  • This Is a requested video by our 502 subscriber. He wanted to see our hydraulic set up on our international 444 tractor. It’s an overview of how it’s piped and how it what each line does.
When looking at the casting on the two lever hydraulic control - the line that jumps over is a bypass and it says bypass on the casting.
We needed the ability to have hydraulics out the back so you can see where the quick connects where added. We use the quick connect points that have the nipple on it instead of a standard ball. This makes it easier to insert them if there is some residual pressure. Realize you have to relieve the pressure with the right move of the lever to make it easier and not get sprayed with pressurized hydraulic oil.
Adding long hoses to the back from these quick connects, during hay season, works for us.
We Are not responsible for anything you may or may not do this is just what we do. Working with hydraulics, high-pressure, tractors, farming, equipment, and anything else you may see or hear about in these videos is dangerous and can be deadly. We are not responsible for anything you may or may not do. This is merely entertainment, and hopefully educational.

We are glad this helped you. Old manuals are tough as they have simple limited drawings.

Bought a 454 that has been Disassembled for years two bins of parts. Hydraulics pump was not mounted on the tractor.
Bought a manual however your tractor is more like what I am dealing with.
Just getting my head wrapped around this project and what I need. may reach out to you if that’s ok?

I would like to have a similar setup, only I have a 1501 Loader. When using an implement which requires rear remotes, I am assuming that you disconnect the hoses at the quick couplings and plug in your extra long hoses for the implements (pressure and suction), effectively losing use of the bucket. Correct?

Exactly. That’s what we do. I have extra long hoses on the haybine and the M&W round baler. That was the simplest quickest solution for me. The hydraulic cylinder on the bucket tilt holds good. If it didn’t I’d have to chain it up. As we have added other tractors to our growing farm I do feel the urge to go back and pipe permanent hydraulic quick connections to the back as the rest of them all have it.

Good video, it was easy for me to follow along. I've had a 444 for 6 years. Mine has a hydraulic auxiliary pump for the front loader that is mounted in front under the radiator. The shaft has worn out and I'm having trouble finding the parts rebuild.
Can you confirm that you are using your machines front loader without auxiliary pump

@@rickdinovi9217 confirmed it’s only the internal pump being used. Did you try abaline machine, Wengers of Myerstown, Steiner, all states AG parts? We do not have a front pump on our 444.
