With CGI technology and the whole multiverse thing happening, Marvel Comic Book Fans could just make they’re own marvel cinematic universe that is more comic accurate to the source material. Hollywood will never be comic accurate. They only want to put things what they want. But you Y’know what? I say the hell with them! Let’s start a petition for an CGI cinematic Marvel Universe! Did they forget that Peter found Kraven’s super secret potion for super strength right after he got the symbiote? Did they forget that Peter straight up admitted that he couldn’t have beaten this super Lizard without the symbiote? Miles didn’t beat Peter, they just argued and threw each other around a bit while Miles zapped the suit and rang the bell to help Peter break free. If they were trying Miles would have tried to nuke Peter and Peter would have tried to strangle Miles. No one is really even wrong or at least that far off with their main points. Peter is nerfed in this game but it seems to be due to burnout, trauma and a lack of focus hence the whole theme of balance and moving on and needing to take a break which is a way of shaking off burnout. I didn’t like how they handled it either. Not a bad idea just rushed I feel. Plus, Peter was just fighting the whole game with not that much time to rest. The suit even wore his body while he slept so that wasn’t really rest either. Did bro even sleep for a whole night in this game? I can’t remember. This version of Spidey is over hyped when it comes to strength. There are way stronger versions of him that we’ve already seen that we just overlooked but whatever. And he is made weaker or his villains are made stronger to justify Peter and Miles relying on each other to save the day. As long as there are 2 main heroes, neither one can truly stand out like if there was just one in terms of strength. But yes the threats in this game are bigger than the first one. The devs said so and it’s obvious. They fought a sand castle the size of a New York sky scraper that generated storms like ghidorah… nuff said. Even if we never saw the potion it should have been clear that Kraven was stronger than the Kravens we are used to based on the way he big bro’d Scorpion who is usually depicted to be stronger than Spider-Man. It should have been clear when Kraven was in a tug of war with miles and somehow didn’t seem to be struggling. They tried to show us bro wasn’t human before they gave us evidence. I don’t like that one stab wound was enough to drop Parker either but considering who we’re dealing with I give this Peter a pass. Some Peters are pushing through maybe if the blade isn’t poisoned or didn’t hit the lungs but based on the ridiculous size of the blade, there’s no way it didn’t hit an internal organ. Correct me if I’m wrong on anything.
