Originally she was gonna appear in the first Avengers film as Joss felt that Scarlet wasn’t gonna appear in the film due to schedule conflicts so in a panic he wrote in Wasp with Zooey Deschanel being eyed for the role
A bunch of crap got in the way of the original script. Not only Wasp/Janet would’ve been in the Avengers movie but Red Skull would’ve been the main villain instead of Loki.
20:46 I love this moment so much. For a moment it seems hostile because that’s what the Hulk is used to. But Cap doesn’t see the Hulk for the destruction supposedly left in his wake, but for his genuine attempts to help people and stop greater threats. Cap understand better than anyone that what makes a hero comes from the inside, so this pep talk was probably really vindicating and inspiring for Hulk. TL;DR: That’s why Cap’s the goat
Excellent video.Avengers EMH in my opinion is the best marvel cartoon because it is the equivalent of justice league unlimited, where very hero and villain is done justice and to this day is my favorite version of that character. The worldbuilding is done justice in this show where it feels like a real world with real people.
There's some stuff I find weird tho, like how tbey never deal with or bring up the consequences of some catasthrophic some events (look at Graviton's battle for example). I also find it weird that WWII is this universe has nothing to do with fascism, but is just about Hydra instead, kinda weakens Captain America's character in my view. I get that they wouldn't want to talk about nazis in a kid's show, but they still have a lot of very clear nazi imagery, so I don't know, feels weird. Other than that tho, the world-building is amazing and really well planned out
I personally enjoy that Wasp was reaching out to Hulk early on in EMH, trying to joke with him, and enjoying fighting villains with him. Wish we could have seen more of it to be honest.
No, EMH didn’t die because of the MCU. It died due to Jeph Loeb taking over the television production of Marvel and cancelled the show under belief of creating an Avenger show that doesn’t alienate new viewers due to the serialized storytelling that the show (EMH) is known for. Which is ironic given that recent complaints of the MCU is due to all the interconnecting serialized storytelling. Point is MCU isn’t really to blame for EMH being gone.
Tbf the MCU did make superhero’s main stream so I have to give credit were credit is due. But I do think it’s dumb that the Avengers Assemble show replaced it because it had to be more similar to the MCU so it got cancelled. It sucks that it happened and that they did more seasons than EMH. Every show in the YostVerse has been cancelled in a stupid way I feel.
@@BigK13372it kind of is, the people at marvel wanted to make the cartoon more like the movies since it was such a success, that they basically watered down all the characters into children in adult bodies.
@@geeebuttersnap2433 But here’s the thing though: Avengers EMH utilizes plenty of elements popularized by the MCU in its characters & stories, as well as do some synergizing when the first movie became a major success (especially during its second season). Hell a lot of the humor in the show is a similar referential and wry comedy that is akin to the ones found in said films. The difference though with Assemble is the writers manage to seemlessly integrate said elements without directly ripping stuff off from the films and still be its own thing. Which is why I blame it all on the producers and writers for the flaws in Assemble, not the whole success of the MCU
@@BrutusTheAnimatorconsidering that the writes of X-Men 97 don’t understand how Gambits powers work on objects ya it’s definitely cut from the same cloth as the 90’s show.
x men 97 has too much nostalgia because people actually watched tv back then. Unfortunately almost nobody I know of has seen EMH, not to mention its living proof disney messed up (this was cancelled for the disney-created shows iirc) and rebooting it would mean disney has to admit it was a mistake to cancel...
It's a kids show Why do you want cartoon characters to have relationships. The reason anime has been smashing western animation is because they understand the concept of it's a kids show. Goku literally has 2 kids and a wife He has never said he loves any of them or showed any affection beyond protecting them. And you go to the USA and people are complaining USA: hey how come the cartoons aren't in a relationship and how come they aren't displaying human affection on screen 👀 When Americans made a parody of DBZ They added their desires into the story It's a kids show It only needs to have action, story and good animation Ben 10 was a great show Then Ben 10 got a girlfriend and Kevin got a girlfriend And everything went from great kids show Too The creators need to touch some grass. Every time cartoons try to imitate real life the show dies every time. Regular show was great then the Americans boycotted it and demanded that the cartoon animals date, killed the show instantly . Gumball great kids show again Americans boycotted it and demanded a relationship between the weird animal kids it killed the show instantly. Adventure time was a great show until the boycott. Literally everytime relationships get involved in cartoons it kills the show. Naruto ended when everyone started dating because they made that the focus. If a show starts and there is a preexisting relationship it has no effect on the show but when you use a kids show to tell a bullcrap love story it kills the show everytime. In bleach ICHIGO literally didn't have a relationship till the series ended And the show is still on top. Asian anime has it's dark corner obviously but they don't mess with kids shows or kids entertainment. Americans have too much Epstein blood in their veins hence the desire to adultify every form of entertainment as if kids don't watch that. I'm looking at you Disney, netflix, nickelodeon but cartoon network gets a pass because atleast they draw lines
@@lindamasha3552😂 Made my day with this comment. There are so many cartoons that have relationships that doesn’t ruin the show and sometimes makes them better. Avatar The Last Airbender for example is built off between the relationships between the characters. Spectacular Spider-Man also used relationships in a really amazing way imo. I’m not going to be able to change your mind but have a good day 👍
Season 3 would had focused more on the involvement of the X-Men, Scarlet Witch, and even Dr Strange. Its insane what an amazing Season we missed just to get Avengers Assembled
32:15 The best way to describe him in Endgame is a much less interesting version of Peter B. I agree with a lot of what you've said here, but to play devil's advocate: The MCU is a collection of films that focus on heroes, with some team ups. EMH is a series entirely focused on the relationship of these characters. The format is different. In the show, each character can learn something in 22 minutes. In a film, it'll usually take 2 hours. And that's because of the medium. So it's a bit like comparing apples to oranges. They're different because the style of storytelling is different. Tldr: bc the medium is different, it's hard to compare the MCU to the EMH.
There’s definitely an argument you can make. I just feel some of these characters should’ve been implemented better especially the Hulk. TV definitely has the advantage of exploring everyone further and that’s great but they should be exploring these characters more. Some of these movies never move the character in any direction they just stay the same or somehow make them less interesting than they were before hand. I understand the argument you’re making though and it’s a valid argument. I just want them to handle the characters with more respect. I also think they could develop the relationships between the Avengers better but that’s just me. I also wanted to make a point that this show shouldn’t be overlooked because it’s animated and not live action
Your point doesn't do MCU any favours, since, unlike EMH, the MCU have solo movies where they expand upon the characters in the Avengers to a greater extent. Granted, that's just semantics, since they usually don't expand upon their characters and just make solo movies out of commercial obligation.
EMH was one of the best marvel cartoons I have ever watched and the fact it was cancelled so soon, was a real mistake Marvel did, although, there could be a chance it might return since the 90s X-Men Series came back. Nice Analysis video by the way!
Yeah, I agree it’s absolutely criminal that every show in this universe has been cancelled when all the shows were fire. It also sucks knowing that Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy got a lot more seasons and that universe got to go on for as long as it did compared to the YostVerse, sad to see man. Also appreciate it 🤘🏻
@@krispykrb7081 This might be a bit off topic, but I think we need to see Earth 1048's version of the Avengers and hopefully they take inspiration from EMH.

I got an idea! With CGI technology and the whole multiverse thing happening, Marvel Comic Book Fans could just make they’re own marvel cinematic universe that is more comic accurate to the source material. Hollywood will never be comic accurate. They only want to put things what they want. But you Y’know what? I say the hell with them! Let’s start a petition for an CGI cinematic Marvel Universe! Who’s with me!!!
Bruce can talk to Hulk when he's out, but never on screen and it would've been interesting to see. Also in episode 3 when Hawkeye asked Bruce about why Hulk saved the jet he just dodges the question with a few of his own. Plus when Hulk looks to escape and turns around I can't tell if he is looking at the crashing jet or Bruce telling him/asking him or something about saving the people on the jet. Ross has a big vendetta(if that's the right word) against Hulk and Bruce (Don't know who he hates more) and I wonder if it has anything to do with Betty, who is not even mention in the show. Edit: forgot to add that when the random team ups happen or just the characters hanging out is funny and fun
Nah she would have been awesome in a similar role in the mcu. After watching EMH you definitely feel the void in the early movies. We love our well written female characters.
I want this show to return but I'm so concerned of the idea that Kevin would force MCU synergy basically throwing away everything that made this show special something that Hasbro tried to do with Transformers Animated for season 3, seriously seeing the original season 3 script/idea compared to the changed they had to make due to the higher ups is night and day to such a embarrassing degree
Yeah, it could either be an X-Men 97 situation or a Young Justice situation. Hopefully if it does come back they get all the same people which unfortunately they probably wouldn’t just for the fact that they weren’t able to get the people that made the original Daredevil series for the new show so it’s most likely not going to be great
To be fair, EMH did take a few aspects from the MCU like Nick fury being black, Hawkeye being a Shield agent, Jarvis being an AI and nobody has secret identities.
@@hagos9939Which was a characteristic popularized by the MCU ofter the post credit scene of Iron Man. Like in main universe and a lot of media appearance Fury is depicted as white, where he only appears black in like Ultimate Comics based adaptation like the Ultimate Spider-Man video game or Ultimate Avengers movies
EMH is more developed than the MCU. Comic super materials like adamantium and Uru exist along with vibranium. The villains have access to materials that allow them to engage the most powerful heroes. The animated series more closely resembles the comic concepts and overall lore of the source material.
EMH is great because it’s one world where everything happens. Yeh it’s way harder to do it in movies but each movie seems so inclined and sometimes it seems that other hero’s don’t exist. Love the one world where every hero mutant and super human can live
Love the whole video, but gotta shout out when Janet said “firemen sleep in the firehouse!” When asked why she moved into the mansion. She just loves being a hero and takes it so seriously it really was the line that made me a fan.
I've never read the comics, so I had no clue who Wasp was until watching The Ultimate Avengers and Avengers: EMH and I just LOVE her! She's so cheerful and I think it's adorable how she wanted to be a hero in the beginning of the series. While the dynamic between Cap and Iron-man is interesting in the MCU, I love how there wasn't any bitterness between them in EMH. I've only seen the first half of season one, so I don't know how different things are in season two. I probably feel this way because I've seen the MCU first, but I actually love that Tony's the leader of the Avengers in EMH rather than Cap. It's a nice switch.
16:44 Yes, the Sokovia Accords that Tony signed and later violated by going to Siberia without authorization, as well as kidnapping and blackmailing a teenager.
Easy rhetorical jujitsu against the live action for adults crowd: Most live action movies need animators for their vfx to work. Most animators do not need live action anything to get their jobs done.
Great video Krispy. Hank Pym is personally my favorite character in EMH. I watched it for the first time recently and absolutely loved it as most did and was bummed that it got canned like Spectacular. Also did you notice that the Skrull that impersonated Cap wore an Ultimates inspired costume instead of his original comic book look? I also have a couple video ideas in the pipeline and would love to work with you at some point, do like a collab on our thoughts on a superhero show/character, if you're down of course.
Hank Pym is fantastic, love that version of the character too. I did notice the Skrull Cap wearing his Ultimate design, I think that such a great detail and I feel like it’s a nod to that Cap being very out of character which I find really funny. I’m definitely down to collab with anyone at some point but for now I’m just going to keep growing my channel by myself.
@krispykrb7081, since you were asking about why the MCU chose to downplay Hank Pym and make him an old mentor to Scott, it's because of his lasting "legacy" when he was Yellowjacket. He "hit" Janet because of his mental condition (this was actually because of a writing/artist disconnect where Hank was only supposed to push her away but the artist wanted Janet to be hit). Because of that, Marvel have been scared of using both him and Wasp for that reason and omitted them from the Avengers movie (not completely as Zooey Deschanel was considered to play Wasp in the first Avengers movie, but that was a thought in case Scarlett Johanssen's contract wasn't renewed) and the movie was pushed from Phase 1 to Phase 2. The last time they were in anything prominent was Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes where they were shown as founding members of the Avengers, Janet even names the team for crying out loud! The Yellowjacket slap was apparently so bad, Marvel denied the writers of the Secret Invasion storyline to retcon it by saying that Hank was replaced as a Skrull at the time because it was the most prominent thing Hank had ever done in the comics... what?! Multiple members of the Avengers who are relatively popular now have done far worse in the comics (Tony establishing a police state and locking away prisoners in an alternate dimension in Civil War, Captain Marvel wanted to arrest people just on the suspicion that they may be evil because of a mutant who can predict the future in Civil War II, etc), but I guess a miscommunication between the writers and artists is enough to blacklist Hank Pym and, in extension Janet van Dyne from being a prominent character.
That really sucks man. I can’t believe one comic panel fucks up the character for Marvel what a shame. I hope that he can someday come back from greatness just like he did in this show. I feel like they’re doing something similar with T’challa as the Black Panther because of Chadwick Boseman’s passing now I feel there afraid to use the character for some reason, like now he’s T’Chaka in X-Men 97 when he was originally T’challa. Stupid companies making stupid decisions, rip man.
@@krispykrb7081 I wish they handled the first Black Panther movie like the Ultimate Avengers 2 movie did with the heritage of the Black Panther and what that symbol means to Wakanda, like maybe show us that he has a son in the 2018 movie and have T'Challa teach his son about the ways of The Black Panther and when he goes to visit his dad in the Astral plane, he can ask for advice or something like that. Then when we get to Wakanda Forever, it's not just a plot point that he has a son off screen. Just a thought but I think it would make the whole Chadwick thing less awkward.
The fact that they had the PERFECT setup for Spider-Man fighting for battles “beneath” the Avengers and still doubled down on him taking on world enders was so odd. The mafia using supervillains as a distraction for superheroes while the real money makers do their thing was the thing of brilliance.
EMH/Spectacular always kinda made me feel sum typa way about all the movies, like prime MCU was great, but it never really matched these shows i grew up with

@@krispykrb7081 you right about that! I hope they bring back all the greats Spider-Man 94 & Spectacular was the BEST! Hell Iron Man & Fantastic Four animated would hit super hard build it all back up like the MCU yet that’s a lot to ask lol 😂.
MCU Ultron does hate humanity and wants to "reset" the world, as he sees the Avengers as hypocrites because for how much they try to do good, it only ends up in more destruction - a constant loop of chaos where nothing really improves. He "acts human" because his personality programming is based on Tony's.
EMH is fantastic but a few things Ultron’s mind was based off Hank Pym’s brain waves in the comics and Tony in the MCU, hence why Ultron’s personality is very much like MCU Tony MCU’s thing is actors are more expensive to get actors even for cameos and the focus are handled differently. I agree Secret Invasion was poor, not because or solely due to Avengers not being in it, but more on how Nick Fury was handled. I don’t think it’s more limited but how it grows is different.
I agree with most of what you say about the mcu but one thing I disagree with is when a hero is in Their solo film and dosen’t call other heroes for help there’s a reason for that because it’s not there movie and by another hero showing up it steals the thunder from that main character who of the film that’s like Hulk calling iron man man to help him fight abomination in a Hulk film that dosen’t make sense because it’s a hulk film not an iron man film. Plus the heroes come together when they face a threat they absolutely CANNOT face alone like thanos but if Iron man is facing the mandarin his arch nemesis that he can defeat by himself, then bring in other heroes is unnecessary
That's one thing that always irritates me when people say where is this character or this team because you idiots when you read watch or play superhero stories you came for the main hero
@@Spider-Fan006 thank you! And it also take away the characters agency to bring in other heroes to bail them out and plus the avengers is a team that assembles to take on world ending threats not earthly matters that one hero can face alone
Actually Rhodey hasn’t been a Skrull since Civil War, it was said like a month ago that he wasn’t taken until after Endgame which is after Civil War, because Rhodey in Endgame still has his suit and still has the leg braces and Rhodey in Falcon and The Winter Soldier doesn’t have the leg braces anymore. And Gravik’s plan wasn’t put into effect until after the final battle in Endgame.
46:50 you should read her solo comics, she's got four runs that I would argue are essential to her character, the Chris Claremont Ms. Marvel stuff is just her whole origin as a super hero, the 2006-2010 stuff written by Brian Reed is just flat out phenomenal and easily her best years as Ms. Marvel, the Kelly Sue Deconnick stuff is great, it's the early years of Carol as Captain Marvel and features some pretty interesting stories. Finally the Kelly Thompson run which is just a fun romp, not my favourite but definitely fun. edit: ALSO AVOID ANYTHING WRITTEN BY BENDIS, that man hates Carol I swear he writes her like a stupid meathead which she just isnt in any other stuff so there's that.
Thank You! I’ll definitely give them a look when I got some time because this show made me like her character and I definitely want to like her comic counterpart.

Finally someone has the same point of view as me as to why Ultron was such a wasted villain in the mcu 11:37 the only thing they did to his character is make him another Tony Stark knock off but a dark mirror of him when he is much more than that not to mention the fact that he was working with Scarlet witch and Quicksilver which is something that is entirely against this character because he'd rather accomplish his mission on his own than working with an organic life whether it's human or mutants because he thinks he's more superior to them 18:13 will it make sense for him to be frustrated due to everything that happens around him and because of bad timing every time he tries the figure out a plan just stop a threat or figure a solution for something he always does it in the middle of the threat invading Earth because of said threat launching their attack earlier than he expected so he has to act quick or else the earth would be Doomed add to the fact that he also suffers from constant pressure from his teammates because they cannot hold the threat for long and they are trying to buy some time for him to figure out a plan while mcu on the other hand had all the time in his hands to create Ultron to stop the threat of Thanos we all know how that went out and even with all that time he had he still wasn't prepared for Thanos and it ended up costing him his life in order to save the world so if anything I'd say Earth's mightiest heroes version of iron Man did a way better job at handling threats who are way larger than Thanos more than mcu iron Man handled their big bad the mcu has been setting up for over for over 5 7 or 10 years or whatever time that was I'm not saying that the mcu iron Man is bad in fact I agree with everything you said about him and I still think Robert Downey Jr has the best adaptation of iron Man of all time I'm just pointing that out there but for me it's a tie because I like both adaptations of the character
I think its kinda of a unfair comparisson, because EMH being serialised they had more time and space to plan and develop everyone, but man its EMH it was really good
They definitely could’ve made it better though but I will agree the other medium does have the advantage over the other. I just want all the characters to be done well and be respected unlike what the MCU has currently been doing. I still love both though don’t get me wrong.
@@krispykrb7081you kinda have to understand that movies and films have a different tone. The MCU Avengers were inspired by the Ultimates from the Ultimate universe, and of course it going to be darker than the EMH. EMH is lighter in tone and does have a lot of colourful things. Also The Avenger movies have a limited 2 hours or 3 whereas EMH is a series.

Great video. I think you're right and you explained all the reasons well. My only criticisms are that you gave MCU Black Widow the point over EMH Widow. EHM Widow had a fluid arc that was planned since her first appearance to the end of the Skrull invasion, and her relationship with Hawkeye and SHIELD was great. MCU Widow seems to just be clouded in "Johansson hot" and no one seems to address that, outside of CA2: Winter Soldier and maybe Iron Man 2, she was an abysmal character. Her development with hawkeye also left to a shockingly terrible contradiction to the soul stone in endgame, but people still seem to think that Hawkeye cared about Widow in that scene, despite Hawkeye basically dooming over the loss of his family. Meanwhile Widow stalked Hawkeye for 5 years and, since Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, she was basically trying to latch on to anyone desperately for family. Her dying ruined Hawkeye's payoff. The only other criticism is how little you talked about Wasp. We know she's obviously better in EMH, but despite how amazing the series was, its possible to argue she was the star performer with how well she brought out her high energy personality and meshed well with both her team and in playful aggravation of the enemies.
Great points! I actually had forgotten her development with Hawkeye so I forgot to mention it. I did also gloss over Wasp a little bit definitely should’ve dived a bit deeper into her character.
OMG I HAD NO IDEA THAT SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN WAS LINKED TO ANY OTHER SHOW. You have no idea how happy that makes me. Literally one of if not the best super hero show ever, but tbf Im extremely biased lol
New sub here! Looking forward to see more of your content I want to add, I kind of wished Spider-Man would be more integrated into the avengers team after season 3, I looked at the season 3 synopsis and it doesn’t include Spider-Man in any of these episodes. Would’ve been fun to see how his interactions would be with the other avengers.
I appreciate that! You never know it might’ve just not be in the plot synopsis for the certain episodes. There probably wasn’t an episode centered around him and they just have him as an extra but unfortunately will never know.
the fact that wasp in endgame appears in literally one scene where she is noticeable and her presence amounts to something is when they say "you got it cap" and she's never significant again and captain marvel in EMH thank god for it was NOT everything captain plank in MCU modelled by modern marvel comics was spiderman in MCU is a wasted potential and a lot of waste at it civil war establishes that he already saw uncle ben die and "with great power" and what not so sure he gets a better suit from tony and just because they teamed up once he thinks he's above the school, that every thursday will be big fight and has to learn that he's not gonna be ultra special hero ok let tony give him iron spider why not take that away from him in far from home he's iron boy junior for some reason and while it is understandable that too much pressure and last thing tony gave him would push him towards giving it up it's a movie where things went bad to the point of people in this universe being complete morons and in no way home things get even worse, apparently "with great power" never happened for him before, uncle ben seems to have never existed AND ZENDAYA STILL RUINS ENTIRE MOVIE WITH EVERY SCENE SHE'S IN AND SPEAKS so while it is within character's range to get as angry as he gets because green goblin killed aunt may he is acting like it's the first time he lost someone close and important that is evident proof that writers didn't even bother googling previous movies and MCU effectively died with tony stark
31:28 Thor seemed like the butt of the joke in Ragnarok to me. He was frightened by an automated introduction speech. He begged for his hair to not be cut. He knocked himself over bouncing a ball. I could go on but I won't, literally, I skipped Love and Thunder.
I agree and I get the basics of what your saying. The mcu tried being serious and didn't embrace it's comic book side while EMH did and it was held back by movie rights to certain characters 4:00 what filter?
I don’t agree that it should’ve embraced its comic side, unless you’re talking about taking good things from the comics but I could care less if the medium isn’t comic book accurate as long as their getting to the core of the characters that’s all I care about. I just don’t feel all the characters were handled with respect in the movies. It’s a blue filter they added to the screen. For some reason MCU movies don’t look good because they add a filter like that over everything for some reason and it’s definitely present in Endgame, if you look up why Marvel movies look bad on TH-cam it’s mostly because of the damn filter lol
EMH Hulk is by far the best version of the character outside of comics, although I wish we got to see more of Banner. His dynamic with the Hulk was so intresting but always seemed unfair to Bruce, We could have seen him helping out the Avengers with science stuff on occasion but Hulk was selfish and unwilling to share their existance. Had the show continued I would have liked to see the relationship develop with Hulk learneing to accept Banner just as he had learned to accept the Hulk.
They made a deal in season 2 were he can come out once every week (it might’ve been month I can’t remember) so I did like that but yeah, I do wish we got more of Banner
Agree hope mcu learnt from Avengers Earth's Mightiest Hero and xmen 97 how to tell good stories. Disney should bring back Avengers Earth's Mightiest Hero
This show should get the x-men'97 treatment it's the best marvel universe i still like the mcu even after they fell off but they will never be the same
One of them was not really remembered and ended but now it is remembered as an underrated gem,the other was loved by people from the get go but now it is just gotten worse over time and just needs to end.
Whoever had the dumb idea of making Hank Pym and Janet old and retired in the MCU and Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne as the main Antman and main Wasp needs jailtime asap. Not only both of Scott and Hope were miscasted (I would pick Domhnall Gleeson for Scott and Lily Collins for Hope) but Janet and Pym are core Avengers characters and they should be on their prime on MCU.
These are adaptations, they take the source material and do whatever they want. Also Hank and Janet are okey in the MCU(it’s just my opinion and that’s it). But EMH Hank and Jan are great.
New sub! Definitely need a follow up to this! Maybe a deeper dive into how xmen 97 & Invincible are a return to form in a way & how emh can be looked at as inspiration for the new universe after secret wars? Idk just throwing out ideas but good work 👍🏽
I agree Hulk doesn’t get developed as much as he should but honestly that’s a problem that’s due to Universal Studios and Marvel Studios having to share the Hulk, and he can’t have a solo film of his own. And The Incredible Hulk film , the ending was not about controlling the Hulk, but coming to terms with the monster inside and directing him to do good (there were scenes earlier with Bruce and Betty, discussing about Hulk knowing how good he could), which is something he was learning to do at the end of TIH. The reason they had Professor Hulk was more about doing a What If Scenario in how people coped with the ending of IW. It just feels like we needed development. But Yostverse Hulk was better
I still think they could’ve gave him development in the Avengers movies because other characters got development. I looked up what the ending meant and it said that he learned how to control the Hulk but maybe it’s wrong
Ultron and Hank Pym are some of my favorite characters in Marvel (They ain’t beating Spider-Man though). So when the MCU adapted them I was very disappointed with the result though Hank got an incredible moment in Antman Quantamania and Ultron might be coming back in Vision Quest. I also just hate how MCU Ultron looks I don’t understand why they couldn’t go for the comic look.
Iron man 2 wasn’t about Tony not wanting to give up power, it was that he knows what ppl can do with HIS name and HIS gear so he doesn’t give anyone a chance to use it for war like the government
I know people will say “BUT BUT SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN ISNT PART OF THE YOSSVERSE”. To that I say, it was always meant to be part of it, Josh Keaton recorded his lines as Peter Parker for the Avengers episodes but at the last minute they replaced him with Drake Bell. Thats literally the only flaw with EMH, that they replaced Josh Keaton.
Yeah and that’s technically not even the shows fault, it’s Disney forcing them to do it because of the Ultimate Spider-Man show. Even though the creator doesn’t agree that he wasn’t supposed to be Spectacular, we can assume that he went through everything the main Spectacular did because he was intended to be Spectacular. It’s kinda like the Across the Spider Verse movie were the creator also doesn’t think that’s Spectacular but we can assume he also went through everything the main one did.
What’s even sadder about the Wasp in the MCU is that she became one of the biggest plot holes after Endgame. As in Endgame Scott explains that time works differently in the Quantum realm so for everyone else it was 5 years, but for him it was 5 hours. So then if we’re going by that logic how the hell did Janet age? If she was in the Quantum realm since the 80’s then wouldn’t that mean for her she’d been only down there for 2 days for her at the most? Shouldn’t she still be young and not the same age as Hank, but the same age as her Daughter? Unless they some how explained it in Quantumania, but considering that Kang was trapped there because it was outside of time then Janet shouldn’t have been older.
Man everytime I think about EMH Carol compared to her MCU version, I just get sad because she was one of my favorites. She's just a honest down-to-earth person despite being one of the most powerful and destructive Avengers on the team. I could listen to her ramble about her time in the military for hours and be completely invested. Meanwhile, I'm struggling to find any noteworthy in MCU Carol that doesn't end in either complete apathy or annoyance.
Yeah unfortunate. I hope that MCU Carol does get better but it doesn’t seem like that’s happening. EMH Carol actually felt like friends with everyone and had such a great personality too bad we didn’t see more of her
Avengers:EMH did everything better than even the best MCU films. If you had a gun to my head and said choose one to keep and one to erase from history, I would choose to keep Avengers:EMH every time.
There is no comparasion, my unestimated BOZO *EMH WAS MADE OUT OF PURE LOVE & RESPECT FOR THE SOURCE MATERIAL, C.U.M. was made by people who openly despises the comics where is based off(LET'S NOT FORGET THEY RACE-SWAPPED & GENDERSWAPPED TASKMASTER, one of the most important Gay & Mexican Characters in all comic history)*
at first when I was younger I used to enjoy the mcu and it has a few moments I enjoy, but I feel this show actually did what a billion dollar studio never could: honor the source material and treat the fans with respect, the mcu is a crappy joke now and it makes me very sad, but despite the mcu trying to taint what I love, I can always enjoy the comics 1940-2010, I feel like those decades truly are the marvel age of comics, and this show obviously way better than the crappy egos and scum that is easily Hollywood, this show understands these characters and will always hold a special place in my heart 👍
A few questions - How would you feel if the first saga in the MCU was focused on the Masters of Evil instead of Thanos ? They could have Baron Zemo be a evil Nick Fury. - how would you feel if phase 2 of the MCU was structured like this ( of course some of the MCU movies need to be rewritten in order for this structure to make sense ) - Thor The Dark World - Guardians of the Galaxy - Avengers Age of Ultron - Captain America the Winter Soldier - Ant-man - Iron Man 3 - Captain America Civil War - do you think Wolverine and the X-Men fits well in the Yost-Verse ? That show focuses on real world events while it suits the tone for that show it does not suit EMH and Spectacular Spider-Man’s tone, it makes the Yost-Verse kinda dark. -I’m not sure if you’ve seen EMH in a while but what did you think of the Thor centered episode in season 2 and how did you feel that none of the Avengers were in that episode ? You seem to criticize some movies like Iron Man 3 and Captain America the Winter Soldier not having other heroes tag in.
- I think that would be so cool but it really just depends on how they would've implemented it. Right now, how would the masters of evil work if they keep killing there villains in every movie 😂 also there's not really an avengers team atm so they don't really have any one to fight. - Not sure. I think again, we would just need to see how it's implemented plus I don't think much changes if the order's changed. The only thing that makes more sense is Ironman 3 being after Age of Ultron because that's when he quits being Ironman but then Civil War is the next movie so he would instantly come back. -It's funny because I've only finished half of it but I think it fits from what I've seen. It might cover more real world topics but I think a certain show in a universe can cover that stuff, even in Spectacular, Harry's drug addiction is a topic that's covered. Different real world topic were happening to the X-Men in the comics too so I don't see why it can't be added and there's also X-Men 97, that show was covering dark topics compared to Spider-Man TAS and the other shows in that universe. -I personally don't enjoy that episode, It's mostly a lot of missed potential in that episode with Surtur so I usually skip it. I was fine with the Avengers not being in the episode because they were on earth, it's not like Thor could contact them. In Thor the Dark World, Malekith attacks on Earth and no Avengers come to help.
I would make Ultron the phase 3 threat instead and have the Age of Ultron post apocalyptic world happen instead with time travel still being a relevant plot point as surviving heroes are the ones that help try and rewrite the past to prevent the future.
The thing with emh I like that it had over the mcu; it never fell off. It might have had only two seasons, but at least that meant it will be remembered fondly, unlike the mcu, which has been making poor quality films and tv shows for last 4 years.
Thor in the MCU is a joke now. That hurts me because he's my favorite comic book character. Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Thor is the best adaptation of the character thus far.
Not only Spectacular Spider-Man IS NOT the same from EMH, But even if it was he comes from a separate show made by different people who made EMH, your "ANALISIS" is if I said TFP is a bad show just because RID exists
He was intended to be, which was said by Joshua Fine so we can assume that he went through everything Spectacular Spider-Man did even if he’s not the same version. It still can make sense of Spectacular being in the world and I don’t find it hard to believe even if other people worked on it.
@@krispykrb7081Hey pal, first of all I'm sorry if u r disturbed by my comments. First of all, I want to ask which superheroes u want to appear in Insomniac verse? There is Wolverine game and even for X-Men in future. Personally I want Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan due to mainly third point. Due to my future fanfic crossover "My Dress-Up Spidey" with combination of multiple Spider-Man media (Anti-Ock Suit with spider legs, Spectacular Kraven's mutation, WoS Venom's Symbiote invasion and 5 headed kaiju form, etc.) with Marin Kitagawa from My Dress-Up Darling becoming love interest for either Peter or Miles as they both will be teenagers (with other getting shipped by Ms. Marvel). I am not forcing u or promoting my fanfic. Just asking ur suggestion for 2nd point. Again sorry if I annoy you.

@@krispykrb7081 You did very well, gave everybody a fair and understandable review. Here's some other thoughts to think about I guess. Marvel What If should do episodes based on canceled projects, Edgar Wright was supposed to do an Antman film before Avengers, plus Oscorp from Amazing Spiderman was supposed to be in the background in Avengers, but at that point the film was already done being made, even Fury himself was supposed to say Mutants and Wall Crawler in the end of Ironman They did Bruce very well in the show but I wished we had more of him, especially his personal relationship with Betty. The Continuity is something that crosses my mind a lot, specifically the timeline in general. Using Peter as example, he just started his Sophomore year when the FF debuted. And became Spiderman himself in like March and he was a senior ot just graduated by the time he was in Avenger, personally I think he should have been college age, 19 at least, he just looks older is all. As for Wolverine and the X Men, not to far into the future but time has passed and all. Questions, 1 your thoughts and possible plans in season 3 and do you plan to breakdown the episodes or do other stuff?
@@OtakuBoy2022 I would think Hulk would be dope to see, also I would really love if they did a Hulk game. Also I wanna see Deadpool because I love those characters. No problem man, I always enjoy hearing people out, and that's awesome that your making a fanfic crossover, hope all goes well 👍
This is very controversial to a lot of people and it's totally understandable. Joshua Fine the supervising producer said EMH Spider-Man was intended to be Spectacular Spider-Man but Greg Weisman the creator of the show doesn't believe he's Spectacular Spider-Man. I think it's completely head canon since nothing contradicts him being Spectacular apart from the voice and there being a second Vault (which I consider to be the Vault 1.0 and the one in EMH is the Vault 2.0). Me personally, I believe he is a version of Spectacular that's gone through all the same stuff the main line version has and that also explains the voice change. It's basically like the Across The Spider Verse situation where Greg Weisman doesn't believe he's Spectacular but we can assume that he went through everything the main line version has gone through.
@@krispykrb7081 I go with what Greg Weisman and the Marvel wiki say. But I can understand your opinion and still love Spider-Man's inclusion in "Avengers EMH".
That’s a lot of cap that Spidey didn’t go through anything until NWH. He was already Spidey in the 6 months before Civil War. He got his identity revealed, died and came back to life, girl troubles, trying to be a hero and get accepted by his peers instead of seeing as a kid or nuisance. He was figuring out what being Spidey means and what responsibilities means. I don’t think anything about Tom Holland Spidey was confusing, yes Spectacular Spidey is better but I don’t think Tom Holland Spidey was that bad in Homecoming or NWH
Me neither. I was talking about consequences, he did have consequences in Homecoming but nothing big and then in the other movies he doesn’t have any consequences. This Spider-Man never had any big consequences until NWH
@@krispykrb7081 I think it’s like Harry Potter as he grows older , each film gets more serious as he matures. Homecoming was intentionally light hearted to switch up from what the studio deemed the darker ASM film. Peter in Homecoming learns the benefit of being a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and not trying to grow up too fast. Far From Home has him now caught up now living up to stepping up while dealing with his guilt and insecurity of everything that happened in Infinity War and learning he works best being his own hero and learning to trust himself including taking Mysterio down using his spider sense and resourcefulness ( in a way Peter’s arc is very similar to Tobey’s arc in Spider-Man 2 - him trying to escape from the responsibility of being Spider-Man and live as Peter, winning MJ love but FFH has a more global story while being on high school vacation) and No Way Home was a culmination of that arc and learning from other Spider-Men. Each arc in each movie got to deal with each aspect of being Spidey means from friendly neighborhood protector to being an Avenger level hero and the overall responsibility and sacrifices that come with it. I would argue being dead for five years in Infinity War and coming back to a world where everything has changed , having his whole identity revealed to the entire world in Far From Home, then coming back from death to loosing his mentor in battle and dealing with the guilt of that ( MCU Peter and Tony’s relationship was heavily inspired by the Ultimate comics Peter being a huge Tony fan boy and Civil War and early New Avengers Peter working for Tony) are fairly big consequences in MCU Peter’s life especially considering this happens on the span of him being 14-17. I think that’s the thing in comics, cartoons and movies Spider-Man: not every thing has to be big life changing consequences. Sometimes it can be late on rent or utilities, or getting grounded by Aunt May for coming home late (Ultimate Spider-Man#21), or missing a big battle because of humorous situations at his High School (USM#28). Parker Luck is general all around badness or misfortunes that just happened. But here each story the scope and the troubles with Spidey grow.
Yeah, I definitely agree. I was saying that he had no big consequences till no way home and I do get that he did have some in Homecoming and that it’s okay for him to have tiny consequences but for a movie I feel like a big consequence should be there but that’s just me because it’s used in a way to give so much more development for that character. I don’t think Tony’s death was a consequence for him since he couldn’t do anything about it. I don’t hate any of his movies and I respect what they were going for, I just wish it could’ve been more.
Spider-Man 1- Uncle Ben's Death, Peter's Fault Spider-Man 2- Spider-Man is ruining Peter Parker's Life and that's causing his relationships to fail Spider-Man 3- Ruins relationships he has when wearing the Black Suit and also made Venom Amazing Spider-Man- He help create Lizard and Uncle Ben died again Amazing Spider-Man 2- Gwen dies because he didn't keep Captain Stacy's promise Then we have Homecoming, he gets detention.
EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES IS STILL THE BEST MARVEL COMICBOOK ANIMATED ADAPTATION TO THE SCREEN. X-MEN 97 IS ALSO COMING VERY CLOSE SO FAR SINCE SEASON 1.
Very good video, also can I say I hate that stupid prejudice about animation and it being only for kids! That is so stupid especially when adult cartoons like South Park and those shows exist and even Todd McFarlane’s Spawn series exist and none of those are meant really for kids at all. Anyway the video was great and I agree EMH is fantastic and does things much better than the MCU does them in my opinion
Yeah, it honestly bugs me people don’t respect it when the medium can be fantastic but for people it’s like “oh wow it’s not live action this must be shit” that drives me crazy. The Oscars do it every year. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Chris Hemsworth wanted to be Fat Thor so they let him. Hulk wasn’t scared of Thanos he hated Bruce and didn’t wanna be used only for fighting, he wanted respect.
I don’t care that he’s fat but I want him to be an actual character instead of just a joke. I don’t think this was explained too well in the movie, they never gave a reason inside the movie
The point about characters not appearing or helping out in some movies (Thor 2, Winter Soldier etc...) compared to EHM is an unfair comparison. Number one the movies are beholden to irl stuff. The actors have other projects they can be working or just not be available....this is not a problem in EHM because it is animated. Plus EHM is AVENGERS cartoon...meaning it makes sense why most of the episode are about Avengers stopping threats and not just a single hero...and even then..there are episodes that exclusively revolve around a single characters. Which brings me to the Hulk problem. Hulk isn't done the best in the MCU I agree....but I don't think that is really the fault of the writters...more so the fact that Disney doesn't own the complete rights to the character...so he wasn't able to have a solo movie post The Incredible Hulk....so his developemnt mostly occured during the Avengers movie...which isn't really ideal for such a complex character...like the Hulk. Also that part about She Hulk being shown to be stronger than Bruce is just..incorrect. Problem number two: Ultron. I do have my gripes about his MCU variant...but him acting human isn't one of them. Ultron's entire premise in the comics is that he is the physical manifestation of all the bad traits of Hank Pym. He has anger issues...etc etc. That's why Ultron in the MCU acts the way he does. He is Tony's bad traits combined. Problem number three: Thor. I admit I don't like Love And Thunder that much as well...but I must respectfully disagree with disliking his Endgame version. In Endgame...Thor is at his lowest. He feels like a loser and is very much suffering from depression and guilt...blaming himself not just for Thanos winning but also for all the people he lost. He thinks he's useless...a joke. It isn't until he travels to 2013 and meets his mother AND finds out that he is still worthy that he is able to overcome his pain. Problem number four: Fisk. Ok...I originally did not want to bring him up as he isn't really important in the video...but I couldn't help myself. I never understood the argument that Fisk was somehow "ruined" in Hawkeye. He's exactly where I expected him to be after Daredevil Season 3, The Snap and Clint's time as Ronin. He has to completely rebuild his empire from the ground up. He doesn't have the resources he did in Daredevil. He's desperate and he feels threatened. Problem number five: Ant-Man. Again...I don't think this is fair. As you said...EHM has Hank Pym Ant-Man and the MCU has Scott Lang Ant-Man...both are completely different characters. I don't think you should include a personal preference in a video that presents itself as a critical analysis. Problem number six: Captain Marvel. I don't think it's good look...admiting that you didn't watch The Marvels (a sequel to Captain Marvel) when trying to compare 2 versions of a characters...you esentially admited that you don't have the "full scope" let's say....of the character. I mean...in Captain Marvel she is brainwashed and gaslighted by the Kree to control herself and her emotions. It's why Carol is mostly serious trough the movie...and even then she still cracks jokes. Problem number seven: Spider-Man. Didn't Peter appear in like...3 episodes? We never got a conformation of Spectacular taking place in the same universe as EHM.It might have been...but it clearly never came into fruition. I don't like that you essentially make the same argument like the "Iron Boy Jr" idiots. In his earlier years...the comic book Spider Man was actually very similiar to his MCU counter part...his stories were mostly fun with little stakes. He was a selfish prick that really wanted to join the Avengers...and pretty much simped for the human torch see this video: th-cam.com/video/k317mvnIapQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MImRkWfzwMeipouS That's it...sorry for some errors.
Great points here! The first problem is understandable, I know that it’s out of their control and that actors are either working on something else or unavailable. I just think that some of these movies should at least acknowledge why they haven’t called the other one’s up. Like in Far From Home they gave a reason to why Spider-Man was really the only one available and I think that’s done well but for the others it doesn’t make sense to me. Animation definitely has the advantage over using the characters though and I’ll agree with you, I just feel it’s handled poorly a lot of the time but they do have some moments that are really well done like with Strange helping Thor in Ragnarok. I disagree with the Hulk statement because I think that they could’ve explored his character more in the Avengers movies and only some characters are given that which is just disappointing. Like Hawkeye and Black Widow imo have more development than him even without their movie and TV show. For the part about She Hulk it just looks like she wasn’t even trying in that show and everything comes really easy to her and the fact that she says that she has had to control her anger more because she’s female just is so dumb 😂 but I really just hated that everything came easy to her and it seemed like she can easily go toe to toe with the Hulk with no training. For problem 2 that’s also a great point, I just didn’t like that about him and that’s what makes Ultron, Ultron to me. Problem 3, I just wish they took it in a more serious direction since I feel that he was treated as a joke way more than he should’ve but I agree that it makes sense the direction that he went after Infinity War, I just don’t think they handled it properly imo. Problem 4, I disagree with this just for the fact that Fisk is someone who gains power, he did it in prison and he did it in Season 3 with the feds, he was gaining power in smart ways and would only resort to fighting if he had too. I did like the fight scenes with him though those were pretty cool. I just hope that they don’t ruin him in Born Again that’s all I care about. Problem 5, I’m not sure how it’s unfair. I’m just giving my thoughts on who I think was handled better. I get that they are 2 different characters but I’m not entirely sure what’s wrong with comparing them. If I compared Miles and Peter and I gave my opinions on which was handled better throughout Spider-Man 2 or the comics, I would just give my personal thoughts on it, I wouldn’t try and make it unfair and I would try and take my personal bias out of the comparison. Problem 6, Totally fair, I only based off from what I have seen so yeah. If I made this video right after Endgame then Captain Marvel from EMH would win, I don’t have any knowledge about her in the Marvels so 🫡 Problem 7, This is very controversial to a lot of people and it’s totally understandable. Joshua Fine the supervising producer said EMH Spider-Man was intended to be Spectacular Spider-Man but Greg Weisman the creator of the show doesn’t believe he’s Spectacular Spider-Man. It’s basically like the Across The Spider Verse situation where Greg Weisman doesn’t believe he’s Spectacular but we can assume that he went through everything the main line version has gone through. I’ll agree with him being somewhat similar to his earlier comic counterpart with very little stakes but I will admit his personality isn’t anything like his earlier comic counterpart but the story structure for sure was. I’m thinking more later into his career that cemented the bigger consequences because that became a core character trait later down the line. I don’t remember him ever wanting to eagerly join the Avengers unless you’re talking about the Ultimate Spider-Man run. Sorry if anything came off as aggressive in this thread because it’s hard to convey what emotions you’re bringing through text lol but I do like your points and I’m glad we could chat about them 👍
to be fair I think if you're counting spectacular spidermen and xmen evolution as expanding EMH's world, you should also be considering MCU tie-in shows when talking about how they expand the world too
That’s fair, I definitely should’ve spent more time on the MCU’s world, I did kinda gloss over it. Since the Netflix shows are canon now that adds a lot of depth to the MCU’s grounded world. I had mentioned the TVA but I have yet to watch Loki Season 2 so I don’t know if they added anything more. I’m not sure much was added from any of the other shows off the top of my head but I do agree that I should’ve delved a bit deeper into that section.
I really Love EMH but i gotta say most characters feel less natural in emh (the show tells us more about the characters than show us i feel ) and also they for the most part dont feel they are going in a direction and are not developing but simply sticking to the status quo also i think that captain america in the mcu is way better he has everything captain america has in emh but he also has way more depth and great character development and arcs captain america in emh doesnt develop at all and doesnt really have all the depth of mcu cap also i think that thor is also better in mcu he might not be as consistent but he has way more development and depth and feels more like a person than emh thor
If there is something that EMH surpasses the MCU, it is that in the cartoon the world really needs the Avengers, while in the movies they are the cause of every problem there is.

I can’t help but look at the mcu now and say “EMH died for this?” Kind of wish it didn’t exist so this show could go on.

It's a kids show
Why do you want cartoon characters to have relationships.
The reason anime has been smashing western animation is because they understand the concept of it's a kids show.
Goku literally has 2 kids and a wife
He has never said he loves any of them or showed any affection beyond protecting them.
And you go to the USA and people are complaining
USA: hey how come the cartoons aren't in a relationship and how come they aren't displaying human affection on screen 👀
When Americans made a parody of DBZ
They added their desires into the story
It's a kids show
It only needs to have action, story and good animation
Ben 10 was a great show
Then Ben 10 got a girlfriend and Kevin got a girlfriend
And everything went from great kids show
Too The creators need to touch some grass.
In bleach ICHIGO literally didn't have a relationship till the series ended
And the show is still on top.
Asian anime has it's dark corner obviously but they don't mess with kids shows or kids entertainment.
Americans have too much Epstein blood in their veins hence the desire to adultify every form of entertainment as if kids don't watch that.

Not OK if you're a Hulk fan like me. MCU Hulk is a disgrace to the character
@@krispykrb7081 That's 100% fair! Thanks again for your video, I really enjoyed it.
They really need to bring this show back.
Still wish this show never died
I got an idea! With CGI technology and the whole multiverse thing happening, Marvel Comic Book Fans could just make they’re own marvel cinematic universe that is more comic accurate to the source material. Hollywood will never be comic accurate. They only want to put things what they want. But you Y’know what? I say the hell with them! Let’s start a petition for an CGI cinematic Marvel Universe! Who’s with me!!!
cool video thanks for making and sharing it with me
Would've loved to hear the Vision take too, but I ain't complaining about length. Awesome job man, love the shows and the channel.
Eyy fellow wasp fan. Felt like I was the only one
Nah she would have been awesome in a similar role in the mcu. After watching EMH you definitely feel the void in the early movies. We love our well written female characters.
You have the smoothest brain if you thought that.
And then there is kamala and all of the minority heroes.
@@comicbookking3446Eh in all fairness Nick Fury being black was from the Ultimate universe

I'm so glad I found your channel. Great video, and your channel is so cool!
I appreciate it 🤟🏻
Carol (in the comics) as Ms Marvel and Warbird i always liked but once see became Captain it was like a totally different character.
@@krispykrb7081 Sounds good! Just let me know.
Being down bad for Wasp, Enchantress and Marvel is so real. Man, they really made a lot of characters attractive.

MCU Ultron does hate humanity and wants to "reset" the world, as he sees the Avengers as hypocrites because for how much they try to do good, it only ends up in more destruction - a constant loop of chaos where nothing really improves.
He "acts human" because his personality programming is based on Tony's.
Hey krispykrb, and to anyone else who sees this there may be a way we can save EMH by signing a petition about it if you look up Avengers EMH petition
EMH is fantastic but a few things
Ultron’s mind was based off Hank Pym’s brain waves in the comics and Tony in the MCU, hence why Ultron’s personality is very much like MCU Tony
MCU’s thing is actors are more expensive to get actors even for cameos and the focus are handled differently. I agree Secret Invasion was poor, not because or solely due to Avengers not being in it, but more on how Nick Fury was handled. I don’t think it’s more limited but how it grows is different.
I can never get enough EMA love videos

Didn’t know that, so that’s my bad. It still wasn’t done well though.
@@krispykrb7081 not to be that guy but try and get the name right because the Captain Marvel in this show is not Carol but her predecessor here she's called Mrs Marvel her original superhero name I used to like her as I always saw her as Marvel's Wonder Woman in terms of femininism Thor is Marvel's Wonder Woman in terms of mythology focus to his character

I want to add, I kind of wished Spider-Man would be more integrated into the avengers team after season 3, I looked at the season 3 synopsis and it doesn’t include Spider-Man in any of these episodes. Would’ve been fun to see how his interactions would be with the other avengers.

spiderman in MCU is a wasted potential and a lot of waste at it
civil war establishes that he already saw uncle ben die and "with great power" and what not
so sure he gets a better suit from tony and just because they teamed up once he thinks he's above the school, that every thursday will be big fight and has to learn that he's not gonna be ultra special hero
ok let tony give him iron spider why not take that away from him
in far from home he's iron boy junior for some reason and while it is understandable that too much pressure and last thing tony gave him would push him towards giving it up it's a movie where things went bad to the point of people in this universe being complete morons
and in no way home things get even worse, apparently "with great power" never happened for him before, uncle ben seems to have never existed AND ZENDAYA STILL RUINS ENTIRE MOVIE WITH EVERY SCENE SHE'S IN AND SPEAKS
so while it is within character's range to get as angry as he gets because green goblin killed aunt may
he is acting like it's the first time he lost someone close and important
that is evident proof that writers didn't even bother googling previous movies and MCU effectively died with tony stark

Yeah, that’s fair. I just felt like those weren’t as horrible as how they did it in Love and Thunder because of small they were.
@krispykrb7081 I mean the goofy parts. I feel like the mcu being to serious also made some of the character designs worse
But the MCU does tell good stories.
This show should get the x-men'97 treatment it's the best marvel universe i still like the mcu even after they fell off but they will never be the same

Idk just throwing out ideas but good work 👍🏽
Thank You! I might try these ideas but I already have a lot atm but I appreciate the ideas.
I didn’t mind the look too much and I absolutely love his voice but I’m glad they were treated with a lot more respect in this show
Iron man 2 wasn’t about Tony not wanting to give up power, it was that he knows what ppl can do with HIS name and HIS gear so he doesn’t give anyone a chance to use it for war like the government

Ok even though I love MCU Ultron, I prefer EMH version better
at first when I was younger I used to enjoy the mcu and it has a few moments I enjoy, but I feel this show actually did what a billion dollar studio never could: honor the source material and treat the fans with respect, the mcu is a crappy joke now and it makes me very sad, but despite the mcu trying to taint what I love, I can always enjoy the comics 1940-2010, I feel like those decades truly are the marvel age of comics, and this show obviously way better than the crappy egos and scum that is easily Hollywood, this show understands these characters and will always hold a special place in my heart 👍
A few questions
- How would you feel if the first saga in the MCU was focused on the Masters of Evil instead of Thanos ? They could have Baron Zemo be a evil Nick Fury.
- how would you feel if phase 2 of the MCU was structured like this ( of course some of the MCU movies need to be rewritten in order for this structure to make sense )
- Thor The Dark World
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Avengers Age of Ultron
- Captain America the Winter Soldier
- Ant-man
- Iron Man 3
- Captain America Civil War
- do you think Wolverine and the X-Men fits well in the Yost-Verse ?
I’m a simple man I see a krispy krb video I click it. It also helps that you talk about things I love
Haha appreciate that 😂
Thor in the MCU is a joke now.
Yo bro! I can't watch cause of work but I hope this gets the same treatment as Spectacular, remember the trivia stuff o gave? Also bye, watch later!
Did you mean the same treatment as X-Men 97? Also appreciate it
@@krispykrb7081Hey pal, first of all I'm sorry if u r disturbed by my comments.
@@krispykrb7081no I mean like analyzing the episodes but yeah it would be cool if this was revive i can also finally watch now, if something doesn't pop up, I'll leave a review later or tomorrow
@@krispykrb7081
You did very well, gave everybody a fair and understandable review. Here's some other thoughts to think about I guess.
Marvel What If should do episodes based on canceled projects, Edgar Wright was supposed to do an Antman film before Avengers, plus Oscorp from Amazing Spiderman was supposed to be in the background in Avengers, but at that point the film was already done being made, even Fury himself was supposed to say Mutants and Wall Crawler in the end of Ironman
They did Bruce very well in the show but I wished we had more of him, especially his personal relationship with Betty.
No problem man, I always enjoy hearing people out, and that's awesome that your making a fanfic crossover, hope all goes well 👍
I love your video, but didn't Greg Weisman confirm that "Spectacular Spider-Man" isn't part of the Yostverse?
@@krispykrb7081 So you believe EHM Peter is the Yostverse version of Spectacular Peter? Interesting.
@@milesbradshaw6643 Nope, I just believe he’s a version of Spectacular that’s gone through everything the main version has.
@@krispykrb7081 Noted.
Far From Home has him now caught up now living up to stepping up while dealing with his guilt and insecurity of everything that happened in Infinity War and learning he works best being his own hero and learning to trust himself including taking Mysterio down using his spider sense and resourcefulness ( in a way Peter’s arc is very similar to Tobey’s arc in Spider-Man 2 - him trying to escape from the responsibility of being Spider-Man and live as Peter, winning MJ love but FFH has a more global story while being on high school vacation)
and No Way Home was a culmination of that arc and learning from other Spider-Men.
Spider-Man 1- Uncle Ben's Death, Peter's Fault
Spider-Man 2- Spider-Man is ruining Peter Parker's Life and that's causing his relationships to fail
Spider-Man 3- Ruins relationships he has when wearing the Black Suit and also made Venom
Amazing Spider-Man- He help create Lizard and Uncle Ben died again
Amazing Spider-Man 2- Gwen dies because he didn't keep Captain Stacy's promise
Then we have Homecoming, he gets detention.
"She's smart she's badass she's understanding she's-" not Captain Marvel.
EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES IS STILL THE BEST MARVEL COMICBOOK ANIMATED ADAPTATION TO THE SCREEN. X-MEN 97 IS ALSO COMING VERY CLOSE SO FAR SINCE SEASON 1.
Lore of Avengers Earth's Mightiest Hero's vs MCU momentum 100
Personally, I still prefer MCU Hawkeye over EMH Hawkeye.
Understandable, both are great 👍
It was not confirmed when Rhodey was replaced. Says nowhere that it was all the way back in Civil War. It can still be after Tony's funeral.
That’s my bad then since I was just basing off what I’ve seen from a video about it but I still don’t think it was handled very well.
Don't forget about the hulk vs movies
The point about characters not appearing or helping out in some movies (Thor 2, Winter Soldier etc...) compared to EHM is an unfair comparison. Number one
the movies are beholden to irl stuff. The actors have other projects they can be working or just not be available....this is not a problem in EHM
because it is animated. Plus EHM is AVENGERS cartoon...meaning it makes sense why most of the episode are about Avengers stopping threats and not
just a single hero...and even then..there are episodes that exclusively revolve around a single characters. Which brings me to the Hulk problem.
Hulk isn't done the best in the MCU I agree....but I don't think that is really the fault of the writters...more so the fact that Disney doesn't own
the complete rights to the character...so he wasn't able to have a solo movie post The Incredible Hulk....so his developemnt mostly occured during the Avengers movie...which isn't really ideal for such a complex character...like the Hulk.
He
is Tony's bad traits combined.
It isn't until he travels to 2013 and meets his mother AND finds out that he
is still worthy that he is able to overcome his pain.
Problem number four: Fisk. Ok...I originally did not want to bring him up as he isn't really important in the video...but I couldn't help myself. I never understood the argument that Fisk was somehow "ruined" in Hawkeye. He's exactly where I expected him to be after Daredevil Season 3, The Snap
and Clint's time as Ronin. He has to completely rebuild his empire from the ground up. He doesn't have the resources he did in Daredevil. He's desperate
and he feels threatened.
I mean...in Captain Marvel she is
brainwashed and gaslighted by the Kree to control herself and her emotions.
He
was a selfish prick that really wanted to join the Avengers...and pretty much simped for the human torch see this video: th-cam.com/video/k317mvnIapQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MImRkWfzwMeipouS
That's it...sorry for some errors.
If I made this video right after Endgame then Captain Marvel from EMH would win, I don’t have any knowledge about her in the Marvels so 🫡
Problem 7, This is very controversial to a lot of people and it’s totally understandable. Joshua Fine the supervising producer said EMH Spider-Man was intended to be Spectacular Spider-Man but Greg Weisman the creator of the show doesn’t believe he’s Spectacular Spider-Man. I think it’s completely head canon since nothing contradicts him being Spectacular apart from the voice and there being a second Vault (which I consider to be the Vault 1.0 and the one in EMH is the Vault 2.0). Me personally, I believe he is a version of Spectacular that’s gone through all the same stuff the main line version has and that also explains the voice change.
Sorry if anything came off as aggressive in this thread because it’s hard to convey what emotions you’re bringing through text lol but I do like your points and I’m glad we could chat about them 👍
That's a lot of words but I agree.
to be fair I think if you're counting spectacular spidermen and xmen evolution as expanding EMH's world, you should also be considering MCU tie-in shows when talking about how they expand the world too
That’s fair, I definitely should’ve spent more time on the MCU’s world, I did kinda gloss over it.
X-Men Evolution and Spectacular Spider-Man aren't part of the Yostverse.
Captain marvel did improve a lot in the Marvels. The movie wasn’t good per se, but it wasn’t unwatchable. She was a lot more of a person in that on
I’m glad to hear that, hope they keep making her a better character with each of her appearances that would be awesome
I’d luv to see a cartoon face off btw avengers emh vs justice league early to mid 2000’s
I really Love EMH
but
i gotta say most characters feel less natural in emh (the show tells us more about the characters than show us i feel )
and also they for the most part dont feel they are going in a direction and are not developing but simply sticking to the status quo
also i think that captain america in the mcu is way better
he has everything captain america has in emh but he also has way more depth and great character development and arcs
captain america in emh doesnt develop at all and doesnt really have all the depth of mcu cap
also i think that thor is also better in mcu
he might not be as consistent but he has way more development and depth and feels more like a person than emh thor
If there is something that EMH surpasses the MCU, it is that in the cartoon the world really needs the Avengers, while in the movies they are the cause of every problem there is.

The avengers don’t need to assemble in every film ecspecially in a heroes SOLO film because that’s not the point of the team the avengers are a last resort to face world ending threats. Having a the avengers in a heroes solo to hold their hand against their own arch enemies that takes the agency away from the heroes
