Good Works Tractors is happy to be sponsored by Rim Guard Solutions! This is perhaps the most well-known ballast brand on the market today. Rim Guard goes right inside your tires, so it's out of the way, it doesn't freeze, and doesn't corrode. It's made from natural materials, so it's safe around livestock and pets if it spills out. Rim Guard liquid ballast adds more weight to the back side of your tractor improving stability, loader performance, and power to the ground. You guys missed one inexpensive option, auxillary lights on r.o.p.s.. I can't be the only one that works after dark or try unloading your pickup at night, the bucket or forks are always blocking hood mounted headlights. Can't wait for next video. Looks like a nicely designed tractor. Good luck on your new venture

    I am seriously impressed!
The included features are amazing on this tractor. It's clear that this was designed from the ground up with the operator in mind.
Brands like this deserve every ounce of success that comes their way. Well done!

I have always said that competition makes everyone better. The key to this and all the new brands that have come out in the last 2 to 5 years will be a reliable dealer network and parts availability. Like others, I too wonder about their name and any relationship to Summit hydraulics.

Competition is good. And there can be a great advantage to being late to the ball . . . you have the opportunity to see the best and the worst of what is already on the market and strive to take the best and improve upon it. And, Summit, it looks like Summit you've done a great job utilizing that strategy! Very exciting to see such a great, new compact tractor with so many great, standard features! Way to go. Excited to see more about the TX25 and your future models.

For me, needed features and price were the main items when I bought my Kioti. You guys beat the features on my CK for sure. Looks like a lot of thought went into this new tractor. I do all my own repairs, so dealer proximity was not a concern. But it probably would be for most and for sure parts. If pricing is competitive you'll have a winner. Good luck. Really like the color.

I love to see the competition. Looking forward to checking you all at Summit out. I bought a 2021 Deere 125r in Jan. I think I have spent around $7000 just to get it to be able to work around my house. It’s been a disappointment from upgrading it standpoint. Hopefully you guys at Summit get it right. We want Tractors that work, don’t over heat hydraulics, and can lift a lot of weight if needed. I liked the video. I’ll be checking y’all out.

As many/most have said, dealer network and parts availability are the current shop stopper. I like most everything I saw and would pay above RK pricing. The biggest negative for me is the one brake as opposed to split brakes. I too am a skilled wrench, but no desire to do major repairs, back to the service question!

Hope y’all do well, it’s a very thought out tractor and if I needed one, I’d be looking at Summit! The only concern for me, would be the seat as it appears to fit all the tall people and I’m quite short, is there an alternative seat for us short folks? Also I do like a mid mount mower as I’m a bit on the older side to pull one out, so the drive over feature of the 1025R makes it nice to change blades, etc. Are the gentleman thinking of a flail mower or bush hog and then a different mower for finish work? I think the other thing would be wheel spacers as that topic wasn’t discussed, will the tractor need those as well? One more thing due to my height limitations to deal with the ROPS, how easy is it for a short person to fold down? Lots of questions for sure, but I love the color!

  • @stephenoverstreet9898
    @stephenoverstreet9898 ปีที่แล้ว +6

Looks like a good value proposition, if the price is competitive. Of course, the elephant in the room (at least for me) is the dealer network. Being close to a reputable dealer/service/parts supplier is as important as the tractor itself. If that’s not there, then it would be really hard for me to invest. That being said I really hope these guys can give the big companies a good run for the money!

  • @bladewiper

Interesting video because it reminds me of the Ingersoll Tractor from the early 60's. The Ingersoll Tractor was founded when Jack Ingersoll bought the small AG division from Case Outdoor Power Equipment Division in 1983. The division traced its roots back to Colt garden tractors in the early 1960s. The business continued to produce garden tractors in Winneconne, Wisconsin using the hydraulic drive systems pioneered by Colt. Then purchased by Eastman Industries in 2005, and production was moved to Portland, Maine in 2006. The manufacturing of tractors continued through to January 2016 when Eastman moved from its location.

Nice to see more entrants to the market, but staying power (and convincing the consumer of that) is the name of the game. Far too many compact/sub-compact brands have come and gone, with arguably much larger corporate backings (Cabela's anyone?). Wish them the best, but I'm not holding my breath to see them a town over anytime soon. What could differentiate them is potential service partnerships with other nationwide tractor/equipment shops (or independents).

Rebranded Solis H24 - they added a better seat, a 3rd function valve, a self leveling system, a toolbox, rim guard, side view mirrors, and painted it green. Everything else is pretty much identical. From what I gather online they’re looking to put them in larger merchants - already partnered with Atwood’s (maybe Tractor Supply in the future). If you want one now I’d find your nearest Solis dealer cause that’s likely who you’ll be going to for parts/service anyways. Retail price on Solis is about 17250-18000 range - not sure what Summit is asking. Good tractor regardless of the color, ITL did a fine job. But this isn’t anything incredibly unique or specially designed.

I'm all for made in America anything! Tractors especially new company's can be a little touchy for parts if in the future the brand doesn't work and goes away it could be next to impossible to find parts but hey I wish them all the luck in the world! Great video!

In the research phase of buying my first tractor. Thought I had it all figured out and then I find THIS. Time to reconsider and do more looking and thinking. Thanks for sharing!!

5 min of googling and I just found out I can buy this from the Family Farm & Home store in my home town, and there is an authorized service shop in my home town as well. They don't have to have a traditional "dealership" near you. Looks like they've figured out how to distribute through retailers that already exist for other farm and tractor stuff. And you can get it serviced by local service shops that already exist for service anyway. It's seeming like a win-win. Only $1000 more than the 1025r I was considering, but on a par with the MUCH more costly 2025 and comes STANDARD with literally thousands of dollars of features I was prepared to pay extra for. What?!? This changes everything. I'm suspicious of things that seem too good to be true. But . . . they've got my attention at least.

I followed the breadcrumbs through the marketing web and; where's the price? That is a main feature to display with horse power and all the rest. Even some price magnitude indication is important to reveal if it's $5,000 or $50,000. No posted price leads most buyers to assume it's too high and they just ignore the product.

Finally, a tractor company that has all the bells and whistles that would cost thousands of dollars of add-ons from other tractor manufacturers already included. I would def give this tractor a hard look before making any further decisions when I decide to purchase a new one.

Wow- these gents are not fooling around - all included, everything you would normally pay more for. I may have missed it but what is the Rear PTO HP? Is there a mid PTO? How many ranges? I am shocked that weighs 3400 lbs - That is alot for a tractor that size which offers great stability - the drive train must be all cast iron Courtney? Where is it built? Sorry for all the Q's Courtney LOL! But enquiring minds need to know. Congrats - you must be super excited!!

Interesting, when I was looking for my tractor I was looking at subC models for the smaller size but the was a 25 hp New Holland at a dealer with gear trans, which I prefer, in the bigger frame than a subC that was very interesting. I'm guessing that this is an existing frame and running gear with the special enhancements that summit wants included, like the extra hydraulics, etc. I'm also guessing that it's 4.5-5 foot wide. I like the extra features they are including and it looks like a nice unit, but no gear trans. Wish my subC had a gear trans. Interested in hearing the price.
