      Lol i could barely sell $26 per month subscriptions, but after 2 years i got $2.1m on sales for the year. Then our corporate changed a whole bunch of processes, doubled our pricing, which sent my sales to $1m annually. Then they made it even worse, so my numbers were declining. Think for a second, the industry stays exactly the same, but your company doubles price for no reason. At the end of my 4th year i just decided to become an entrepreneur. All the referral based relationships i had were slowly disintegrating. So as an entrepreneur, it'll be interesting to see how these things happen in the future.

Just tell him what he wants to hear and keep doing you. 4. Marketing trumps sales so always be building your online network. 5. Find products that people are buying. Agreed. Internal politics is something nobody warns you about. Treat your company like a chess board, just like your customers. Ultimately, to get things approved, turned around quickly, or even booked you will need to be friends with a lot of key people. Also, filter out the ones who suck so you don't waste your time with them.

    I’m in B to B sales and even though you’re mostly talking about direct to consumer sales most of that is still valid especially the follow up. So many lose out because they do not follow up.

      I might be mistaken but is B2B easier in prospect reach and overall than B2C?

    • @TheOriginalLugnuts
      @TheOriginalLugnuts ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rushiljain9423 it all depends, for what I do the market is small so the number of prospects is a fraction of what you have with B to C where the prospects are endless. Nothing is easy just different.

    SO TRUE!! Learn from the best until you become the best !!! It takes a entrepreneurial spirit as well to last and take up the challenges day in and day out!
    After working over 20 years in sales I have seen so many coming to sales that they are not making it just like Patrick says "they think is easy " specially in my field of high luxury men's /ladies clothing! It looks fun and easy but lots going on behind the scene! Love Patrick's 3 piece suits! 😎

    I like what you said at about 9:00, a real salesperson provides value to their customer and that's the reason they buy. A real salesperson stands behind their product and creates brand ambassadors out of their customers because the customers are getting much more out of their investment than what they thought they would get. Referrals!

    I was a project manager within a large sales team, after over a decade working my way up through the tech service area.
    I noticed that the best sales people had very similar close relationships with customers, as most of us field service staff did.
    Others didn't deserve to be there..
    My best moment was when I marched into the business managers office in disbelief at the problems I saw within sales
    once I finally got there. After I finished explaining the issues, he put his face in his hands & said please help me fix it.
    He removed my leash that very moment, I'll never forget the things I learned & did after that. He just had to give me authority to do them. I solved most of it, sitting at home in peace, thinking. I was so lucky to be the one with the answers.

    I took a B2C electronics sales position representing Samsung because I really needed a job through college. I didn’t think I’d be good at sales but I have never felt more exhilarated at work! Hitting a sales streak and crushing my targets felt so good and the bonus made it sweeter. I’m trying to get back into sales after 4 months in the legal field. I don’t even care what industry or method I’ve just got the sales bug now.

    That's exactly true. I was making good money in sales at the beginning. But instead of developing inside the company, I kept looking for more money, changing companies, and making promises I could not keep, and eventually, I was broke and burned out. Now I am in debt and only my real estate investment paid off. My salary is below my spendings and I am not sure if I can get back in sales again.
    This video motivates me though to get back to the top. Thank you, Patrick
