    Bike is sounding lovely and smooth on acceleration, you can tell its running spot on. Iv not uploaded any of your most recent tunes yet as weather has been crap, ill wait until you create an all countries version of this tune, looking forward to it. Congratulations on your 1 million views aswell mate.

      I have a US/CAN, All Countries and an Oz/NZ version of this latest map. Email me and we can discuss.

    Well done Dave! Met you on T-Rat … learning lots about tuning. Maybe one day I will have the courage to tune up my ‘22 Street Twin. Don’t like all the secretary around DNK tunes being all blanked out and no evidence! Like your style! Keep up the good work! Cheers!

      She blocks out the tune so people can't share it, or see what she's doing.
      You could make a living selling tunes, where all you do is change the ETV tables to change how the throttle reacts, and everyone using it would swear that it's a "new bike", without changing any fuel tables or doing any actual tuning.

    It's a locked area that over rides what you can mess with is my vote. At least it won't run as hot except for idle.)
    Mine runs super hot if putting around close the speed limits on side roads but it is fully stock still. I'm getting the first service done this week just to make sure all is good, then it's tinker time. I do all my own service usually but this is a replacement bike lol. I put 4000 miles on a Thruxton RS with a bad wiring harness so any more drama and I might end up with PTSD. Your Speed is super sweet now and thanks for sharing your journey!

      Yeah, we tried everything and it was the same thing 2 years ago with the Street Triple. You can tune all you like, except the area around idle...

    Love the speed twin vids. Love my 2020. Wish I had this bike 30 years ago. It just checks a lot of boxes for me, styling, sound, torque, etc. Not a touring bike but such is life. I need to upgrade the suspension 100%. So far just bolt- ons. Vance Hines exhaust, x pipe, spacer to pull slop out of throttle.
    I don't know much about tuning but I suspect you're correct that it's a protected spot.

      We had the identical issue on my 2020 Street Triple RS. Tuned everything just fine, but could not tune around idle. That was like 7 software updates ago, so if it is a bug, I would have expected it to be fixed by now. My only conclusion is that it is intentional. I wish that they would just admit it though, rather than dodge the question like they have. Just grey those areas out, so that we know that they are "off limits for emissions testing compliance" or something like that...
      The Power Commander software is going that route, making it harder, or not possible to tune in certain areas... Legislators are cracking down on this stuff. Those guys in the Diesel Tuning world have caused a lot of collateral damage with their EGR deletes and tuning and every kid out there "coal rolling"... It put a huge spotlight on aftermarket tuning solutions and its splashed over into the bike world, unfortunately...

    The map works fantastic! Its like a new bike. Got more power, more reaction more of everything. I say like the famous guitar player, more is more, (Yngwie Malmsteen)and I got it!

    Hey Dave, thanks again man, see my comment on your last video for a quick query if you have a sec. Commenting here just to support the channel :) * Agreed frustrating Re. the idle restrictions, kind've a big deal for me personally in hot Aussie traffic (+35degC) where it would be a heap kinder to the bike/top end getting that lean condition resolved. Also has to be asked, thoughts on re-enabling the O2's with this map given you'd still have *80% of the improvement across the range knowing what you now know about the locked idle area anyway?

    • @SquireSCA
      @SquireSCA  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I am toying with that idea now, actually... I have reached out to the TuneECU guys to see if I can get an answer on the idle area. If we can't sort that, then I was weighing my options on putting O2 and SAI back in... I wouldn't mind getting idle sorted, but I don't want to have it mess with the midrange or any areas where I did tuning...

    Thanks for the dyno update and first ride feedback. I have your 2019 Speed Twin US unrestricted X-Pipe Tweaks from 16Sep loaded on my 2019 with xpipe and stock exhaust.
    After your experience on the dyno, do you recommend any updates to the 2019 map?
    I also noticed on your map for your 2022, that your F Trim is at 0, whereas the 2019 map the F Trim is increased anywhere from 5 to 15 depending on throttle and rpm. Was there a reason to not increased the F Trim on your 2022? Should the F Trim on the 2019 map be updated?
    Thanks again!

      @SquireSCA  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 2019 is a different motor and tune, nothing we did here would directly apply to the Euro4 bike, unfortunately.

    Hi Dave,
    Will you share the new map or is it too specific to your bike (mine is stock for example) ?
    What do you think added the most HP (ETV tables, AFR tables, F Trim, ignition timings, hardware mods...) ?

    • @SquireSCA
      @SquireSCA  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A combination of the mods, tuning, ignition advance, getting rid of restrictions. Email me directly and we can discuss the mapping. :-)
      It is specific in the sense that its for a 2022 Speed Twin 1200, open mufflers, decat(x-pipe) or full headers, intake snorkel removed. if you have that setup, it will work fine, any variances will be minimal...

    Hey Dave! Was thinking about getting a DNK tune (2019 Speed Twin with V&H and X-pipe) but members of the Speed Twin forum told me to check out your videos. Was told the previous owner has a V&H ecu tune, but I get occasional stalling. Would you happen to have a tune for the 2019 Speed Twin?
    Thanks!

    • @SquireSCA
      @SquireSCA  ปีที่แล้ว

      When it stalls, where and how does it do it? At idle? Coming to a stop and you pull the clutch in?
      Do you know if your bike still has the stock O2 sensors plugged in?

    • @theguitarhero898
      @theguitarhero898 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SquireSCAYes it stalls at a stop coming back down to idle right when I blip the throttle. Only happens rarely though. And yes I have the stock O2 sensors, as far as I know.
      I just flashed with the tune you sent me and I’ll see how it runs next time I get out!

    No pssht out of that mustang no chance lol. You think X Pipe is worth more than 1hp or is just about sound? You save about 10 poundish? Think I want to leave engine stock and just tune to smooth it all out and run all the way to Redline.

    • @SquireSCA
      @SquireSCA  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He would eat me alive after probably 80 or 90mph... haha
      As for the power, I mean, I look at the bike and it's making well over 100hp at the wheel... All the mods add up, and the bike is now making at the wheel, more than Triumph rates it for at the crank. We have picked up a solid 10hp, which is a 12% increase in power... Fuel, ignition, ETV modification and X-Pipe with free flowing mufflers. I am still using stock mufflers, so I saved a bunch of money right there.
