How we didn't get scammed by Thai Lion Air with their baggage fees

This video is super old and the rules might have changed. I suggest looking online and seeing the baggage rules . Good luck!
I also almost got caught out by this problem. Tried to go online to book extra luggage the day before our flight only to run into the same issues. Started reading online and watched your video.
I was not able to go to the airport the day before (nor did I want to waste my time doing that). Tried calling - no luck.
Went to the customer service desk when we got to the airport (approx. 3.5 hours before the departure time. They added the baggage at the normal price listed on the website. Was not expecting that as it was less than 4 hours until departure but I was so relieved.
So definitely go to the customer service desk before checking in and do it as early as possible (but I don't think you need to go the day before)
Thank you so much for replying! I just wanted to be sure! We were not too far from the airport so it wasn’t a a huge deal from what I recall. But I did remember reading some people went the day of and were overly charged. I will keep your comment for the next time we fly with Thai Lion Air. It’s actually a great budget airline and I will still highly recommend it. ♥️

What about the checked bag policy?
As far as? We didn’t have any issues with our Osprey Flapjill pack and the Osprey Pixel Port we used as carry ons and the Osprey Fairview 40L we checked. Hope that helps 😊
