"And it looks 10 times better under the hood". Compared to the other BPV that was hidden below the plastic cover? Lol just thought that was funny. This BPV works great though. I've had one on my 11 sti. Very nice product to say the least.

Hey great video!.. couple of questions.. do you need to tune the car after the BPV is installed? Also do you have to have the fuel pump internals? Just asking because I heard that our cars are very fragile lol

I currently have the Cobb XLE BPV in full recirculation mode, meaning all of the vented air is returned to the system like factory. For that reason there is no tuning required and you do not need an upgraded fuel pump. If you chose to make it a hybrid by removing the backing plate or go full VTA I would recommend contacting the knowledgeable guys at Cobbtuning.com for more info on the necessary supporting mods to operate safley.

How do you set it to full recirculation mode, and what are gthe benefits of this product?

Thank you, I'm editing my how to for the Autotech fuel pump internals and a walk thru for the new Cobb V3 accessport as we speak.

@@paulbarron362 i believe its because our cars are pretty sensitive to more air flow and it throws a CEL for running too lean, before you do any major air flow mods it is advised to get High Pressure Fuel Pump internals (HPFP) as the stock internals get maxed out easily, there are some intakes, like a stage 1 or 2 ;2.5-3 inch Short Ram Intake (SRI) that you wont have to worry that much about running too lean but its safer to get the internals before doing anything like that, a Cold Air Intake (CAI) will cause a problem if you dont have the HPFP internals as the intake temps are a bit colder and therefore denser = more air so the car would need more fuel
if you have any way of monitoring your fuel pressure, you should, to make sure your car isnt running super lean, if it is then get the HPFP internals and then next a cobb access port and get the off the shelf (OTS) tune that your car meets, the tune in the access port will say "Stage[#] [List of Modifications]" - different stage levels and different mods
if you cant really do anything about it atm, just be a little nicer to your car, dont hit max boost everytime you get on the freeway, just little things that might induce a metric fuck ton of air as too much air is really the main problem

Is it compatible with gen 1 ms3?
