I personally believe that warrior got benefited the least out of this system. The reason is quite simple. 2/3 expansions, warrior got just an offhand. Which means 4 skills in 2 expansions... that's kinda terrible. 1 of the offhands, the torch is straight up useless for core, spellbreaker and bladesworn. Not even a debate. Off hand dagger is also bad. Main hand is good, BUT.. the power of the mainhand dagger is it's F1. F1 cannot be used in Bladesworn. F1 can be used in berserker, but with berserker you wanna go into berserk, not spam F1s regularly. And Dagger's F1 is very weak compared to most if not all Berserk skills. F1 Can be used in core warrior though.. but core warrior is basically a meme and it's viable only if you don't own the expansions. So the only thing that warrior got and it's actually usable is pistol... Which is 2 skills. Not good enough compared to what the other classes have gotten. You got herald for example who got insanly overpowered weapons, like shortbow and greatsword... that's 10 skills combined. I always knew that warrior who get the least benefit... he just has a lot less skills to work with cus 2/3 expansions were only 1 off hand.
You haven't yet understood the power of offhand dagger. Let me explain: Step 1: pick any spec, take Sword MH and Dagger OH and any weapon you want on the swappable hand. This weapon will be used to whittle the person down to about 60% health. Step 2: take bulls charge (or even Fear Me for fun) and Intelligence sigils Step 3: When the target is about 60-70% health, bulls charge and swap to use dagger #4 then sword 3 and watch your target drop in 2 hits. And if they are still not down, dagger 5 or your burst will do
I think it'd be cool if they gave us a couple different skill choices for the weapon skills to swap out, like with the utility abilities, just to give some more freedom of choice and maybe more viability to other builds. I don't know how well that'd actually work out though; but, while I've gotten used to the combat in GW2 now (couple weeks now), I still think about GW1's massive selection for creative freedom. Sometimes I want to use a great sword for my Warrior for example (GW2), but maybe I get bored of the skills after running with them for a while--I can't do anything to change that really. In GW1 though, you could make multiple different kind of sword builds and mix n' match, etc. Still glad to see that this Weaponmaster thing is happening though :)
I think aegis from pistol 4 has great synergy with the shield master trait. Pair that with sundering leap, mace and shield/sword and you have a LOT of reflect uptime.
Dagger/Dagger is almost good for longbow Beserker in WvW zergs. You got leap finishers, you got boon rip, you got projectile reflect/barrier, you can use your non burst cleave move while moving. It just needs a bit more damage, either from increasing the damage of offhand dagger, or making the burst target cap at 3 instead of 1. Torch just doesn't work well with bladesworn or spell breaker to even be really fun to use. Maybe if torch 4 was an explosion and torch 5 ripped boons, it could have some synergies with the other elite specs, but it just doesn't do enough as is.
It's funny I loved Bladesworn til I had to deal with Team mates killing me cause they didn't know Mechanics, and I didn't test it in SOTO yet, but that's cause I got too distracted by Mesmer, and seeing how Mirage did. Mirage sadly still does best with Axe from my experience for dps, but for WvW and PvP the Dagger is just nasty, put it in a choke they're coming from and just watch their health disappear :) Also glad to hear that Dagger is usable on Bladesworn, cause I loved the idea behind Spell Breaker, just hated how much they fell behind in the past on dps. Counters are fun :)
I have been absolutely loving spellbreaker recently. Dagger/Axe & Hammer. Full zerk, Strength Defense Spellbreaker. Thing POURS out damage in squads. With the various strike %damage buffing traits, you get something like 100% extra damage. A bulls charge > dagger burst is so satisfying.
I run a Berserker warrior with Berserker armor The Scholar runes Relic Thief ax main hand with dagger offhand it's a fun build and it does really well to me
I dont get your comment, dagger T3 breaks 4 boons, T1 just breaks 2 If you were talking about damage, just look at GS, its dmg is the same at T3 and T1, T3 is just some extra fury duration
I am only getting one stack of Berserkers Power when using Dagger on Core. Other t3 burst skills are granting 3 stacks. I dont really care about boon rip on Core, as without Dispelling Force from Spellbreaker, boons are simply just reapplied in short order. I would much rather have damage and a t3 burst. Right now Core dagger is only hitting t1 burst levels of damage and its not enough. Spellbreaker is breaking 20k in one hit. @@Zekent
This weapon master thing is a big letdown if it is meant to supplant elite specs, in general this expac is just IBS with better maps but worse metas and more senseless grinds

Why is core warrior a meme when its 30k dps ?
@@youtubeuser2938 becouse the rest are like 40k dps.
Heh none of the weapons offered to the thief elites work none of them period.
Yeah warrior already got most weapons in core, so it was a bit expected to see less cool new weapons in expansions... but soon: Staff 5 skills 😀

Maybe in a few expansions we’ll get skill master or something haha
I can't wait to see all classes. Elementalist, revenant and Engineer is fun and stronger now.
I am going to LOVE this series. Thanks 😊❤
2nd this🎉

Running Dagger/Axe, Hammer Zerker , fun times, dagger stuns, and 5 key while they are stunned
Core Warrior is atleast for me the best choice. And now i can play it with Dagger Mainhand :D
Play what you like :), dagger main hand is good
I run a Berserker warrior with Berserker armor The Scholar runes Relic Thief ax main hand with dagger offhand it's a fun build and it does really well to me
Love the serie, i want to see more :)
loving berskerker dagger in open world
Core Warrior dagger is only a T1 burst. It needs to be a T3 Burst. Every other weapon on Core is T3.

Dagger/Pistol…… 🤔interesting
For warrior I think the new builds are a little "meh", I prefer the good old ones. Personally I Liked necro builds more.
Man, those are some great builds... for fighting bots
Warrior is a D- for me.
and now halloween nerfs comes live...Anet hates warrior like allways

I only play core Warrior. I hate the Elites.
