Pretty sure this is mono. I'm listening with my headphones and all of the notes are located smack dab in the center of my head. - I hate mono on headphones and usually refuse to listen to it. But this performance is clearly special, and so I don't have the heart to dismiss it.
There is no single CD version of this performance, and contrary to the person posting above me, that Melodiya Box doesn’t contain this performance either. It’s with a different orchestra (The Grand Symphony Orchestra of All-Union National Radio Service and Central Television Networks, whatever that is) It’s a shame because Maxim’s with the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra is a fine performance - the first one I ever heard of this amazing symphony.

I’m thrilled to have purchased this LP used but in very good condition for a mere $3 US. My first focused listen to this symphony was this LP.

Thanks. This is the one where in the same movement he also plagiarises his own theme in one his chamber works - a cello trio I believe.
