I know the video is two years old. For us stealth performance owners this is a great video. For us we have to modify the boot CVf sends and have to buy a 3.5” intake coupler. Or buy the Titan 2. Also turbo smart has the plug and play ecoboost bov that just plugs into the stick wiring. You can easily remove 3 of the 4 shutters while your at it.
Now that you have the intercooler all you need is to upgrade the intake, do a wastegate mod to hold a little extra boost and a tune and you're good for 600 horsepower. That's literally all that Hennessy does.
This was just what I was looking for to upgrade our 2020 Navigator. I wanted a tune but wanted to do some upgrades before hand. Thanks forcthe video. Cant wait to do the mods.
I thought I was going to miss having a V8 when I went from a 5.6 V8 in a Nissan Titan to the 3.5 TT in the F150. I loooooooove the twin turbo V6! It’s my third turbocharged vehicle, first turbocharged truck. It scoots like I like it to and has ample torque. I can’t wait to start bumping the power.

I love this channel!! I just bought both parts from livernois for my 17 3.5 lariat can’t wai to install them after the dealership repairs the cam phasers, I’m praying it’s gonna run right , lol
I just ordered a 22' Expedition with the H.O. 3.5 and just showed your vid to my wife and asked if she wanted me to do this to her new truck and she said intercooler yes, blow off valve NO! She said it sounds like the truck is queefing.
It's quite different from the Raptor . The Raptor has a fan system and a shutter system in the grill that needs ur attention also . Point is its a much bigger job in the Raptor to change out the innercooler to a bigger one
We didn't. I am thinking about doing it on a different vehicle. We've got an aviator that I just put a CVF intercooler on and they are about to release the hot side pipes to go with the cold side. We have a video of the install on the aviator as well. Check the description for a link to their website and our 5% off discount code.
This was an older BOV that did not have an electric plug for the factory system. It thought it was unplugged or not working. While the light can be turned off by most tuners, the latest Turbosmart BOV's take care of this out of the box.
I don’t know, it is the 3.5 Ecoboost. I don’t see why they’d change it as it costs quite a bit to make the new parts to only use in some trucks. I’d say climb under and see if it’s this intercooler, if it is it should work. The blow off valve should also be the same
@Gene Slough, I’m not sure. They both start with the same 3.5 EcoBoost but I don’t think the Powerboost will be tunable for a while. I would wait and see who creates a power package and tune for the Powerboost and see what they recommend.
Just busted out my HPTuners on my Navigator and considering adding an upgraded Intercooler before Summer. Night and Day difference with a good tune on these 3.5 HO engines.
That King Ranch for sale? My dad wants a new truck; King Ranch, Plati, Limited or Navigator. He ordered a Bronco, but knowing him he won’t take it. He needs something more capable to tow his toys. It also doesn’t have massaging seats I don’t think he’ll like it. So he wants me to find an F150 or Navi
I was under the impression the factory intercooler was to good and cooled to much. That's why there are louvers in the grill to keep warm. There were several TSB on ths stock intercooler working to good.
Not sure about that. It's impossible to cool your turbo intake temperatures too much. The cooler the better. That's why forced induction cars are faster in the winter. As for the louvers they are actually for the radiator. They close in the winter to help the car warm up faster so the heat works sooner. They also keep the vehicle from cooling below optimal operating temperature in the winter. I don't see how that can be an issue in the summer though.
Inflation sucks. They're $600 these days. Maybe you can find a deal around the holidays. Here's a link to the intercooler. They make a new V2 model that is quite a bit more expensive. www.cvfab.com/products/cvf-titan-intercooler-2015-f-150-raptor-2-7l-3-5l-ecoboost
I know it won't be on just the behalf of me alone but please build this thing nobody else has the balls too no pun intended lol but it would be so great to see a built navigator outrun a fucking trackhawk, Durango, and or at least the supercharged Escalade it's time for the brothers to unite and kick some Mopar or bow tie ass 😂😂
That’s not gonna happen it’s just too big and heavy you will blow the engine up trying .You will need a built engine or a lighter pick up and even that wouldn’t be reliable long-term
It takes a tiny bit of ingenuity to remount the MAF sensor to the intake manifold. You'll probably need a different screw and some washers. Nothing a trip to the hardware store can't fix. On a Navigator you can use the same BOV as the F150.

So what were you doing for the bov in the top of the engine? Connecting something???

"Thumbs uppin and high fivin " cameo appearances by Mrs. Leah are the best.
"You gonna get AIR on you!" 🤣🤣🤣 reminds me of my first oil shower when I was 18.
You guys are a blast to watch. Keep up the good work👍👍
When he’s mounted the engine that should be a BRD calendar shot!
Another great, fun and very informative video from u guys. Thx for sharing. U r my kind of people.
Love me some EcoBoost........ Thanks for sharing

Man you look like Roger Clemons with that hair cut, feeling like you might strike out the whole team..lol. Great vid.
Another great video Have a Happy Thanksgiving
You should add a cold air intake also. Those turbos sound sweet spooling up
Does absolutely nothing, he was smart for not wasting his money.
@@JohnDiMartino neither does the BOV, it's all for the sound.
Thank you so much from Eric Fitzpatrick.
I didn't even know I was interested in this untill this video 👍now I need to see some Navi time slips!
When we get that tune we are gonna take Momma to the track!
@@BackroadDriver Perfect name for it! I'm definitely interested especially mph at the quarter mile just to see how she'll merge ya know 😎

Does this create extra noise in the cabin? Or still nice and quiet interior?

Awesome video.

When did the phasers go out?
@@americantrucknation4891 on my 17 F150 3.5EB I have had my cam phasers replaced twice. Most recent was about two months ago with the updated parts.
What is the ID / Length / Bend angle of that Silicone Hose at 14:46-14:57?
dude if you get it to 550+ you be awesome enjoy your thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving man!

Does the check engine light come on when you do this? I saw yours was on..

That’s awesome I have a 2018 navigator would it be the same set up and install as your 21? and where are y’all located ?
Hey guys, happy holidays. Will these products work on a 21 f150 powerboost?

Really good instructional video for everyone looking to diy tune up their 6 figure SUV lol
That's funny! Yeah, there's not that many modded navigators out there. It's the same process on any EcoBoost though. Thanks for watching, Josh!
So sick.
I need help finding this setup for my 2019 Lincoln MKC 2.3 EcoBoost. please help
What’s the difference between the bov that you put vs the other one with electronics? I saw there was a turbosmart with electronics. Thanks.
Upgrade turbos, coils, boosta pump, thermostat, and definitely a tune.
Happy Thanksgiving to the Mizer families!
I like those Mexican roads you always drive on😉. I drive them to work every week. Maybe I'll see you out there some time.

How the hell do you find a road (in Mexico) with zero traffic?
Patience lol!
Sounds bad ass
Where do we get that intercooler for $500+?

Any regrets getting the Navigator now that the 4door Bronco finally showed up and ultimately went to dad?
Couldn’t hear the blow off valve

Why the bov you lose potential boost pressure factory is a diverter valve for a reason. Also it’s a fucking navigator not a race car lol😂
Drive around town and the ricers hear that. Fast and the furious 21.
Might help if you jacked the vehicle up so you have more room to work😳
👍
I think the wife won’t mind the blow off. Just turn the radio up a bit more and you’ll never know.
That’s why she has Sirius XM right?
Lol
Lol but I love it
