And thank you for the shout out! Glad I could inspire you to do a video!
You are very welcome, my friend. And I thank you for the inspiration. Keep charging!
My buddies and I were trying to confirm the date on my Buck 505. Thanks to your video, it turns out mine is a 1986 as well. Very cool
I'm glad I was able to help you out. Thanks for watching my friend.
Thank you very much for all that info you provided for my friends 501 Tom! Thank you for sharing these great 505s. Nice compact carry! No wonder my case paste is on back order!🤣
You're welcome, BB. And yes, what's up with the Case Paste being so hard to find? lol. Thanks for dropping by, my friend.
So actually it's Sir Buck, since the 505 is a knight. Really handy small pocket knife for the little cutting tasks, but you still want a sturdy one. Thank you Sir Tom.
Man those Buck knives are just fantastic. Thanks Tom.
Thanks, Dean. Glad you enjoyed the Peek at them. Thanks for stopping by, my friend.
Hey Tom
Another great two for Tuesday video. Love those Bucks!
Thanks again brother and have a great day 🙏
You're welcome, brother! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for stopping by, and keep charging.
Very nice comparison as usual Tom You bring the history in so well
God bless
Thanks, Terrill. Glad you enjoy the history as well. I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
It was wonderful getting to see these two together, buddy. The Knight is a pattern that I don't have in my collection yet, but I want one! Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it, David. I'm sure you would like this knife. Thanks for watching, my friend.
Thanks for sharing about those dandy little Buck knives, seemed to polish up nicely with a little TLC. 👍Take care my friend and Cheers!
You are very welcome, ST. They are delightful knives, for sure. I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
Those 505's are very nice knives! They are a little small for my preference, I am a fan of large knives. Now the 500 Duke is perfect! It is basically a grown up 505 😊
They make great 5th pocket or office carry knives. If I carry a small one like this, I tend to have a bigger knife with me. Thanks for watching, LCK.
It's kind of funny but when I clicked on my notifications I thought this was a reply to my two for Tuesday. My first thought was what is he smoking today to think these would make a 5th pocket knife? Now the 505's will but not the ones I talked about 😂🤣😂@@knifedelights7473
Great looking knives! Nice job cleaning them up! We never get caught up on collecting!!!
You got that right, Mike. Always something more to get. I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
Hey Tom,
Another great 2FT 👍🏻
Should have known you’d be the one to come up with the information on Baxter’s Blades question 😀😎👍🏻
Those are two great examples of the 505.
As always great information about the history around these and other in the series.
Thanks for this one and have a great day brother 😎👍🏻
You're very welcome, Sean! It's nice to see that you enjoy cutlery history also. I have a lot of fun doing these videos. I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
I like the 500 series, I too have a White Knight. Wish they would have offered the white micarta handles on other models. Great video Thank You Stay Safe.
Thanks, Thomas. The white micarta made for very nice inlays. Thanks for stopping by, my friend.
I wish I could identify the types of wood as well you. I had no idea that was birch. Awesome video as usual!
Well, it's not that I can look at it and identify it. I peruse old catalogs and get the description from there. Thanks for watching, my friend!
These are very cool Tom! Thanks for sharing! Very similar to the Buck 55 sounds like. Can't wait to get mine back from Buck... I hope you are well!
Very similar but the 55 has a clip point blade. Thanks for watching, my friend.
ANother excellent Two for Tuesday, That case paste works great. I kind of like the steel bolsters more. Great video my friend!
Thanks, Randy! The steel bolsters give it a different look, don't they? I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
Very cool! Great video 👍
Thanks, Jeremy!
Sweet little knives. I have one of those 505 knives. My sister-n-law got one as a gift that also came with a pen. She was a secretary for the local labors union. It has "Laborers District Counsel" engraved in to the wood on one side and "Western Pennsylvania" engraved into the wood on the other side. Date code 505 T (2003). I just sent you an email with a picture of my Buck collection.
I just read your email. Fantastic collection there, Jeff! I'm sure you enjoy your 505. Thanks for stopping by, my friend.
@@knifedelights7473 cool! Oh yeah. It is a sweet little knife. Have you ever checked out one of those 863 selkirks or its little brother the 853 selkirk? Nice knives. You are very welcome my friend.
Great look at 2 great blades!! What do you have left to get in 700 series? Thanks for sharing!!
I recently got the 701, and did a video on it. I just received the 704, with script tang stamp, and will be doing a video on it soon. I already had the 703 and 709. The only one left is the 705. Thanks for watching, Big J. Keep charging, my friend.
