Smelly Air Conditioning?

Here's a quick tip for ANY vehicle owner to refresh their A/C Air conditioning.
Moisture in the A/C system can cause mold mildew and bacteria to grow! Get rid of the sour smell in your car. This method works great and smells even better!
I show how to do it with a 2018 Ford F-150.

This is GOLD ... Candidly, I never NEVER thought of doing this through the cabin air filter inlet while the blower was running ... GOLD !!!

I have a very similar issue. My system smells like vinegar intermittently. It comes and goes and is super bad for my sinuses. It never occurs when FORD experts ;) look at it. On one visit they ran an ozone machine through the air filter box for at least 4 hours. Still came back right after. It's bad enough that I want to sell my 150 diesel lariat, which I love.

I hear ya! Not selling mine though. It helps to switch to fresh from recurculate for a bit before you turn off the truck.

Why does nobody ever mention critters, mice and rodents making nests up in your vents and engine. That causes AC to stink too.

All good still. It helps to switch from recirculate to fresh after running for a while. It takes moisture out of the system. Thanks for watching.
