- Salutations Ladies and Gentlemen! Today, I'll be discussing a classic little lockback from the U.S.A. This piece is a discontinued model, which is unfortunate, as it is very utilitarian for such a small knife!
Based on the classic Buck 110, the Knight features a sturdy back-lock with a Drop-point blade made of 420HC steel. Nickel-silver bolsters, pins and liners compliment the lovely 'Dymondwood' (Resinwood) handle.
Very small, light and sleek, the 505 makes for an excellent EDC!
Made in 2012.

I call it the true Baby Buck! Love this knife!
A fair description, indeed!
Cheers!
Very cool. The 505 is a great knife!!
Cheers, Randy!
Nice fifth pocket carry. I love a small knife. Surprising what they can done.
Cheers mate 🫡
Absolutely! Who needs a sword to open a box, anyway?! 😅
Cheers, as always!
The buck 505 was the first knife I was able to legally purchase on my own about 20 years ago the week I turned 18, I carried it for almost 10 years then retired it to live the rest of its days in the safety and comfort of my desk drawer.
A nice story regarding this great, little piece. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers!
Oh wow, I never realized it was so small.
Love those covers.
Gorgeous.
Good stuff as always, mate👊🏻
It's certainly a lil' one! The covers really are nice, though.
Cheers, as always!
From the thumbnail I didn't expect this knife to be so small!. I guess even though the knife is small the proportions are correct so without another object for reference you can't tell the size! That said the knife is a cute little bugger.
I would've done a few comparisons, but didn't have any at the time!
This knife is the perfect example of "small knife, big utility". It may be tiny, but the blade shape, steel and grind make for a pretty tough little folder. Sure, I'd take a 110 for hunting...of course! But this would be more than enough for many EDC tasks.
Cheers!
Great video!!
Thank you! And thanks for stopping by!
Cheers, as always!
