What a great review 🎉 was thinking of getting the nemo hornet, you have convinced me this is the tent for me! Thank you 😂😂
Thank u for great video .. I have this tent and your explanation and video makes setting it up so much easier
My pleasure
Recently got caught in a rain storm, the fast fly set up worked liked a charm, so far very satisfied with it
The fast fly option is absolutely wonderful for rainy situation’s then you and your stuff doesn’t have to get all wet. Trying to set it up. Glad you’re enjoying it.
Excellent in depth review. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
Excellent, thanks for taking the time.
My Pleasure!
I recently purchased this tent but have yet to set it up. Thanks for the review and setup, should help.
The way I set it up in the video isn’t the easiest way to set it up, it’s the way you would set it up in a pouring rain. I think you’ll really like the tent. Let me know how it goes.
Excellent video, thank you

Great video! How did you get the floor to be so taut? I always have two big creases from the bottom center pole that angle out on the sides. I’ve tried moving the stakes but can’t figure out how to get rid of the creases.
You need to pull the corners out, and then take that single pole in the foot area and bring it in close to the tent body so it doesn't stretch out the front center. that should solve your problem. Feel free to ask me more questions if you need help.
Thanks for the review, really appreciate seeing it set up fly first! I’m from the UK so get a lot of wet and wind! How do you think it stands up compared to the mountain Hardwear stratos 2? Also your filming is great and I like the animations.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I can’t tell you how it compares to the mountain hardware Stratos 2 because I have never had one. I can tell you that I believe this would be a good choice for your conditions. It is rocksolid and if you put up the extra guy lines, I feel like this tent would hold up to your winds very well. It’s very sturdy yet flexes in a good way And I haven’t had any issues with it yet. I hope this helps!
Something to consider, the Copper spur is a fully freestanding tent, and would give you even a little more protection from the winds. It is nearly identical inside as far as size goes. It has a small weight penalty for the extra hole at the foot. Just something to consider.
Thx for the Video👌
What are you’re experiences with the water durability of the groundmaterial?
Did you get moisture on the floor or anything when putting it on the WET ground?
Works very well no moisture issues.
Great video. Would you consider this your “go-to” non trekking pole 2p tent?
This is my go to non-trekking pole tent. I do have to say you will see me using other tents, but this channel is about backpacking gear, so I use and try out many other tents.
@@BackpackingGearNut perfect! I was trying to see what you use when the camera is off. I think I’m buying this one!
Good price, good weight and I feel like it’s got the most space inside it for its floor plan.
And comes in Friday night alcoholic pee color too. And it's not OCD it's CDO because it's in alphabetic order.
😀
