Great plans and so good to shop your stash. The fabric your mum gave you is lovely and vintage Vogue patterns are timeless. I think Amelia Ellen Sews showed her Solar tee in a very recent video. Both she and Sew Amelia are fabulous sewers and I love their channels so it’s nice to connect them here and follow all three of you from NZ. 😀
I love your creativity! And I do love the inspirations we acquire from this lovely sewing community. Your plans and ideas and critiques are so valuable and that really does make this community so valuable.. Thank you! x
The Sausalito by Styla is very similar to the solar tee. They are having a big sale right now. And they have the same pattern in kids so you can match your daughter.
I’ve been trying to sew from my stash as well. I made a huge mistake by telling one of my sisters that I would make her a jacket and it’s going slowly. I am driving myself crazy with it. I’m almost finished. Thank goodness!
WOOOHOOOOO I love a redemption garment, I love that you didn't get discouraged and made the henley again, it looks great, and I'm sure you'll get a lot of wear out of it. Also, gorgeous fabric, the snakeskin abstract print on that cotton is gorgeous and I'm jealous of that drape!! I hope you have fun with your upcoming makes :)
Yes but use the small pattern on the collar and hem the sleeves but not n the bottom or it would spoil the flow of a dress pattern (flow as in sameness ) ?

Thanks for watching. I really want to make a big dent in my stash and sew all the things 😆
I love all your plans! I’ve also had my eye on Sashiko and even ordered a couple of patterns. I just want to add some to a blouse.
There are some beautiful designs, it's a very relaxing process 😊

Thank you so much, that's very kind of you 😊

Thanks, I've never heard of Styla before so will take a look.

I know exactly what you mean, makes for other people take ages. Making a jacket is very kind of you, I'm sure she will treasure it
The Itch to Stitch Uvita is a free drop shoulder top that is easy to modify and sew - great size range too.
That's so much, I'll take a look

Yes, we will not be beaten 😂 There are a lot of makes on my list, not sure how many I'll get round to!
