Tritt dropped the ball by asking this version of the band to do the video and starting a reunion of the most arrogant, money-grubbing, drug-doing, hotel-wrecking version of the Eagles that ever existed. In 1994 we could have had an original Eagles reunion but we lost. Now Glenn is dead and Randy is at death's door himself. From the time they died in 1975, the original Eagles never got back together; mostly because of the arrogance of Henley and Frey. This video didn't help. Sorry to be a curmudgeon, but no one else in this comments section seems to understand who or what the Eagles really were so I'll be glad to post it here and critique their lack of knowledge of music history.

Tritt is pretty good but the Eagles were Awesome! This version can’t hold a candle to the original. Eagles had legendary harmonies that weren’t studio enhanced.. just as amazing live 💯

All this, while that one group always seemed to be ringing in my ear. Desperado. Peaceful, Easy Feeling and I Can't Tell You Why... The memories will linger for a lifetime. Thank you for that.

Travis Tritt does an excellent job singing this great Eagles song, and I give him lots of credit for helping bring the Eagles back together and making some great music once again

I have watched History of the Eagles; which is excellent by the way...three times. I just don’t get tired of it. Great documentary of the group; all the members are in it. So glad they got back together. Just disappointed we did not get to see them.

I'm a big fan of the eagles but it was a great spin on having all the country western singers do it take on all the eagles songs I thought it was kind of cool and how Travis tritt the remake of the song take it easy and how he brought the eagles back together I actually calling Don Henley and also calling Glenn Frey a nail both those guys agreed so that's how the video came about and within a year later the eagles went back on tour because before then the eagles were not together for 14 years

Saw Travis up close at the Full Throttle Saloon out in Sturgis in 2018. GREAT show, great attitude, great guy!
