for me, the Legion go it's too big... and heavy not my jam. the steam deck LCD, which I own It's nice and the trackpads are great! but.. my hands hurts playing for a longer period. my hands weren't made for it.
the Rog Ally based on everything, it's for me. these are great machines! made for 3 different people

I own both ally and legion go haven’t had the legion go for that long tho but I found the ally much easier to use more user friendly but legion go feels nice with the big screen as well mostly because I started playing mw3 but if it’s other types of games I don’t see anything wrong with the ally but the controllers don’t feel as easy to play with like how u do with legion go at the end of the day it’s completely up to you tho I’m not that tech savvy so maybe that’s why I’m still having trouble learning with the legion go but either way I love both my devices

As a PC gamer even the Ally and Go hardware is dated. My 7 year mid-range laptop outperforms the Ally and Go.
no PC handheld is ideal to play current triple A titles.
For this reason I play triple A titles on my laptop desktop and pick Indy and older games to play on the go.
Majority of the time I run my OLED deck at 10-12 tdp. The deck outperforms both the Ally and Go at lower tdp.
What makes a good desktop is not the same as what makes a good handheld. This is the reason the Switch still out sells all PC handhelds put together.
PC is different from the console wars as many PC gamers like me have a handheld, laptops and desktops , all play the same games.
