Please consider not giving too many details of your pitch. That spot is getting a hammering and I've rebuilt that wall so many times. Too many numpties watch YT and trash where they pitch. Leave no trace had no meaning to them. I do appreciate that this is a while ago and you might not any more.
@@Life-Outdoors-UK cheers, can’t say I gave too many details to the pitch. I’ve camped there once and have this one video of Pendle Hill. I know of other TH-camrs who have camped there numerous times and guessing it’s their influence on others camping there, maybe yours too? That said good on you in trying to keep the places we love clean and tidy, thanks for watching ATB and have a great Christmas 👍
Very nice. Hope you are well!
@@stigfloberghagenphotography cheers, ye all good now thanks 👍
Great video and edit. Top job
@@PaulGreenVlog nice one Paul, thanks very much for watching 👍
How fun does this look? Love the feeling of those long flowing winding downhill sections through the trees. Don't think I'd risk it now, but might have to dig out my old videos.
@@chrishomer I’m the same Chris, did some mad stuff back in the day 🤘 cheers for watching mate 👍
Great views and guide to getting there. However completely irresponsible flying a drone in an area where you just showed low level jets!!
@@simondonaldson9262 cheers and thanks for watching, however the drone wasn’t flown anywhere near where the jets would fly as I stayed close into the crags 👍
That is the most Artistic, superbly thought out video we've ever seen! Superb effort. Being an former Lake District Diver, we all know about this. To anyone listening to Phil. His numbers and info are precise. Good on you Phil. Your A&E report is shocking. Thank god your still with us man. Good advise about - if anyone "feels like" a blanket has been pulled over themselves - get checked out if you can get an appointment! Have a great weekend Phil and all. We have your channelon our "Explorers" line up below our Binge Watch vids. Stay safe and one day we might spot each other out there. 🤝👍😊
@@AdventuresandLifestyle thank you so much, really appreciate it. Yes a PFO for divers is not good is it…. It’s been a tough few month but hopefully it’s behind me. Thanks very much for watching ATB Phil 👍
I love a crunchie I do pal. Sorry to hear the issues you have had but glad all is good with you. I am a new sub as I was looking at the Helm 1 as a upgrade for my bobcat 1 as it's just not big enough but that helm seems a great step up. More to the point where you can't in it few vids back last year is my stomping ground, I love it up there in the Bowland Fells. Maybe take the new wife to Paddy's for the honeymoon😂 . Off to outdoor action it is, looks better tent than the 3f UL taiji 1 . ATB mate
@@andrewstennett3186 hi Andrew, thanks for watching mate and the sub. The Helm 1 is by far the best bang for buck tent for the money, love mine. I like that you can stash the stuff you don’t need in the back out the way. I’m not sure the wife would like a trip on paddy’s pole tho 😂. Enjoy the tent if you get one 👍
Blimey Phil, you just don't know what's round the corner. You're one of the lucky ones though. You're still alive and kicking. Good to see you're getting you're fitness levels back too. My mate like you had a similar experience. He ended up in A & E. They sent him home with some paracetamol telling him he was being over anxious. The next day he was going upstairs and blacked out . He ended up in hospital. He had scans and was told he'd had two strokes, too. He, too, is lucky. He's back on his feet and walking and talking okay. Anyway, I'm glad to see you out and about again. Keep on smiling.
@@davidburgess9058 hi David, that terrible mate, glad he’s feeling kind of better now. I’ve no idea what’s happening with the NHS, it’s on its arse and care more on saving money than lives…. Thanks for watching mate 👍

I'll be honest Phil, crunchies are horrible. Sorry but there it is. Seriously though, it's crazy that A&E turned you away like that, could've had much bigger implications on you than it did. Really glad you're ok, and what a great silver lining about the running! (I also get really bad calf/shin pain when I try to run, it's the original reason I turned to cycling, I'm worried now) I also agree with the way YT and clickbait titles is going, becoming a joke.
@@davetay44 hello David, cheers mate, crunchies are the best 😂 It’s why I turned to cycling too mate, spent over 25years trying to run with no joy until now 👍 I was disappointed with how they treated me TBH and after reading some of the comments on here I’m not the only one, they need to get it sorted quickly. Thanks for watching mate 👍

My brother found out that he had a hole in his heart when he had a TIA. Also my dad got sent home from A&E even though he had slurred speech and had a tremor and he’d had 2 previous strokes only to find out from MRI that he had another one. It’s madness. I’m glad you’re on the mend and looking forward to following your adventures. Wish you well in your recovery and enjoy the honeymoon!!
@@sallytrippass4700 thanks Sally, that’s terrible. I’ve no idea what is happening with the NHS, it’s like it being run like a business, more focus on saving money not lives. I just glad it was eventually diagnosed for your family members. Thank you for watching ATB 👍

Mate I watched this yesterday and wanted to leave a comment but didn’t know what to say. Still don’t, really. Shocked to be honest. One thing for certain is that I’m going in to see my GP about something I’ve put off for months early this week. You’ve convinced me. So thanks, just a precaution hopefully. You made me laugh with the TH-cam cringe. Some bad offenders here in the outdoors niche. Hilarious many of them, in a bad way. Often with tens of thousands or now hundred thousand or so subscribers and lots of engagement from their fake personalities. But each to their own. Fair play to them in a way. If that’s what they want to do. Lastly. You’re an inspiration. Dealing with all that, and then cracking on doing what you enjoy and smashing out the running. Fair play mate.
@@chrishomer Chris, thank you very much mate. I just hope your check up goes well and it’s not something sinister, so fingers crossed for you 🤞 The TH-cam thing is terrible, they are all trying to outdo each other instead of supporting each other, mad really as we all enjoy the same hobbies. I'm glad you are doing well considering. Click baity stuff, I don't even click on and unsubscribe if it becomes regular. The doctor's decisions mystify me at times. One personal to me, I hurt my neck and could put my hands in boiling water and not feel it. They basically said there was nothing wrong. When I pointed out the lack of feeling, they shrugged their shoulders and walked off. I started to visit an osteopath to crack my neck. Around 35 years later, I was getting physio on a shoulder injury, they said "I see you've broken your neck". Going private 17 years ago, I was offered an operation but it was too dangerous so possibly wouldn't have changed much but I wouldn't have had my neck cracked.
@@Life-Outdoors-UK that’s terrible mate, just within these comments that makes three of us who have been treated wrong, just imagine how many others there are.
