Beautiful jacket! Now she can enjoy it all the time! Thanks for the tutorial. I’ve made a few baby quilts with rounded corners. I think the binding is so easy. 🌸🧵👏👏
Hello that was a beautiful jacket made from her Great Grandmother's quilt. Also I loved the way you showed how to make rounded corners on you're quilt. It looks so much easier than traditional quilt binding corners. I definitely saved this video so I can go back and watch it again. Thank you for your time in making this video. Looking forward to seeing you more of your videos upcoming.
oh my goodness i love you way of binding im going to try that next time and i have my great grandmother quilt top she did the piecing while having someone thread her needles for her cause she was blind this was in about 1932 to 38 i was trying to think of what to do with the top a jacket just might be the thing thank you so much great job on your quilt i love it
LOVE the rounded corners!!! What is your turnaround for longarm services and pricing? I have several tops that need to be finished and I will be using the rounded corners on them! As always, I love your videos and walk away with a smile and a bit of new knowledge! Have a wonderful weekend. Happy Quilting.
We charge 2 cents per square inch so multiply the length times the width and multiply that number by .02. You can bring your own batting and backing or we have that in the shop too. I try to keep it at a month or less turn around time.
Do you know if she used a pattern to make the jacket? I have several quilts that were in my husband’s family that I have been thinking of making into a jacket. Also, what pattern did you use for the quilt you bound in the video.
Not sure about the pattern for the jacket. Maybe she will answer that. As for the pattern of the quilt, I don’t even remember. I made that quilt years ago and for some reason never binded it!! I’m not sure why!
She said it had spots that couldn’t be fixed and wanted to use it so she cut it. It turned out gorgeous but but I understand the not being able to cut them. Sandy makes everything gorgeous though! 😁

Love doing rounded cornerd
Me too! I love the look of them.
I enjoyed learning about rounding corners on a quilt. Could you please tell me the pattern used for the rounded corner quilt?
It’s one I made well over 10 years ago just never binded it for some reason.
Wow!
Does the binding need to be bias (binding) for the rounded corners?
I did not cut it on the bias.
@@sewcharmingquiltshop perfect!!!! Thank you!!!!
Oh. My. Word! 🎉
Was the quilt just a random scrap or pattern?
Probably so. I made it years ago and just didn’t mind it for some reason.
I'm not sure if anyone else has asked - what does TQC stand for?
The Quilting Corner. The name of the Saturday morning videos we post. 😁
Beautiful, love the curves.
