      Pretty sure that's not a lady. I think I saw something about them having a transgendered come on the show, and I think that's "her". And also, the name 'Sheila', is usually spelled with an 'I' in it, not 'Shela'. Which I think might be another hint to their true nature. Like their name is a pun, of sorts.

    • @JarodMoonchild1975
      @JarodMoonchild1975 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      To answer all of you, here's my attempt at that. Most of you, missed my point about the name being a pun of sorts. Secondly, I found the video where they mentioned it in the comments, and I have a screenshot of that. Thirdly, how I view someone, or the world for that matter, is my business, and I wasn't trying to be rude in any way about it, and yet make my opinion clear, something which is difficult to do these days, with the "PC" world we have now. And if these people have the right to be different, I should have the right to view them as I do, and not conform to a ridiculous idea, just because the powers that be, made it so. So, respectfully, @Taimoor Khan, we have to agree to disagree. And like @myahoff said, which I hadn't noticed, they have an ADAM's apple, and where does that name come from again, anyone know/remember that? And when I use the term lady or woman, I'm referring to a natural born female. And that's not me being hateful, but just a biological fact. But if any of you wanna attack me for having a different opinion, then go right ahead. Because there are something like 38 genders now, despite there only being two, biologically speaking, male or female. And also, I'm well past 40, and closing in on 50, so that means I grew up in a time when reality was the norm, and not this crazy version we are presented with now. And I don't mind the term transgendered, because at least that's honest, and gives an accurate description of what we're talking about. And lastly, I didn't want to get all political about this, and that's why my initial comment was as limited as much as I could make it, because I didn't want to ruffle anyone's feathers. And yet here we are, because at least one person here, felt the need to "set me straight" on my opinion. Now turn that over to any other opinion, let's say it was something about food. Would you "correct" me, if I didn't like pizza, and you do? Because it's just a matter of taste, and an opinion to boot. Yet we're supposed to conform to an idea or practice, that we neither agree with, or even believe in, because the world has decided that we should? I'm sorry, but I cant, or won't do that. It goes against my very being to do so. And maybe this is not the case for everyone reading this, but I live in a western country, and it's still a free country. We have the freedom of speech, but there are limits to what you can say, depending on how it's said. But in freedom of speech, the concept of freedom of thought is also included, alongside with freedom of religion, freedom to choose who to vote for, or to not vote at all. And many other freedoms, that many countries have only in name. And until they change it into a law, I have the right to disagree with that line of thinking. So I choose to make a stand for reality, sanity, biology, and truth. And if anyone has a problem with that, I suggest you take it up with God, because I won't bother listening to this craziness, but he might. And I have a right to do so. And to those of you who didn't come at me in that manner, thank you for that, and sorry if this offends you, because that's not my intention at all. But I wanna be perfectly clear about my stance, and that in itself, shouldn't be labeled as hate, even IF someone is offended. I'm offended almost on a daily basis, but it's a part of life, and you gotta learn to roll with the punches. And it's also fine to be offended, it's not gonna kill you, lol. And although I'm often offended, maybe I'm not offended by the same things as most people, unless it makes perfect sense, of course. But I'm not EASILY offended, and mostly, I can give as good as I get. And what that means in other words, while I get offended often, it's more about how the world is now, than what a single individual said, as a general rule. But, as with everything in life, there are exceptions to every rule, and depending on what and how it was said, specifically. And right now, there might even be someone reading this, offended by how long it is, to give you an example. But then why did you click on the 'Read more' "button"? 🤣🤣🤣

    there were two methods of making peanut butter. one as noted using roasted the other using boiled. the boiled was in the us but today most peanut butter is done using roasted peanuts.
    the real interesting fact is that in both cases peanut butter was made so people could get nutrients such as protein a lot easier. either because the person was elderly and hence chewing meat was difficult or because the person for one reason or another had lost a number of teeth and hence chewing was not able to occur.
    for this reason peanut butter at one point was an expensive specialty health food until mass production came along making it very cheap to the point even the poorest people could buy it. its actually pretty healthy and doesn't go bad without refrigeration for up to a year as long as it keep away from high heat and the cap is on when it isn't being used. This is because no bacteria is in the peanut butter due to the cooking method.

      @@thetribalshow7664 the peanut butter and jelly sandwich or if you want to use jam or preserves, has a very short history. about the early 20th century in fact and it was at first a food served at clubs to the rich since peanut butter, spreadable fruit as well as bread were expensive food items.
      mass production of peanut butter, automatic bread slicing machine coming into use and then more growing of fruit and production of fruit spreads (since with bread becoming more cheap, there was a need to put stuff on the bread) made the pb&j sandwich something that any american could eat. it became something a school or military could serve to hundreds to thousands of people that was cheap and delicious as well as filling. it is also something that children could make by themselves or for their younger siblings since a dinner knife doesn't have a sharp point or a spoon can be used.

    Jelly and Jam despite what the UK thinks are two different things.
    'To put it simply:
    Jam is mashed up fruit usually minus seeds that is cooked so it can be stored in glass jars for a period of time , traditionally so one could have fruit in the winter months after it had been stored.
    Jelly is the fruit juice that due to a naturally occurring substance in fruit enables it to thicken to a semi solid state when cooked. also stored traditionally in glass containers for winter use. it is typically sweeter then jam.
    Preserves are entire fruit chunks often with seeds that are also cooked and stored traditionally for the winter months. taste as well as texture is also different then jam or jelly plus harder to spread.

      Agreed with most of their comments. Peanut butter on its own is only "okay." But, somehow, with jam/jelly, it is so much better! the jam and peanut butter kind of mix a bit, and the jam has I think a little bit of water in it that helps a little bit with the "stickiness" of the peanut butter...
      But, yeah. We love these sandwiches and they're super simple to make and they pack/keep well for school lunches, etc., since the peanut butter doesn't really spoil easily.

      I find the notion that someone could be personally offended by another person saying bad things about a food, unless they had personally cooked it for them, absolutely ridiculous. There's having manners and being polite to someone giving you food, but how can you get offended just because the recipe originated in your country. I'd like to see one example of someone being rude about a food and then saying that the country it came from is bad because of it. You must have such boring lives if you need to invent drama and offense where there is none. Try taking up a hobby.

    introducing peanut butter to people who have never even seen it... what if they are allergic?

    • @MGmirkin
      @MGmirkin 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If they've never seen it, or their body has never been exposed to it (peanut/proteins), seems like the likelihood of being allergic to it would be fairly low? No?
      IE, the body has to have been exposed to it at some point in order to develop antibodies to react to it, no?
      Though, I hear it can be a fairly allergenic item, so, perhaps caution is warranted should they at some point BECOME allergic?

    • @toomanyaccounts
      @toomanyaccounts 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      how does one know if they are allergic if they aren't exposed to it or tested for it? they knew what peanut tasted like.

      Usually first time a person eats something they don't have a reaction. It's the second time thats more dangerous. But some of them were familiar with peanuts so this one should be fine.

      Can go on any kind of bread. Bread is bread. It's basically just carbohydrates. Also, it's how most poor families in America eat it. Cheap white bread ("wonder bread," etc.), cheap peanut butter & jelly. So, it's pretty authentic. ^_^
