Vortech Supercharger Foxbody Mustang on the Streets!

- I go for a ride in a 600 HP 1991 Foxbody Mustang GT with a built 347 Stroker V8 engine and a Vortech V-1 Supercharger. The car is capable and hooked up for nitrous (150 shot) but none was used on this ride. The car makes 700 HP with the nitrous. The car is street legal and runs street slicks on the street. The car runs open headers.
The car runs 10 second quarter miles with a 5 speed manual transmission. Obviously, this was recorded in Mexico on a closed course.

Don't listen to the wannabe mechanics. First off your car sounds fantastic. Second a built 347 stroker running a vortec supercharger easily pulls 600 horses, a stock 347 stroker has between 415 to 440 out of the box and if you do some upgrading and a supercharger please tell me how this isn't 600 hp. I'm dumbfounded when people hate on a video that's simply showing there car that there proud of. Nobody is making you watch the video so why hate. Your car pulls more yeah ok your 95 Honda pulls more. Smh sad

This brings back memories of when I used to terrorize people with my 455 80 Trans Am, which was actually my daily driver for some time. I loved eating 5.0L Mustangs with it and really felt sorry for a few. Glad I never met up with yours!

@T Web It was far from junk, even being in need of restoration and having a dented quarter panel. I got almost all the money I put into it back out when I sold it. It was also one of the most reliable cars I ever owned.
Now if you want to talk about 80s GM cars with their faulty electronics I'll back you up all day.

These cars are feared on the street. People know these cars can whoop ass and always think twice about racing Fox body’s. They also have a distinct sound like no other

I got an 88 Mustang LX, DSS 331 Stroked, Paxton Novi 2000, Top/Bottom end all rebuilt....blah..blah..blah...93 Octane I'm pushing 536 HP to the RW and 468 Tq. Pulls like a freight train from about 3.5 - 5k
you must never have ridden on a freight train if you think 536 pulls like one
Someday I want to build a fox body with a 410 Windsor with twin turbo that’s programmable so I can choose my hp because it will be street legal with the turbos set right it’ll put out a maximum hp of 3000 on the street it’ll be 1440hp it’ll be one mean fox man that 347 sounds good the 347 is one mean engine and that thing sounds good what exhaust are you running

Everytime you mustang drivers just get on it then let off right away. You guys are attracted to the sound of that little 302. I had a supercharged LX and beat the shit out of it to the max. Ye he is making at least 600 horse... prolly more. He's short shifting and he's doing it rlly slowly at only half throttle or so. Not in the environment it was tuned for so if he pushed it harder he might start spinning. For once a mustang isn't trying to kill all the bystanders, and yall hate on that too? I bet this car finishes a 1/4 mile in under ten seconds, low 9 second maybe...

Sounds like a low compression stock 302 with a mild cam. No way in hell its 600hp. Maybe 350-375 to the wheels. Idgaf who says what. 600hp pulls twice that hard

Well makes our fox look like crap, lol JK it's a stock engine fox with flomaster exhaust we always get good looks from people XD plus it actually sounds quite awesome, my dad recently taught me how to do an oil chance with it which I posted

Typical mustang, makes a whole lot of noise, but goes nowhere. Sad part is that with a blower? Old school sbc with heads and cam will crush that thing. He rows through 2 gears and barely gains any ground on the suv in front of him, just SMH. Then the black car starts F'in with him and he can't even catch up. If that wasn't bad enough, the red light pull was nothing but noise and looked to be going 25mph at best in 1st, probably going to say tires were 10 year old pep boys bald eagles special. Only way that car is hitting 10.99 even is with a 200 shot

Why is it cold idling at 500 rpm? No one would set their idle that low cammed on purpose.looks very suspect and someone said runs 10.7’s if u add three seconds to it maybe. Not to mention dead hooked on those skinny tires on the back with a 4 lug.
All that hardware and that is the most unimpressive runner I’ve seen of all the hot rod street car videos on youtube.

Sounds like a really stupid question I already know, but is that really a supercharger, iv never done any work on a 302 but researching superchargers for my buddy and that looks dam near like a pro charger
Nice car but its not making power not trying to bash you but that not 600hp and those open headers make it seem even slower because it seems as if its just making alot of noise
The factory 5.0 block will split with anything over 550hp.
1990notch I got a 306 single speed daddy turbo dynoed at 525 to wheels and she is holding up fine second season on motor

I believe it makes 600. I have a 93 GT with a V2 3.33 pulley and 7.5 crank makes 340 wheel through stock cam and E7's 11PSI and a ton of blow by. What pulley size is on the blower and crank? How much boost and what heads are you running?
Do you have a Chevy engine? It seems like something is holding you back.
