This was so helpful. I am living with unresolved trauma that has been triggering me lately. I definitely can resonate to this. Hyper independent is a phrase I keyed in on. Thats what Ive been since I was a child. Definitely am grateful for this episode.

Your channel, "The Journey Within," truly lives up to its name-each episode feels like a profound journey inward. This latest podcast was outstanding, as always. I’d love to request an episode on the seven chakras.
i luckily had good parents but innocent enough that they cdnt prepare ourselves for this cruel world. they alws taught us abt our duties but our rights. we became prone to bullying most often because of our weak parents. we cdnt question the wrong treatments meted on us by the others coz we were being taught to give up not to confront. im still not able to surpass this weakness of mine. i cant fight back when somebody ill treats me. whenever I tried to give back o become aggressive. i cd hv been an assertive person but grew up as passive aggressive. i react more than to respond. I realized later how i cd hv responded. im a parent of toddler now and i dont want him to be like I was years ago. how to raise him in a manner that he shdnt turn up to be a ppl pleaser without mak8ng him arrogant?
Same here, i learnt quite late in my life to handle this world, after many bitter experiences. Brought up in an over protective environment, but that eventually helped me make a strong relation with God, figuring out my strengths and standing alone,
I believe one should choose his/her battles.. there is no need to fight everytime with everyone.. u were brought up by excellent parents n u will be an excellent parent urself...reacting to each n every person lands u up in so much trouble.. also as per karma, if u want to clear ur account just don't respond.. if someone is bad to u, u are paying fr ur bad karma but by getting even with the person, ur karmic account will b the same.. Rest I would say, we all have diff levels of patience so u are not weak may b someone has not triggered u to the point where u can actually get back to that person.. Hope this perspective helps u 😊
I’m glad it helped you. Thank you for your comment. You can help us further by sharing this video with your friends and family and following my social media pages on Instagram 😊🙏

What I have realised in my journey and understanding life and psychology that therapy is must..it should start in school..we never learn how mind works, how to respond to situations and thats why we suffer in Life..all of us are wounded some or the other way and we pass on this to our kids..we Must heal first..so we can help our next generation ❤❤❤
Absolutely! I 100% believe that and want to do something in that space. Glad you enjoyed it. To support us, pls share within your group. It will be a great help 🙏
Thank you for bringing this non physical and important part of the body (the emotions). I am 80s born and I can relate to most of the topics that have already happened or happened to me. 8 don't know how to get a solution but it was good to know that these are genuine problems. I hope to get a solution one day if I survive.
Glad you resonated with it. Pls seek for help, a therapist, coach, spiritual teacher and focus on self work. Listening to our podcast will also help in building perspective.

Thanku fr sharing it Shobha .. really helpful in every possible way ... 💐 🌹 🌸just a small advice if possible remove the starting music with some soft one
Not really. If you rely on mere willpower, chances of failure are way high than success. What helps is going to the root cause(various methods for that) and reset from there(multiple techniques). Pls study more on it and seek help/guidance if you need.
I m having social anxiety and my therapist has told me that only exposure can fade away my fear. But it’s not easy to face it. What other techniques can help me?
Start with exposing yourself to small social settings. Try opening up with a couple of people. Join some hobby class. Expose yourself to budget travel. Try to go on hikes. All this will help you break ice 😊
Though Havovi's views appear to be very logical superficially I see lot of loopholes in it. First of all she talks very negative of givers who feel happy in giving. She says givers give out of trauma. Not always . In Indian culture lot of people give for their country family and friends without any expectation. If they always expected back they will never get it back. It Takes lot of broad mindedness, compassion, selflessness to be a giver. Secondly she talks about disconnecting relationships even with parents. Well how do you decide if a relationship is toxic? Well a child which is Irresponsible, selfish and intolerant can always brand a parent as toxic and walk away. An irresponsible non giving partner can always brand a partner as toxic and disconnect. She said why can't children adopt parents? Really! Parents are not old clothes that can be changed. This type of opinions will make it easy for children whose ideologies does not match with their parents to break up relationships. This way of looking at life from a modern psychological perspective in the name of therapy is creating loneliness as epidemic in America and European countries now and its entering Indian young adults life also. Therapy may be good solution for general cause but not for relationships management I feel. Following Bhagavad Gita or general values like gratitude, compassion, forgiveness etc gives a quicker solution than these therapy sessions which cost 1000 to 2000 rupees per session and stretches to years long for simple problems. I am not against the therapist personally but against this modern psychological approach to our problems in life which does not bond relationships or as she said does not give any solutions. It rather confuses the people more.
Thankyou for putting this out!, It is so sad that people now a days support breaking up any relationship than to work on it. Whatever happend to sustain, repair, love and compassion!
