I have been lifting weights since i was 13. I have been doing this for 31 years. Now i do calisthenics training. I have been doing this for almost a year & i wish i trained like this instead of lifting weights. I train legs with weights but that's as far as the weights go.
I feel so much better in myself, i'm stronger my muscles have got bigger a much better life style.
Calisthenics has given me great core strength, flexibility, strength & more muscles.
    Thumbs up all round.

May the peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you, my brother. Do not listen to those with sound effects who recite the Book of God Almighty, and search for why. Just as it is not permissible to spread music, you are the sin of everyone who hears it. Please delete it. Just as it is not permissible to show the private parts, and the private parts are from the navel to the knee, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded us to cover the private parts, so my brother, cover your private parts, may God reward you with good. Also, backbiting is not permissible. They said, O Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, what is backbiting? The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Mention your brother in a way that he dislikes. So my brother, anything you mention or relate to or talk about with people or comments and that talk, you know that it is not from what he dislikes, then this is backbiting, and therefore it is better to ask for forgiveness and pardon from that person so that you will not be punished on the Day of Judgment. As you know, we do not guarantee ourselves, so what about a person who takes good deeds coldly and without effort? Therefore, rights must be returned to their owners. It is also not permissible to publish pictures of women or clips with pornographic content or things that anger Allah. It is also not permissible to publish things about the infidels or wear their shirts or imitate them, whether a football player or an actor, because this is glorifying them, boasting and showing allegiance to them. We as Muslims are only proud of our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, by following his Sunnah and spreading it, and the Companions and the Mothers of the Believers, may Allah be pleased with them all. It is also not permissible to shave the beard because the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade us from that. It is also not permissible to shave the beard because the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, never shaved it. It is also not permissible to photograph people without Their permission and publishing things about them without permission. You must ask for permission and then publish whatever you want. It is not permissible to expose the sinner, but rather you must cover him up and not expose him. This is done either by commenting or publishing something or posts in which the person in the video is a sinner. Therefore, by publishing or commenting or liking or anything that works to spread the video more, you contribute to exposing him more, and so on. Therefore, please delete any comment or like you made for a video that contains a sin, whatever it may be, because these are ongoing sins. Drawing, cartoon pictures, or games that contain living beings are not permissible because they are imitating the creation of God Almighty. It is not permissible to publish pictures or videos of women. You are guilty of everyone who looks at them. All of this or any sin. The person must cover himself up and not expose himself. He was going out to people with it or telling people that he did such and such because it is a public display of sin, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade that and said, may God bless him and grant him peace. All of my nation will be forgiven except those who publicly display it. We are all mistaken and negligent. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded us to forbid evil and enjoin good. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever among you sees If he disbelieves, let him change it with his hand. If he is unable to do so, then with his tongue. If he is unable to do so, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith. Therefore, you will say that you did not commit some of the sins that you mentioned, but my brother or sister, with the presence of many sins while I work on the phone, and may God guide us all, I cannot send a message to someone every time because there are different sins. Therefore, I have collected them in complete lines, and God is our helper. Therefore, I advise you to repent and start with yourself and return to God and cover yourself. By God, my brother, death comes suddenly. Likewise, every sin must be followed by repentance until we meet God. Delete these things that do not please God Almighty. May God’s prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you. Please delete the 1xbet logo because it is gambling, and therefore when you broadcast matches that contain forbidden things, they are promoted, and thus their spread among Muslims is inevitable. God forbid. It is also not permissible to curse a specific person, as the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Cursing a believer is like killing him. It is also not permissible to speak obscene language or watch TV series or films. May God bless and grant peace to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.

@@PB22559 Surely 'need' is predicated on what your desired physique is.
There will be a point where progressive overloading becomes problematic with strict body weight; however, most people would be quite satisfied with what you can achieve with even unweighted calisthenics alone [which is a lot!].
As for needing free weights. I would say doing the same calisthenic exercises with a good weighted vest will negate that need again for most people depending on what their end game is. I can't see myself ever going beyond the need for a 70lb vest on my pullups, for example.
The only exception is perhaps dumbbell lateral raises, but it wouldn't surprise me if HSPUs and Pseudo Planche Pushups adequately cover anterior and lateral delts.
Legs... well, I do think you need a weighted vest for that at the least. Hell, a heavy pack and a long ruck with ups and downs in elevation would develop legs and glutes wonderfully.

I’m 55 and don’t want to join a gym because I always stop going (and continue paying).
Really want to put a home routine together with variations of dips, pull ups, push ups, abdominal exercises etc.
    Thanks for the video !
And please - I’m open to suggestions !

I did the exact same thing myself, always stopped going, and kept paying until I finally canceled the membership. I'm not afraid to go to the gym and I'm not self-conscious about myself like many who go to the gym and quit, I just don't like going there and paying to work out and wasting the time to drive there. When i can just workout out at home with basic equipment.
