Absolute best way to cook large shrimps: poach them (no boiling) in ghee with minced garlic (or asafoetida) and a squeeze of lemon juice. They cook in 5 minutes and stay very tender. Serve on basmati.

I think you mean boiled shrimp... not raw. It is very rare to eat raw shrimp, only in some forms of sushi that are prepared with the care that dish would require.
soy sauce would have to be of halal variety. the traditional method to make soy sauce makes a small percentage naturally alcoholic which makes it a haram substance.

I understand there’s a minuscule budget but have to get away from serving tomato sauce with every dish. Understand it’s a “western thing”with a western influence but sometimes it’s horrific to see what should be a new experience spoiled. Good to see the mayo for a change though but tartare is the way to go. yes goat brains are eaten in parts of the world. usually they are ground up and seasoned then fried so no one recognizes what they are eaten
we eat grilled chicken heads in the philippines. you eat the meat around it and once its just the skull left, you crack it open to eat the brain.
