Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!
We use to fish the Panacea to St Mark's area of the Big Bend. My favorite tactic was drifting with the wind or current over the flats. We had two rods set up. One with a popping float and curl tail grub. Our favorite was a white body with pink or red tail. The second rod usually had just the jig with the same curl tail. When drifting over 4 ft or less we used the popping float and jig. When we drifted over a "ditch" we bottom bounced the lure without a float for sea bass and flounder. Sometimes we found white or silver trout. We lost lots of tails. At first I thought it was smaller trout but mostly I believe it was puffer fish. Especially when chunks were bit out of the jig body.
Thanks for your videos. Makes me home sick.
Thanks! Sounds exactly what I used to do when I fished out of st marks and aucilla! I lived in Tallahassee from 1995-2018 and fished that area a lot! Some incredible fishing over there! I am tempted to trailer the boat over there sometime! Thanks for watching!
