A man that's self aware is golden. Any person who is self aware and other aware is golden. Emotional intelligence is so key, not only in relationships but to function as an adult and its refreshing to see that these brothers are doing the work. 💕

I take on an evaluation of myself: where I'm at, where I'm going, how I'm feeling, and how I love, every day. A lot of the time it's throughout my day because, after all I've been through, I understand that life is fleeting and time is not a friend. So, I make sure that whatever I am engaged in has a sense of service. Even with the things that I do for myself are in service to others because my acts of self love keeps me balanced and level headed. The blessing is that I have a wife who has is a sanctuary of peace for me. She makes sense of my chaos, and I her...but, more often myself lol. She is my reason. I take inventory of myself because she needs me to be alright for her. I have never met a more selfless, loving person. I've prayed to have her. I've made vows to her that can never be broken. And I am all the better of a man for it💯

There is so much truth in what the gentleman he said when he talks about "electricity" and "water". In my experience some people you just can Not be around because of toxicity. Also, sometimes we gotta put ourselves in check too.

Yes you are correct I have a sister who lies to her self and it is so sad!! I pray for her!! Our mom just passed two months ago and this sister made her self believe she was the only child out of six kids that our mom loved and she honestly tried to have a service without the family. I am the oldest girl and regrettably I had to take over because she was beside herself and then she refuse to come to the celebration because things do not go her way. SMH! It was crazy!! And now she is going through and the rest of us are at peace!! I pray for her but she do not want to believe she has serious problems!
i love what Timmons said he takes inventory of himself. i have always believed that everyone needs to introspect with themselves and as black people we dont do that enough if at all. Its needed. that was sexy as hell when he said do I want to go to the party, nah... cuz. I ain’t feeling right...

I am a black man. Watching these kinds of conversations makes me sad because they are not talking about MEN RELATED ISSUES-actually they put themselves last. The title is about 'SELF-DEVELOPMENT!!!! Things like men's diet, investment, metal wellness, sexual health, investments ideas, travel and leasure e.t.c DO normally NOT GET DISCUSSED BY BLACK MEN among themselves. Every guy in the panel here technically said 'i am happy when everyone else (kids, wife etc) is happy. THIS IS WRONG!! You must develop yourself before giving anything to others.
