narrows. As for the worms I just pinch the head off really quick before it gets me lol. Too lazy to use a knife
Honestly I fry them. Most fillet so it depends on what you do. I fry so I get more meat so I can keep 6in and be fine.. fillet maybe bigger bc they have big rib cages you lose a lot of meat when you fillet. All preference tbh too
Hey man I went to matapeake pier today and it was way too crowded, any other spots nearby that are good that don’t get so crowded? And the fish did not hit all day
@@ZephyrFishing I enjoy your videos and looks like you know what you’re doing . Can I join you sometime? I’m hitting cape Charles next week but wanna shoot down to point lookout soon or maybe that bridge in OC
@@toddbartnicki1041 nice nice free parking and pier there. And kiptopeke and down the road if anything. Definitely go to rt 50 everything is running there rn. Ill be there this coming week or next. Catch me out there if you go
@Zephyr Fishing look around for the orange clam bags. Anglers should have them. Or Chesapeake outdoors right down the road. Put 2or 3 in the bag tie it to a rope or string throw it over and check when you see the line moving. Bring a dip net. You can put as many handlines out as you can. Now in that spot, the current is really strong. They love clams
Its a shame to see all of the litter there. I was just there last week and picked up everyone else's trash please if you come to my side of the bay please pay some respect.
Everything I used is linked in bio. Dont forget to turn on 4k HD

@@ZephyrFishing You should do a video fishing at the Conowingo dam there’s not a lot of good videos out there on how to fish that area
@@luisvillacres5996 I think someone mentioned that too. Will eventually work my way there
Great video
Thank you 💯
Hey man can you post more videos around this area? I love you fishing videos and have been watching them a lot.
I pretty much covered all of md unless you have spots you want me to fish

What month were you fishing and where did you find the information about the tides and the current and so on
Not sure it was during the summer though that's for sure

@@playerzunited1984 yup np, you as well
Thanks for sharing! When do you think the perch/spot fishing season will end?
Perch will be around in rivers when it's cold. Spot will be gone soon. Went yesterday theyre still here in number
What rig should I get for fishing this area? Plan on going there tomorrow at some point.
High low or Chesapeake sabiki. Bring extra you will snag if you don't know where to throw
@@ZephyrFishingthanks I’ll let you know how it makes out
@@fade_kp4540 thanks sounds good. Get lugworms theyre cheaper than bloodworm
@@ZephyrFishingended up snagging a white perch and catching another perch. Then I hooked up on a ray and fought it for 20 minutes
@@fade_kp4540 nice good to see the perch out in the bay now 👍
Great content as always! I'll try Kent Narrows next. I tried Jonas Green and kept getting snagged. Nice spot though.
You'll snag like crazy at kent narrows. Just heads up. Where are you fishing at jonas? Only from the rocks you snag
Hey bro I was wondering if there’d are any rocks there so I don’t get my weights stuck
Yes lot of snags bring a lot of tackle

Why do you keep these tiny fish? Specifically the spot??
I like the smaller to med size ones to deep fry. They taste good dipped in fish sauce with rice

Since you came to fav spot for bass!! i challenge u a bass off at Kent narrows
😂 I hate fishing kent narrows
what kind of bait are you using?
Lugworms 🤙
The razor clams are the best bait for blue crabs.
I bet, but it's too easy for them to steal no?
