I lucked out. When I ordered my 2022 refresh Silverado with the 5.3 it was when we had the chip shortage so when it came in it was without afm/dfm. V8 all the time. I love it
I purchased a range DFM/auto start stop disabler that attaches in front of the driver front wheel, behind the fender liner. Works amazing, can’t see it, leaves no codes for techs to find, and I can still use the OBD2 port.
I was thinking of getting this but I saw some reviews that said it messes up the blind spot sensors. Did you notice any of this? Also, does the pulsar have to be connected the whole time to keep the auto start/stop off as well as keeping the dfm off? Or can you turn off those features and unplug the pulsar?
The device has to always be connected to turn those off. This does not modify your ECM/PCM. It was designed that way so dealers can’t blame you for a warranty issue. Once uninstalled it leaves no traces. I have not noticed any problems with my sensors, but I will keep an eye out for that.
Edge Insight CTS3, plugs right into the OBD2 port, it’s basically a mountable OBD2 Port Scanner on steroids. I may try to do a more detailed overview of the monitor in the near future.
@ I did not know you could do this! On my jeep I had my stereo running off the obd but I had a splitter and I was running my Diablo through it also , thank you I’m gonna look in to this ! New subscriber, I’m new to the gm gang

Yes you are, I have a buddy that had the same thing happy when he bought his truck with the chip shortage.

You can’t beat the price for all the features you get.

Yes I have seen that one, unfortunately it’s only for the refresh models.
When is pulsar going to come out with a unit for the 2022.5 refresh and newer year trucks? (the ones with the full digital dash.)
They do offer this for the refresh models which disables AFM/DFM and disables Auto Stop/Start: imp.i128439.net/bO3Qk6

Is your ECM stock or did it have to be sent in to be modified/upgraded?
@ it is stock.
@ you only have to unlock your ECM if you want an actual tune, I may one day do that, but I am enjoying the pulsar LT for now.
Its gonna be one of my first "major" uogrades lol what is TMPD?
TPMS is your tire pressure monitor system.
Wait… I’m running the pulsar, but what screen is that ? I want to do this
