Thanks Angeline - I try to offer some ideas that people can do at home to help feel better (things I have tried and have found helpful). 😉 Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for sharing your time with me today! Peace, Aprille
Really love your videos. Thank you for being attentive to our health overall. It's not many videos out here where people are doing real healing. Bless💚
Awesome, so happy I discovered your channel. I instruct classes for Flexibly Challenged with a Yoga Coop in a high mountain community in. Colorado. Your sessions are just what I need & perfect for my students. Thank you & NAMASTE 🙏😀
Wonderful! I love the term Flexibly Challenged (so many of us really are) and Yin is definitely a great practice for those all of us who just need a little bit more time in a pose to really find our place for deepening. Thank you for joining me today and have a great weekend! Peace, Aprille
I kept thinking I heard the beautiful kitties running around; and kept looking up, expectant- but now wonder were they just playing out of view of the camera.. great practice; Aprille- thank you for sharing your radiant beauty ♡
Sometimes they run through and mock battle off camera or right under the lens - and they are quick as they fly through! Have a beautiful week Sam! Peace, Aprille
Thanks so much for this timely practice! With all the spring colds being passed around, nice to flush those organs!! Roasted Dandelion tea plus a little lemon works great for water retention as well❤️. Thanks again, Aprille
Welcome! It's definitely a good time to clear these out and I love roasted dandelion tea! Excellent for supporting the liver. Thank you and have a great weekend! Peace, Aprille 😌🙏💗
Great yin practice to begin my day. I am so happy to have found you here with your wonderful yoga to support me, this is a perfect one for this season. Have a beautiful week! Namaste xx
Thank you! Yes, it's the perfect time to think about preparing for the season change and to help support the body as it transitions. Glad you enjoyed it and have a fabulous week! 😊🙏💙 Peace, Aprille
Thank you so much for the practice. I I didn’t feel much resistance while doing it, but my energy has shifted so much after. I’m going to get some dandelion root tea ❤ my sweet pups name is Dandelion, so I think I have to! thank you for everything you do, Aprille 🌼✨
Thank you. I searched for yoga for this meridian because of an inexplicable foot injury. I'll keep incorporating this practice into my healing and will let you know what happens!
Absolutely loved that, thank you! I'm so glad I've found you Aprille, I am currently binging on your videos. I've been doing yoga for many years but Yin is new to me. Every time I do one of your sessions I seem to learn something new. I really appreciate the knowledge about the positions/poses that you impart too. Thank you! x
Thank you Kay! Welcome to the beauty of Yin Yoga and I am so happy to hear you are enjoying the practices. Please reach out if you have any questions and I look forward to seeing you on the mat again soon!
Dandelion is a great supplement, right? I sprinkle the powder in my tea every day just to support good liver function and my acupuncturist is very happy I added this to my diet! Thank you for joining me Sarah and have a great week! Peace, Aprille
Thank you angel! I'm on my 3rd/4 day ayurvedic cleanse so really enjoyed this to help facilitate the detoxing process!! Also been drinking tea with dandelion too 💚
You're so welcome! Dandelion tea is SUCH a great addition to detoxing (I use it quite often). Thank you for joining me today and have a great weekend! Peace, Aprille
This is a lovely practice! I've been doing the dry-brushing for a couple months and my skin feels great. Not nearly as dry, and moisturizer absorbs better. Thank you, Aprille.
Dry brushing is AMAZING, right? I do it now about 4-5 times a week and it's a powerful detoxifier and helps immunity as well. Thanks for joining me and have a wonderful weekend! Peace, Aprille

Thank you Aprille, I particularly liked the windscreen wiper tiwst with one leg over; it really got in there! I've been getting hot flushes and prefer to tackle it with yin yoga than herbal tablets as they are very expensive and I'm not sure whether they are safe and/or effective. Nameste xo
Isn't that a great stretch? One of my favorites! I hope you find practices that help with your hot flashes and if you find an acupuncturist - definitely try that as I can tell you mine has helped me with this and SO much more. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for joining me! Peace, Aprille
Hi, new to your channel and just love it! Is there a most healing time to practice a yin for the liver? If best during its active time of 1-3am, I’ll do it. Thank you
Hello and welcome to our community! While the liver time is indeed 1-3 am, that's more for when it is working at peak and restoring the body to balance. You can practice liver focused practices anytime and they will be just as effective so definitely get your sleep (important to allow your body this time to heal). Thank you for joining me and please let me know if you have any other questions! Peace, Aprille 😊🙏
The Yoga Ranger Studio with Aprille Walker thank you for writing me and welcoming me as well Aprille. That’s really kind of you and though I Was teasing about getting up between the Liver’s working hours, I totally would if that’s what it takes. I am all for the healing benefits of a restful digestful sleep however. I searched out Yin Liver detox since changing my diet I coincidently? Have had a few nights where there’s pain in my liver that wakes me up. Though a little sore to the touch right now, it feels calmer since doing all of your yin classes. So even more thanks to you!
Have you tried dandelion tea or adding beets to your diet? I use dandelion tea each month to help my liver function better by clearing out. It's pretty gentle. My acupuncturist highly recommended eating bests or taking beet powder to help boost liver function as well. I figure I can never do too much to help my liver! 😊
The Yoga Ranger Studio with Aprille Walker I SO agree with you Aprille, and thanks again! I seem intolerant to beets ( and know how good they are, darn it) though will brew up some dandelion tea right now! Cheers to our good health
I loved this. But I must admit---at first I felt a little emotionally uncomfortable doing sphinx with the mudra since I'm just used to palms down. I reminded myself that it being different was okay and quickly accepted and relaxed into this version of sphinx, even with the tipsy frog leg. But then I became physically uncomfortable---it seems that palms down allows for more weight to be on the hands, but this with palms up while holding the mudra seemed to put a lot of weight into the elbows and then the shoulders. So eventually I went to a regular palms down position. Am I just imagining that the elbows and shoulders had more pressure on them?
Thank you Ellen - I am glad you enjoyed this practice. Doing something differently than our normal routine can be quite challenging (physically and emotionally) but the yoga mat is the perfect place to explore this. Flipping the arms can engage different areas and you will feel different sensations in the positions (I often mix my own practice up with hands flat, hands up, palms together, etc.) but mostly in the lower arms. Try changing where your elbows are located - either out further in front or directly under your shoulders to find more grounding. You can also use a bolster or blanket under your chest in this pose to help take some weight off of the shoulders if needed. Weight should be pretty even from elbows to fingers regardless of what hand position you take. If the pose causes pain then change it but discomfort is quite normal in many yoga poses and does happen in Yin quite often. Dragon pose is a great example of this as it is very uncomfortable for many people but still useful in exploring stillness, emotions, and physicality all at once. Thanks for joining me and have a wonderful weekend! Peace, Aprille
I started this practice with kidney pains and ended without. Thank you 🙏🏿🙌🏿
