This is part of my sales daily system. People get thrown off every now and then, yet they are willing to go through the conversation. My success rate to get new appointments increased by nearly 25%. Thanks a lot, Matt.
Thanks Matt! Honestly, I have watched a few videos where people talk about cold calling, but 1 out of 20 videos talk about the secret sauce of cold calls, and you are probably 1 out of 40 videos that really bring value to the audience...I am really impressed, and with you and a couple of other experienced people I have found, I feel more into learning and taking action in cold calling, not to sale but to offer a solution. Thanks again!
I have been using this killer opener and the biggest difference over my last opener is the pause. That alone staggers their reflex to bail. Glad this popped back up in my feed!
Hey Matt, I work for a landscaping company, were growing fast, I do the estimating for landscaping projects. This is my first summer, I've done ok on sales but I feel like I could do a lot better! This is my first sales position with any company, I'm knowledgeable with the whole landscaping process I worked the field for a couple years, but my sales experience severely lacks. Any tips or anything would be greatly appreciated!! Seriously! Please reach out! Thank you!!
How would you do a voicemail message for a recruiter in the engineering industry? My sales process is to cold call people and present an opportunity to them and see who is interested in moving forward.

This is a timeless piece.
I plead the FIFTH (tip). I am TERRIBLY at avoiding the - "hello, Darkness, my old friend" - 'Sound of Silence'. This - pause - works WONDERS!
I'm not sure why this video doesn't have more hits... its fantasic

My pleasure!! I’m glad you are here!
I love how you take us through the whole process. So simple yet rarely done right. Nerves or greed override our senses sometimes 😅
Thank you so very much!

Matt, what do you think about asking "can you hear me ok?" after the introduction instead of pausing

My sales process is to cold call people and present an opportunity to them and see who is interested in moving forward.
Verifying someone's identity at the beginning of a call, immediately puts them on the defensive and that's not where you want them.
