    Wicked climb up 15:00 onward.
Think I enjoyed this because neither of us is up to it any more due to age. Don't mind admitting it.
So funny - some of the crack.
    Well done guys. ⭐😍 👍

Brilliant mate. You're just about to reach Crib Goch ridge, and that weather looks ok. Watching from a hotel room in Chichester and the rain outside is brutal! Crib Goch looks ok... Avoided it for years now. Must get back some day. Thanks for the reminder. Oh and how bloody much for the car park? Ridiculous.

That third pinnacle.. always gets the heart going. Nice watching it from that view. Scary in the mist, as I know what the drop looks like without it. Most dangerous bit IMO

Nice one Chris appreciate it mate. The weather looked to be lifting at first but soon came back down 😂 It was a great adventure and so glad I’ve done it. The car park is a rip off, you have to pre book it too 🤦‍♀️

@@chrishomer I’d watch a few vids so know the drop on that third pinnacle and agree it’s the worst part, thanks again for watching 👍

Some great intrepid adventurers there for sure. Not sure if I would have kept going or not, but having a good group can certainly help to keep one motivated. Just would be leery of my footing. Just epic! Bruce and Otis

Brought back many a nightmare that Phil. You could hear it in everyone's voice that its a tester, I was 5p-50p the whole time on that beast in similar conditions but it was October! I found when the cloud was in it was better as you could not see the drop 🥶. I have the upmost respect for anyone that gets across that. Well done to you and the boy's 👏

It’s certainly a route that requires respect Neil, it’s a tough day out isn’t it. The low cloud probably helped us with the younger ones as you say they couldn’t see the drop lol. Hope you don’t have too many nightmares and a big thanks for watching mate 👍

Well done Phil. Im not sure which is worse: not being able to see the perilous drops through the murk, but knowing they are there, or, being able to see the drop off! Either way, I dont think I'll be finding out anytime soon!
Well done for tackling it. Especially in those conditions 👍

I'm far too clumsy to do that route! But at least it was quieter due to the weather. Definitely an adventure had. Imagine paying for the train up and down and getting nowt but clag you'd be gutted. Suppose 30 to get back down is tempting if your knees are knacked. Another great one Phil! But imagine just how bad the weather would be if Tony came too... 😉

    • @R6PhilOutdoorEnthusiast
      @R6PhilOutdoorEnthusiast  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Haha I’d never thought of that, if Tony had been there we would have had a hurricane lol. The train needs to be pre booked and the next availability was 24th August so was a long wait 😂😂 It was a great day out all the same, thanks for watching Phil, appreciate it 👍

@@R6PhilOutdoorEnthusiast I'm off to Wales next weekend and taking the Watkin path most likely. We looked into the train for the kids but yeah book ahead and not cheap. But they'd make a killing offering trips back I bet

Your normal summer weather I see and your workmates must have been mad asking you to take them over Crib Goch :o) To be honest, I think I would have stuck on the PYG track in that weather but well done of braving it over the ridge in those conditions. I think I would have been hugging that face as well and I am not sure the fact you did not have a view (so could not see the drop) was a plus or a minus....but good you all got over without incident. You got the same weather as me when I got the the summit of Snowdon, although I did it the easy (and boring) was and I was also surprised by a café at the top too! poor Wayne getting the blame but have to say I had to admire the optimism of the some of the ones you passed who were going up when you were on the way down, in shorts, baseball cap and trainers....LOL! Cheers Alan

Haha ye we were thinking the same watching the idiots going up at 3pm. Everyone did ok but the young ones smashed it considering the weather. The cakes a great place to head to on a bad day, nice brew before heading down. Thanks very much for watching Alan 👍

The day was chosen a few weeks prior and couldn’t be moved we did check the mountain forecast and MWIS both didn’t give this forecast. We made the decision together and took our time, we had no issues negotiating the ridge 👍 Thanks for watching ATB Phil
