Small team? It's just 1 guy and a friend that did a bit of artwork... and the 1 guy was originally a modder for Kerbal Space Program, where he made his BDarmory weapon mod for.
My respect for bahamuto is massive, i use bdarmory for a ksp competition im in and its an amazing mod, picked up vtol vr yesterday and been loving it so far
Just discovered your channel from your recent Cities Skylines 2 video. Never would have thought I would find a VTOLVR review here. This is a top notch review for a top notch game.
YOu forgot the most important thing, that being it doesnt have dedicated multiplayer servers, which absolutely is killing the MP community because you cant be in a public game for more than 15 minutes with out the host quitting and its usually right when you are starting to really have fun.
You don't need to spend all that. 4080 and a modern CPU will eat this up. I'm playing it on a 3070ti and a 4790k, a 10yr old CPU. I could do with a bit more CPU.
The way I explain it is the games like Ace Combat are the Need for Speed Racing Games, then you have DCS which is equivalent to iRacing. And this game fits in right with Gran Turismo and Forza or it's just enough realism to keep you interested but not over the top to make every time you fly a pain in the rear or something like an event that you have to memorize the startups and firing systems in the radar systems I think you get the gist if you've ever tried to play dcs. Now somebody who plays DCS more than anything I have gravitated much more towards VTOL because I enjoy the experience I'm being able to share that flight time and experience with my friends who don't want to spend the time to learn DCS.
Vtol actually simulates radar noise alot better and more realistic, in dcs your rcs is static at all times whereas vtol calculates it based on the surfaces you are showing. Even though it really does not seem like it lmao
Thank you good sir. Someone else mentioned this to me after the recording so for sure I’ll make sure I do this next time. Super frustrating to those who haven’t played VTOL VR because my recording doesn’t do it not justice at all. Appreciate you sharing!
This the THE best VR-Game released to date (sorry Alyx) Multiplayer/Workshop/Editor It´s so easy to get into, yet hard to master So deep, and a fresh counter, to all the shallow VR-Games out there
Thank you kindly mate, appreciate it a lot. Videos are slower as I have an 10 week old baby but once I get through this tough patch I’ll be upping the quantity!
I hear great things about the series but I’ve yet to check it out. I actually have a full wealth of VR games in my library but I’m always worried by the quality of the recordings so this is certainly a test for the channel. If feedback is good I’ll definitely do more so appreciate the comment here!
Some VR content (skyrim, hitman 3) is very popular because you're in someone's pov and there's even hands for added expression. I also like your flatscreen vids though, so I'm happy either way.
The only real complaint I got bout this game is the pretty terrible tutorials which at least let me get off the ground and learn that way but something for the mischief and F-45 would've been amazing
@@cockneygamer Just a random suggestion but you could even do some Praydog UEVR mods. For instance you can actually play Manor Lords and Homeworld 3 in VR. Could be a fun rabbit hole.
@@cockneygamer brillaint, going above and beyond there mate!! im surprised this game flew under your radar since its all over the gaming news this past week
@haniffhussein not so much that it flew under the radar per se, but rather the investment in time in a game like that. I always like to put some solid hours into it before giving a final view but Palworld is so big that I wouldn’t be doing it justice! But fear not, I’m getting through. You played it much? Enjoying it so far?
@@cockneygamer havent put a single minute yet, hearing so much good word on it im not really sure what to made of the it yet. i guess thats where your review will come in!!
@haniffhussein I certainly have some thoughts! I was never really a Pokemon guy myself so perhaps that’s a little biased on my part, but I’ll make sure I mention that in the review! Hope to to have it done by the weekend!
I love this game but surprisingly I have fps drops with an RTX 4070 32 GB of ram and an i7 8700k I don't understand why I play all the other juices with ease, but this one is terrible for me

@@cockneygamer I think he means it's not a team, a team needs more than 1 guy.
He did say it was him and a mate of his so that’s two! :-)
@@cockneygamer "Doing a bit of artwork" really doesn't qualify as being part of the 'team' that made a game.

So glad you found more you like! And thank you for being brave enough to click more. More of the same to come soon, cheers
A stunning showcase of why VR is such a game changer. VTOL VR is one of the best.

Great point and to be fair to you, I never once mentioned multiplayer as I don’t play it myself. So well said mate.
Another quality game review, I remember playing this back back when it first came out, It's come a long way sing then.
This is my favourite vr game and my favourite flight sim all in one. Not enough gets made of the haptic feedback, very good.
you're an underrated channel.
Means the world to me mate, thank you for the kind words
VtolVR is the game thats gonna make me build a game pc and buy a vr headset again. VtolVR alone has me so hooked im gonna shell 3K out on a rig again

I'm absolutely fine with a laptop rtx 3070 myself. Maxed out frames, never chugs.

Love the comparisons with the games you used. Absolutely spot on in how you explain them!

Cockney you can make the video look better while streaming in the cockpit using the spectator camera to change the fov used for recordings

if this helps you can go to S-cam and use that as what we see
vtol is 10000 worth the money. its the easiest and smoothest port for the cheapest with zero mod
this was a really well done review thanks dude
You are most welcome mate. Always a pleasure when I get lovely comments like this.

Be great to see you in the skys! Another great recommend specifically for VR is ELITE Dangerous.
The very best! And I’ll be doing a video on that hopefully in the next 2 to 3 weeks as it’s my number one VR game. Thanks for the comment.
I love this game. Since the graphics are so basic I can run it well on my quest one hooked up to my dinosaur pc
VTOL VR is a passion project Indie game and it shows in the galactic quality
It’s a glorious glorious glorious game. I just wish I was good at it!

I've gotten angry at people for not wanting to try out this game. It's just the best VR experience there is. Truly something else this one.
It’s beautiful. I really hope they can get it to work on the next Quest as a standalone game.
would have liked to have watch after .45sec ... but that character you have adopted is too annoying :(
"A rig that can launch a satellite" lol Thanks for complementing my pc bro. we both blushed.
