Great video! I should really farm more winterberries so all my mains have ascended aquabreathers. Just a quick note, however: brazier is pronounced bra·zier. Think: "Bray", the sound a donkey or mule makes, + "-Zure", like the word sure, but with a z sound.). A brassiere is the long form of the word of the women's undergarment: bra. =P I really like your video on converting Charged Quartz to gold, and I'll be doing that from now on. Keep up the good work, and I'll be looking out for more of your videos!
I come from a country where English is not the first language of many and I've heard this error many times, and it is quite humorous. Thank you also for receiving this in a positive manner. XD
One thing that makes biterfrost great, you can loot the chest on as many characters as you want between meta events as long as they can survive the mobs. I usually get 2-3 circles of the chests pretty easily between metas.
This map has been one of my favourites for the longest time. It's so chill, fast, repeatable and great to just quickly do whenever you feel like it, no organising needed, got great gold per hour and the easiest way to get ascended back piece and ring
While I don't need the currency anymore I do like this (and your) guides. They are very clear and you explain about everything that is needed to be said. Couldn't have done it any better, 5/5 would recommend xD
Yes, I think this is a forgotten "meta", for solo players there is nothing better than this, it do get borring after doing this a couple of days in a row, but it is really profitable, can outfit all your characters with ascended items really fast
Thank you for the video. How do you facilitate such high uptime on quickness for gathering on Scrapper? Full Diviner's gear? I also saw you gathering on a thief with very high quickness uptime, can you share your build? I have very few hours played on thief. >< Thanks again!
Oh for sure! I'll try making build guides eventually for open world gathering and other activities. As for the quickness uptime on scrapper: Berserker armor works fine with Diviner's weapon + trinkets. In Open World I often throw on a sigil of concentration for good measure. This won't gimp your damage too much in open world, allowing you to still participate in events efficiently. My build with my thief is a bit cheesy: I ran full diviner's gear with any of the rune sets that gives +boon duration (traveler, leadership, pack, hell even firebrand) and a sigil of concentration in my shortbow. This makes it so your "Haste" Utility skill reaches 10-11 seconds. I combined that whole set up with Cups of Light-Roasted Coffee (wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Cup_of_Light-Roasted_Coffee) to get near permanent quickness uptime and still enjoy the mobility of thief. The downside is that this build is rather bad for actually killing mobs though, so I mainly gather with it. If I were to kill mobs I'd swap to Deadeye.
Good video, you only forgot to remark about the chest farming after meta, the Winterberries are daily, so if you loot once the chest around map after next meta, in the next meta you can loot the chest but you wont get berries again. Also the meta in this map repeat every 45min approx.
I was looking for a solo farm to do while queueing for PvP and this seems very promising. Interrupting the farming shouldnt been too bad either, unlike fishing and the need to keep fishing party buff up.
Thanks! I was trying Tekkit's build in the video, to see whether I would like it. But I swapped back to a more offensive build like the one on Metabattle (metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Scrapper_-_Power_Scrapper), especially for events I prefer some more firepower. My absolute favorite for farming mobs/events is a rifle deadeye though. With Payback and Be Quick or Be Killed everything gets off cooldown so fast. I recently got legendary runes and I started running Runes of Speed for solo farming, out of combat it doesn't do much, but in combat you are only 2.25% slower than having perma superspeed.
nice vid. Had no idea the chests respawn after a successful meta, then again I barely spent any time on that map. Ill definitely try it as a chill farm when I don't want to follow a commander in Dragon fall. It would have been nice if we could get the bonus karma like the lws4 maps though.
Thanks! Yeah, the chests respawning after a successful meta makes this great to dip in and out of the map if you're doing other content. Or as you mentioned when you want a chill farm and not command one of the bigger metas. Slooshoo actually sells Karmic Retribution for 1k (rank 1), 5k (rank 2) and 10k (rank 3) unbound magic. The karma that drops from mobs isn't as consistent as LWS 4, but it's still worthwhile if you play for an extended amount of time on the map.
unlike the video says, ignore the breather because it's not considered in the overall stats, unless you fight underwater.... and go farm siren's landing... it's waaaay more convenient than bitterfrost.
Awesome video, but I disagree on the smoothness of the combat. It's clunky, floaty and feels like it has next to no impact. I've played MMOs for over 20 years and GW2 is in my bottom half of combat fun. Yet I can't stop playing this game for months at a time. Friends, the amount of content there is, the goals you set yourself to grind, are all very rewarding to do. Just got my first Legendary, after getting a precursor from the Mystic Toilet. It's great fun, and despite my gripes with the combat, it's definitely in my top 3 MMOs of all time.
Congrats on the legendary! Even though I love the combat feel, I do understand your point though. A lot of my friends also find the combat either hit or miss as well.

Thanks! And thank you for the pronunciation advise on Brazier, I actually didn't know! Makes the video somewhat funnier I guess.

At north-east where the hot springs are there is a heart vendor that sells some pretty good food for winterberries.
Very good and clear… an excellent video. Thank you
great content ! proud 100th sub
Thanks! It means a lot!

Oh, this one will serve you quite well in that case!
cool video, I've been doing this farm for quite a while :) what kind of build are you using here?
Thanks!

brazier (BRAY zee er or BRAY zher) = flaming torch ✅
brassiere (bra ZEER) = woman's undergarment 🙄
Certainly gives a new dimension to my guide right? :P
🤦♀😺
