I will be buying one in about 4 years , and I will allow other people to experience the issues
The Future is getting closer
Excellent truck would love to buy one.
There's nothing more awesome than off-roading in an EV. I snuck up on a bear with an F150 lightning (noisemaker disconnected). Amazing! Throw some solar panels on the roof and you can tell the saudis and russians to stuff it with their oil price fixing!
So, I use my truck mostly for hauling things for expedited deliveries, backup generator for bad storms, little off-roading, & as a small camper. My truck is a 2002 Humvee with a box top, I paid 12k for it and installed a battery bank/solar system with an inverter, this costed around 3k in total. We need simpler barebone trucks on the market that's actually affordable & usable, not a plush pretty truck costing upwards of 70k with over 600hp.
You’re all set 👍🏾.
@@briandonald Fr, Im hoping at some point in the future a company release a barebones hybrid pickup but I highly doubt that's going to happen, the bollinger b2 was the closes thing I've seen but it's insane that it cost over 100k because they're using an overpowered 600hp motor in it, that truck should be at 25-30k at the most and it definitely don't need a 600hp motor.
The motors barely cost anything.
@@freddybell8328Well, its not only the motor that make it so expensive, its the battery pack to maintain 600hp is what it really get the cost up
It will probably be many years yet before any EV truck has the towing range that people expect. The manufacturers are refocusing now on hybrid vehicles. That will likely take a while to develop as well.
NACS (SAE J3400) Charger?
I am really looking forward to buying one if it has an NACS (SAE J3400) charger instead of the CCS. Is there any updates on this yet?
I’m intrigued but the upcoming Ram Charger would be the one I would get.
When is the order date?!! Very cool. Definitely best in class
American engineers are the Best in the World 🌎 Hi from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬
I say this brand new ram truck is great as the gmc hummer ev
Well it will be the same price. 😂
This truck will be more
Expensive than the hummer. The battery size for 500 mile range is insane. 🤯 💴
I'll consider it when it has NACS.
It has NACS, all Stellantis vehicles will starting 2024 and this is a 2025 model.
I hope they have different grill options by level, the Tungsten grill is so elegant and muscular at the same time. Having the same front end as the lower trims would be a shame.
With 14,000 of towing and 2,700lbs of payload will it be able to accommodate 5th wheels? Similar number to my 2012 ram Cummings 3/4 ton...
you mean "Cummins"?
This one rivals the lightning in terms of being a good looking truck.
On the fence between this and the ram charger. It really boils down to which one will offer a Rebel style trim first. Front bench would also be nice with the flat floor of an EV, but I know current rebel trim excludes front bench
As an owner of a 2018 Ram 1500 for the past four years, my experience has been far from pleasant. I've spent a minimum of six months at the dealership dealing with persistent electronic issues, an engine replacement at 72k miles, and a transmission failure at 84k miles. The new Ram's reliability simply doesn't justify the time and money invested. Beyond the initial cost of $50k, I've shelled out an additional $25k on repairs. It's safe to say that the new Ram 1500's reliability isn't worth the time or money. @Ram @RamTruck
0:35 Stiffer😂
If you buy a ford, you will have your own stiffie. .
build to serve ?
i hope you do
I paid my deposit for #CyberTruck on first day but I love #RAM1500REV over #CyberTruck now !!!
Cancel the deposit... Cyber truck probably won't come out for another 8 years!
At least the v8 will be available used for some years...
What's that cylinder up front for?
To store farts on long trips
Coolant reservoir I imagine.
My guess is for the air suspension
If I was Ram, I would back out ASAP watching the Ford Lightning fail.
RAM is a good company, but EV is just aint right for the brand nor it's clientele.
Trucks are wild beasts and roaring beasts are not little kittens who do little because they don't even make a sound. Keep it authentic keep it alive.
Trucks are actually automobiles
@@user-fi9mn5im8m And Smart and HUMMER and MUSTANG and Lamborgini are automobiles, so which your point??
All I can say is this…I’ve been waiting for an EV pickup that could actually keep the promise of a 14,000 lb towing capacity. I have a 14k dunp trailer and tow a flatbed with a tractor for the business…and sometimes use every lb. Every single truck that has promised it has disappointed when actually released….Ford, Chevy, Rivian and Tesla. But if this does what they claim then I’ll be replacing three vehicles, including a 19 Ram 2500 diesel, with it. Don’t disappoint me.
Badass truck, only problem is dodge(ram) and electronics DO NOT MIX. I am a dodge guy, but you guys have struggled with simple stereo electronics, not to mention a ton of other electrical issues plaguing dodge. Only way i would get this is on a Lease, so you have to deal with all the electrical problems this thing is destined to have. Sorry, this is one dodge i am staying away from for a long time.
Hi @doubledees6714, we are sorry to hear your feel this way. Please send us a private message through Facebook or Instagram if you are currently experiencing vehicle concerns. We would be happy to help. ^BC
Way better than v8, finally! 😊
get nacs on board
Yeah I canceled my order after I saw how uncool it looks. Totally not what the concept suggested.
RAM totally used the easy and lazy way
100%, doesn't look anything near the concept which looked awesome.
Drive train to low and no one has the 90-120k for this schit LGB.
Rather have the cybertruck
Vaya eso si que apesta lo siento prefiero un motor diésel ⛽️ que un auto de juguete que además se descompone cada año
And yall are killing the RAM TRX for this BULLSHIT
TRX is the BS one, dropping a 6.2 hellcat to every single vehicle from Stellantis does nothing to improve your sales or brand name. It shows you're clueless and has no new tricks to impress buyers. It's a niche market anyway. That truck needs refueling every day or two, very impractical. What's the sales figure of TRX? I wouldn't bother.
Sorry wont buy it! Give me gas power
They already offer that
Merge back to dodge
Get rid of theses evs nobody wants them
