    ever since updating to iOS 15 I cannot update, download or open any non apple apps. I have tried force restarting and have watched countless of videos but nothing is working, what can you recommend?

    Do you have to wait until there's a new software update available, or can you do this after you have updated the new ios?

    There is a HUGE GAP at the end of this tutorial. You end up with a clean install of iOS 15 .... BUT NO DATA!!! I would strongly suggest you add a couple more steps at the end to show how to do the restore from your iCloud Backup. After iOS15 installed, I did a second wipe of my Content & Settings just like I had done at the start on iOS 14.8. There wasn't much. Then ... when you have a clean phone, start the process all over again and this time choose to recover from your iCloud Backup.

    Don’t do the clean install with a Qi base. The IPhone will heat up and the download can be paused because of the too high temperature.

    I usually do this every couple major updates, or if I have problems. I had done this earlier this year with a clean install of ios 14 after they had fixed many of the bugs, and started fresh. Today did the normal iOS 15 update and all seems to be well. I did the wipe and restore on the iPad, and it's back to normal on iPadOS 15.

      after you done all of this, how could you bring back all your apps and data?

    • @macinman
      @macinman 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@habo-alo It restored from an iCloud backup after the setup was finished. The data was saved as part of the backup, and the apps were redownloaded automatically per the data stored in iCloud.

      If you want to install apps and data one by one, just choose (don't transfer apps and data). If you have a lot of setup and important data such as social chat history apps, you should choose restore from iCloud backup.
