I used to play Arma 3 with a friend back in 2020, but the servers we relied on to play together were shut down, and we weren't able to get private servers working correctly. Thanks to you, I was able to host a co-op session with my friend after 3 years, and it was so much fun!

One tip: when you host the server in the game you need to put in port: 2302-2306 i did this and i could play

How to do that all you do is put in numbers it doesn't show how you got there to the website I put in the website and it doesn't work

Its your router controls, I dont show the URL becuase it is literally the IP for my router. yours may be different all you need to do is type the ip of your modem to get to the modem settings.

depends on how the mission is set up, once you as the host click okay, the mission starts, so if they need to be there at the beginning of mission then yes, if not, then it should be fine

Hey mate. If you chose to manually port forward yourself, ensure you don't use UPnP hosting when you host the server

@@TacticalWestOfficial thanks for the reply mate! Yeah I manually port forwarded and tried hosting without UPnP but my friends still couldn't see it, I tried with UPnP too even if I was already port forwarding and still nothing.
I don't know what the problem could be honestly...

If you are port forwarding, don't check UPnP, however if you are not port forwarding then check UPnP, some routers are not UPnP compatible, so you may have to give port forwarding a go.

Too much hustle to play online with this game, I only play single, the game is too complex to edit detailed missions and takes too much time. Is not istant action, I'm glad I bought the game on sale very cheap.

Arma isn't like call of duty or battlefield etc. if you want something that's kind of inbetween I would recommend squad, hell let loose or perhaps insurgency sandstorm
