Journey to Hua Shan sacred Taoist Mountain of China

Hua Shan or Mount Hua is one of the five sacred mountains of China. It is a protected national park about a half day's drive outside Xi'An, capital of Shaanxi Province. My girlfriend and I along with her sister and boyfriend traveled to Xi'an city from Beijing to visit Hua Shan Mountain. March 25th 2007 we took the same route you did and also walked the wooden planks. Also saw that same man carrying package goods and playing his flute while he ascended the mountain steps. It was definitely a great trip and time we had. I recommend it to everyone once things get better in China. I also took video while there. Thanks for sharing!

I went there last year, unfortunately it was raining on the day and it was all fogged up! :( I'll have to make the journey to climb up again.
