another helpful tip from an outstanding vlogger! Thank You!
Thank you for the info Arsen. I will definitely bring my medications in their prescribed bottles. Have a blessed day!
Thank you so much, helpful advice 🎉
Thank you very much for sharing your information.👍🌺🌷🎈💐💕🌹🙏✈️
Thanks for this very important information
Thank you so much for this vlog
👍👍👍ADDITIONAL NOTE: not mention by the author is that the maximum power bank allowed in carry on luggage is 32000mnh in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport but not in Vietnam or Australia airports, any higher than that will be confiscated at the security check in gate. As in my case I had lost mine recently 😭😭😭
I got my zendure supertanker.
Its TSA approved so I can bring to most places
i had the same problem my brother 😭
Why do you need a gigachad power bank like that?
Good information but this video could be a lot shorter
What is powerbank?
This was a great video, informative and helpful! Thanks buddy.
Glad it was helpful!
Good information. Big Thanks
Thank you again for information 👍
Welcome
Can not wait to get there on my 60th birthday
Novemeber 2-26
Have a nice life and party (many parties 🤩)
Great educational video,keep it up.
thanks for good info
Love it❤❤❤
Thanks.. again..for..your.. information..nice..to..know..!!!!
Never had a problem with vitamins and the over the counter pills I bring for every ailment - headaches through tummy upset etc.
I think this is very common in many countries, not just thailand
Thanks for your information. Just a question, so where can I find a place in Phuket, if i need hookah? Is there any chance? Because I've been always carrying my hookah in my journey
Hi arsen thanks for the information, but is hookah not even allowed in checked in luggage?
I plan on retiring to Thailand in 3 years. I kept my house when I moved to the states 15 years ago. I have personal, used construction tools that easily fit in checked baggage and lithium batteries for power tools that I bring over when I come once a year. It is my understanding that as long as the value isn’t more than 20,000 baht, I don’t have to declare them. Is that correct?
Medications aren't generally known for creating problems at the airport. There are millions of people who travel around with chronic medication conditions. Medication is also cheaper to buy in Thailand.
That is valid to a lot of countries! In fact, always check the list to whichever country you're going if you are not familiar. Some places are super strict and will not only confiscate but also fine you if you have it with you (fruits/veggies into Australia, just to name one example).
This was great information as I have an upcoming trip to Thailand. I just wish it was condensed, with a lot less of the airport optics.
I watch these things at 1.75x speed. We are going in 8 weeks hence me coming across this video.
Hi Arsen, informative and useful stuff on your channel. I am planning my thailand trip soon. Wouldyou share any info about how to use drone camera in thailand ? I have a mavic 3. Thanks in advance.
Hi. thanks for the video and useful information. one note: fewer shots that actually show nothing, then the film will be shorter and easier to watch. Cheers 🙂
Ok. Good one
thank you
I brought 4 packs of benson cigarettes and a lots of medication 💊 including sleeping pills and antibiotics without any prescription . Did face not a single issue or questioning
Goof for you
you buy anti biotics online?
My make up kit was confiscared and i was stopped at the immigration as I was looking different without the make up😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Oh no! Why did they take your makeup? 😮
I have brought vitamins for 6 weeks on 13 trips. Ziplock bags and in original bottles. In fact I have never had my bags searched. Just passport control and enter country. If you take vitamins and minerals other than a multi or C, they are difficult or impossible to find
I’ve also have never had my bags searched. I’ve traveled to Thailand four times in the past year. Not only have I never had my bags searched, I’ve never seen anyone stopped at customs and searched.
maybe you didnt declare them
You don't need vitimins if you eat healthy, fresh food. But you've helped make billionaires and savvy marketing, telling you you need their products. There are Vit C rich fruits in Thailand.
Never take weed out of Thailand either! Bags can be checked at transit airports......
I almost forgot about a little weed I had..lol whew!!!
But I brought to thailand vapes. And left with vapes.. I had no problems, but my gf got stopped at security because she for got to put our Suncrest and a bottle of water... after I told her many times to make sure all liquids were put in checked baggage.
Shh
Thailand 🇹🇭 my new account is £29.000000
£66.000000 hours for my new holiday
Regina I have received any details from the China 🇨🇳 website
Daniel and chef crouton
Is whey protein and multivitamin is allowed and pre workout powder or meal replacement powder?
Gyms & pharmacy sells them !. Whey is BS !.
Actually the cashiers at duty free would need to key in the details of your passport, so you cannot buy more then allowed even if you go to another duty free shop (there are many duty free shops in the airport).....so be careful if they allow you to exceed......!!!
Your last point about power packs was wrong, you have to carry them in your hand luggage not your hold luggage and they have to be below a certain size
Agree👍👍👍. The maximum power bank allowed in carry on luggage is 32000mnh in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport but not in Vietnam or Australia airports, any higher than that will be confiscated at the security check in gate. As in my case I had lost mine recently
Please, What is equivalent of Imodium? In Thailand.
I have vitamins that I know they don't have in Thailand, I hope I can bring them because they are essential
As always SO MUCH APPRECIATED ur vlogging and updates Arsen… be safe. Btw, i was stopped by the conveyor personnel last time i was there bec I bought two small ones inside my backpack 😂, they just want to check tho and immediately i was ok. anyhow i missed Thailand see u nxt yr again. 🙏🏼
Thank you Mitch stay safe
Prescribed medications, can I sort my five medications in a zip lock bag for about 15 days plus the date for cruising starting from Thailand?
I want to know Songkaram festival date celebrate in April month in Bangkok and pattaya Pls confirm
Not sure if they check the power-banks in the airport in Thailand if you carry them on the plane but I got stopped in London last year after going through the X-ray machine because you are only allowed ones with a certain amount of power.
You have to take your laptop out of your bag at BKK. Security is the same in London and Bangkok
yes, max 32.000mAh - there are a lot of signs about that topic at the airport and information from the airline when you`ve booked a ticket.
if you're travelling in a group, it must be in personal bags as well as the limit is per person. Don't put multiple power banks in one carry-on bag.
Yes they do got called me in before boarding i had bought a new Samsung phone and got a free gift pack did not open it just put gift bag in cargo luggage they let me off as it was not charged and still in gift pack but i was warned power banks must be in carry on luggage.
@@alandaniel1082 There is a limit on how much power the battery pack can hold if you take it as carry on ( I don’t know why) as they checked mine when I went through security.
I have diazepam (valium) only 10 tablets from my doctor here in USA for flight anxiety. am i allowed to take this? i leave in the morning and just happend to find this video! now im stressed
Thanks for your video. At the 12 minute mark you suggested bringing small amounts of fresh fruit and you might not get caught. It would be wiser not to bring any fresh fruit at all. This way you don't run the chance of getting a fine. It is against the law and you are a guest in their country. Finally, and as you said, Thailand has an abundance of fresh fruit that is very reasonably priced. Keep making videos!
Should never bring any fresh fruit or live animals in. It doesn't matter if you get caught or not.
STFU. Fruit 🍑 in Thailand is overpriced especially in tourist area.
@@ning1745Nothing you can't quickly eat while waiting at customs... 😂
Drones are allowed in my experience. You need it as to register it with the NBTC when in Thailand. . You cannot register the drone with NBTC outside Thailand.. I would recommend registering it with the CAAT online before you come to save time and have something to show if any issue at the airport. I have brought drones into Thailand on several occasions though without any issue.
I have 249gm DJI Mini 2 drone. I was wondering if this could cause problem while travelling. One of the airlines check-in personnel said below 249gm is allowed as it's detected as a toy drone but they warned they can't guarantee customs checkup cases. Also one of my friends recently travelled to Thailand without any permit papers and carried and flew his drone at Thailand without trouble without any trouble at customs. Would you please let me know what are cases for my drone I really need CAAT and NBTC permission?
@@tkhandaker The pouches are called Lipobags
Is Kratom capsules illegal to bring to Thailand ? I cant seem to find it on the list
Do you have a direct flight? Transiting through Singapore or Malaysia with it can put you in prison for years. Just buy it in Thailand it is everywhere and cheap.
Can you bring vitamins like Magnesium and Zinc on the plane?
Ofcourse
can you take in the travel bag on board the Ventolin inhaler for Asthma
I'd say probably yes, but take the prescription printout with you.
If one needs certain medications, for example a blood thinner to avoid clots or an anti-histamine to stop sneezing or an asthma inhaler, how can one enter Thailand with no trouble?
No problem it's for your own use
Bring and medical documentation, or perhaps ask someone who knows BEFORE getting on the plane.
Dam, I am lucky, I have been to Thailand 17 times and have never ever been stopped or even looked going through customs!
Very helpful
Glad you think so!
@@LiveLoveThailand i am visiting Thailand on Friday. Can you tell me if there are amex accepted atm machines in the suvarnabhumi airport? Like citi bank?
Curious about the cigarettes.
In Australia which has about the same limits, they give you the option to keep the excess cigarettes/tobacco but you need to pay the tax on them.
Do they not do that in Thailand.
Also are you talking about declared or undeclared.
Again in Australia if you declare items and they are found to be in excess or not allowed you won't get a fine, but if you don't declare them you might get fined.
Yes bit too expensive
Serious question, i am a swordsman traveling there to join the sea games and am concerned about my "sports equipment" ( 52 inch sword ) any suggestions?
You cam decalre it
6:25 You can get many schedule 4 drugs over the counter in Thailand like Celebrex and Viagra.
Unless it's like a prescription I have to have everyday other than a mini hygiene kit in basic clothes why do people bring giant suitcases to places where clothes cost pennies? Literally, go overseas I just wind up buying some clothes to wear when I get there at least in Asia am I leave you drop them at the front desk long as they're clean and folded someone will take them
Decent Duty Free shops should not let you buy more then your allowance
Thank you I'll be there in 7 days❤
Welcome to Thailand
I have traveled to Thailand 4 or 5 times before and after the pandemic. I've never seen customs open. Just grabbed my checked bag and out I went.
I watch your videos, sorry to correct you as you say the word 'Troubles', it is trouble without the 's'...keep the videos coming
Appreciated stay safe
Good job
Nice information Sir. How about dry fruits like almonds, cashew nuts and chocolates ? Can i bring 1 kilo each ? Plz reply must Sir. Thank you 🙏🙏
You can no problem
@@LiveLoveThailand thank you Sir
When did all these little items became affective? I flew to Thailand from U.S. last November for 3 weeks and flew from Bkk to Chiang Mai and from Chiang Mai back to BKK with same items in my carry on. I had a bottle of Advils, my allergy pills (from counter), Vitamins I had phone battery bank that is 26800 Amh and a laptop power bank that is 37000 Amh (99.9Wh) all of that in my carry on and had no problem or did I just got lucky? They had me take them out they look at it and that was it, didn't say a word but thank you. Planning another trip coming up this November now I'm worried to bring the same items again, just wondering if I got lucky all those 3 times I was flying in and out of Suvarnabhumi Airport. Advil on the other hand is for head ache they should not give you any problems as some of us only take certain type of med for head ache...just saying 😁😁
the usual daily meds should be fine, but its a good idea to always check whenever visiting a country for the first time especially if you have prescription ones. For the battery, it's luck - but at the same time, laptops are usually disregarded in the computation. I keep my phone power bank in a separate tiny carry-on bag (the one that has my wallet, phone, & passport; the essentials in case of emergency evacuation) so it's never a problem.
I only found out about the eCigarette rule after I'd entered Thailand, had left Thailand for Laos, and was heading back to Thailand again with my eCigarette in my hand luggage. It was spotted going through the security check at Luang Prabang Airport, and I was told that I wasn't allowed to have it in either Laos or Thailand, and that they were going to confiscate it! I protested, saying that it was expensive and that I needed to keep it, and in the end they agreed to let me keep it, but they had to wrap it in bubble wrap and plenty of parcel tape first. I'd been happily using it in full view of everyone in both Bangkok and Luang Prabang, totally oblivious to the fact that what I was doing was illegal!
This is very valuable info. I do have one question, what about CBD oil?
Cbd?
@@LiveLoveThailandweed oil
Hi I would like to ask if canned goods are permitted? We will be in PH before flying to Thailand and thought of buying some of my favorite canned goods in the PH there before going back to Switzerland. And also how about Paracetamol for kids?
Yes no problem
Thank you @@LiveLoveThailand
Thanks for useful information Thanks again sir👍
Hello,
I have question. I am a vlogger and do landmarks photographies. I have a drone which is 249gm. Can you make a practical example what should I do for carrying them with me at Thailand?
Must apply for flight permits and registration
1. Transport (checked at the airport - take the battery out of the drone, and take all your batteries with you in the cabin - take the drone out of the luggage at security as you do with the laptop)
2. Flying (not checked at the airport) (I have a pilot license with me for small drones under 250 g)
I register in any country where I fly and receive a number I put on the drone.
Check the allowed flight areas on the drone supplier site and on the local site (in Greece, you also have allowed flight hours for some areas)
Hi, when someone need liquid for Lens? Have U any info
You can buy or bring it with you no problem
Plain sterile Saline available at most all 7-11s (as a wound wash!) I use it frequently for my contacts. Also OptiFree and others readily available.
my husband have meds from his doctor cant bring it does not good
He can no worries
All good commonsense stuff. However, I don't actually know anyone that's been stopped at customs in Bangkok. I've walked through maybe 100 times now and never been stopped or had my luggage xrayed. I suppose there is always a first time and better to play it safe!
Unopened prescription meds? Even if you declare it and have prescriptions ?
very good advice, khapun ka 🙂
Where is the electric good of sony showroom please
Can you take a long a power bank for phone charging with you to Thailand??
Depending on how many amp
Power banks are an issue when boarding to take off, not when landing and exiting the airport. It is a new rule in almost any airport because pilots are instructed not to let passengers board airplanes with big batteries. Airport security will check the size and call the airplane pilot, but you will not get approval as pilots do not care about your problems. They want 100% security and all batteries out of their planes.
I had 4 huge batteries (2 for laptops (bigger than 32k ) and 2 for phones around 30k). They were retained in the airport in Bucharest, and I got them back in one month when I returned (but the laws are very new, and the batteries may be destroyed as the detention period is not specified)
So I transport large batteries by truck and/or buy large batteries at the destination and keep them in friends' houses or rented boxes (where you should check about similar rules)
These super large batteries are perfect for laptops, cameras, and phones (even if shops have recently started adding power outlets similar to Starbucks)
The reason for this is numerous smoke and fire incidents in planes because a lot of people have no-name batteries with them - or even brand-name phones and tablets caught fire inside planes.
So keep only 20k batteries for planes and check the size allowed, as this may dynamically decrease in time.
I have chronic illness so the medication info was necessary 😬
YOU sometimes can find generic Thai made drugs here that is even cheaper. Get your prescription papers in order you can get for 90 days to bring here if you need for more than that let the doctor just double up the dose and call it 90 days anyway
@@bennynackholm866 my drugs are free lmao I take a thyroid medication and it's free with my insurance
@@catehernandez4640 they will give you money then🤣
Why is the video mostly taken at Departure area? Should be arrival, right?
Good observation! You can certainly get a job at airport security and let us in 🤣
What did you say between 2:11 and 3:11? I was too busy watching the pink top & black shorts. I’ve tried replaying it but the same thing happens 🤣🤣
Lol
Yes - do not show girls while we are in class here
i bring last year 400 cigarrettes now i know but i will do it again LOL
Of course you can bring your prescription meds🙄🙄🙄🙄 I brought mine to china in 2018, especially if you have a doctors note I'm not talking 50 bottles but 2 or 3 bottles is perfectly fine🫢‼️Especially if you’ll be there for 3 months
They probably sell the tobacco back to the duty free shop … smokin laundrying 😂
Hello, can you also discuss the things we can bring back home as souvenirs like foods, fruits and stuffs? What are the forbidden foods & things to bring-out Thailand? Thank you and I always enjoyed your videos'.
The rules are international. Your home country will have the same or similar rules. 200 cigarettes, 1 litre alcohol etc. No food or live products. On gifts, the UK and EU charge import duty and VAT from as little as €50.
I travel light
What About Diabetes
Best bet don't bring anything fresh it will be binned and if not declared a fine up to $10k
the usual commercially packed non-meat food should be fine
So no Tylenol Excedrin or Advil? I have to buy it here?
You can bring with you but why to if you can buy from a seven eleven here
The advice was about quantity - if you have a visa for 10 days and take a maximum of 2 per day = 20. If a small box has 50 you are ok - if you take 2 boxes with 10 you are OK, if you bring 10 boxes of 100 they will suspect that you sell them. You will stay at the airport for at least 2 hours to explain the quantity plus other ... fines, confiscate ...
Any good info about flights there arsen?
I plan on buy my plane tickets in august or Sept for my November trip.
Nonsense. I bring anything I want. Just smile. Sawaidee krup them. No problems. Play the game. LoL.
Do the table for sneezing in Thailand
Seem that Thailand Immigration law are very restricted, my concern are prescribed medication like hypertension table, allergy and prescription drugs from Singapore private clinic.
8:43 😂😂😆
😄
I cant survive with out my ecig, i fear i will start smoking again. How will they even notice a small e cig in our luggage?
hows the air quality right now?
sorry that’s not the topic now😎…
Putting the items in description would have been a good idea
then nobody would watch the video 😂😂 🤦♂️
No it wouldn’t have. Then people don’t watch the video and he doesn’t get paid for his hard work and can’t make a living. Grow up.
No more than 200 Cigarettes, Electronic Cigarettes and Hookah; Alcoholic Drinks no more than 1liters., Medications only as prescribed, Ovide fresh food or pack well in small quantities, Drones and filming gears (check the rules). Illegal items (guns, explosive items, drugs, weed, live animals)
Paracetamol most certainly can be brought into Thailand, for the most obvious of reasons.
Are we allow to bring 2-3 phone for gifts for family member in thailand.?
Mmm ok
I saw them retained at the airport if the total value is over the maximum allowed (please get the updated total value information) - retained means that you can take them when you fly back out of Thailand
So bring the invoices with you to prove the value - and be prepared to pay the import taxes if you insist and declare that the products will remain in Thailand.
Nothing wrong with bringing Advil (Ibuprofen) to Thailand. I do it all the time and I've read the rules and it says it's OK. Strangely they don't seem to sell Advil in Thailand. Although you can often buy antibiotics and even Xanax over the counter there.
They sell generic ibuprofen here not with the name Advil though
Strangely that you think that other country have to sell same brand as your country, there are many brands of ibuprofen in Thailand.
is it fine to carry pepper spray ?
I am coming with my meds it's put out by us govt hospital so they will do nothing to me it's from my drs
Luckily I never have been checked when enter Thailand, never ever bring forbidden items with you too Thailand, it’s not worth it, thanks for bring it back in mind😉, stay safe 🙏🏼🇹🇭
Exactly 👍
😊😊👌😍😍😍😍😍😍👍
This is common in many countries, not just Thailand. Any traveler going to a new country should check what is allowed to bring with. There is no problem with camera. Do not bring illegal drugs.
Is snus allowed?
How about headache tablets ?
