That's great! I love farm stands! Buy fresh local food without government interference! Also, you can sell some of your scrap wood in bundles, so the yuppies can burn it in their fire pits !
We gave our son a machete when he was around 6 years old. Never hurt himself and had lots of fun. He is 30 and still has his first machete. You are my favorite TH-camr. Keep this and don't go big time. It ruins so many of those who do. The locking pliers guy for one.
I’ve found as I age that imperfection is perfection. I used to strive to make things I did as nice as possible only to wince when it would get scuffed or damaged by use. Nowadays I have set my standards lower and while it’s not perfect, it’s good enough and if something happens to it I don’t even care. It’s probably the most freeing feeling in the world!
Awesome job on the trailer. Definitely some great parenting advice too. Love your sense of humor. Keep up the good work sir. - Florida man in Appalachia
I remember when my daughter was turning 7, and wanted the plastic Fisher Price tool set from Toy's R Us (yeah, I'm that old) because she watched me build stuff with my tools. Well, I couldn't dream of spending $100 on a fancy piece of plastic crap, and they had a nice 3 piece combo set from Milwaukee (drill, grinder, saw) on sale at Home Depot for about $200... Anyways, we both were stoked about her birthday present that year... 🎉😂🎉 Love your humor, and your content brother, keep up the good work. And if you haven't heard it recently, I'm proud of you. 😉
Great job on the trailer build out. A lot of times people get paralyzed with options when they want to start a project and fail to launch. They get stuck on researching the “right”way to do it instead of just starting with some cheap materials and sending it. Good luck on the stand!
Excellent as always good Sir. I concur about the machete topic. My middle son was SOOO thrilled when we went camping one spring and i gave him the machete for “protection” (mostly to keep him occupied and deprogram his brain from xbox). He enjoyed the heck out of it, even after he managed to filet the palm of his hand. In retrospect I probably shouldn’t have sharpened it before we left. God bless you and yours Andy. P.S. I still have the little clip you sent wishing my daughter a happy birthday awhile back. Im proud of it 😊
My parents used to take my sons to their cabin in upstate NY, and they learned to bang the woodpile to chase the snakes out before grabbing the wood, how to split logs, how to saw branches... all the stuff that would have made me, the mom, nervous, but built their confidence hugely, and they all had fun! (Also gave them awesome memories with their grandparents). So if you don't feel right giving your kid a machete, get their grandparents to give it to them!
Hey Andy, I'm a subscriber been watching 4 maybe 5 years I can't remember getting old ya know but I seen a nifty log carrier on tick creek ranch on TH-cam and thought it could give you a couple ideas. I love you man you are more upfront with people who watch you than just about anyone else I've seen, you don't sugarcoat about your past and your videos have helped me through some difficult times. I really hope you see this. I love you and God bless you I'll see you next time
"So rustic I wantvto vomit a pumpkin all over the place " 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I agree with you about the kids. Stick a scythe in his hands and let him cut the weeds or hay or whatever you got. Maybe grow some oats or something. 😊
Andy is a great human being!!!! Great job Andy. You are so lucky that Carlos loves you and the kids love you too. You teach them things for life and have fun! 🎉
Bro, I never comment on anyone’s videos, found you a couple years ago and been watching them all from Facebook when you had that other land. Glad you went to TH-cam again. Just checking in and saying love the videos all the cool stuff you got going on. It’s like the stuff I wish I could do, but can’t, so enjoyable to see someone else enjoying doing the same thing. Thanks.
Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ you my man are doing a fantastic job 👍 from my earliest memories I was wielding implements of destruction 😂 you're a good father a good husband and a fine American Sir ✌️🇺🇲
I agree, I had a machete, a hundred and fifty dollar dirt bike and a power wheel we pulled from the trash to pull my brothers in. I made it to just south of 40 with only 10 broken bones. Wouldn’t have missed a second of it.
4:50... You might have said that before. Phosphoric Acid, Metal prep, Naval Jelly... apply with paint brush, scotch pad or steal wool, all do the job, while some coat more then others depending on where you are.
I will make certain i stop by and buy some produce if i ever find myself up and around Michigan ❤ not sure what the chances of that is but hey...a chance is a chance 😂
Watched this on Fb and just watched it again on YT! Love the channel and I really hope you decide to keep making videos. Ever thought of a podcast? I know it’s even “more” but I think you’d reach - and help - a lot of folks!
I was in the northern part of the mitt a few weeks ago for vacation I thought about stalking you then I remembered I have a life so I decided to do that instead.
Never mind the acid. In University chemistry class we'd wipe up spills of sodium cyanide powder with a damp cloth. So long as you're not an idiot and watch what you're doing chemicals really aren't as dangerous as all that unless you spill a large bulk shipment or some such. I mean, I've had a chemical burn, also scalded myself, burnt myself and nearly cut my finger off with an axe chopping firewood. Anything can be dangerous if you let it.
Love it. I taught my daughter how to use a sharpen and axe. I think her current boyfriend is both impressed and a little afraid
As well he should be, you did well.
@@allanulen3809 my thoughts exactly!
As it should be
You are correct about raising kids..

This was fantastic. What a difference.

This is gold. I feel like you’ve been holding back on your video content till now.
You are a talented man with and without stencils.

Love your style Andy, been following you for some years now. I am now the proprietor of Fox Family Farms on Vancouver Island in the PNW.

Andy, you make me laugh until my eyes water! Thanks for all you do, it inspires so many people!
Amen on raising kids! We need to stop coddling them and giving them electronic babysitters. Nothing like learning by doing.
I’d stop at the stand ! Came out really nice 🌻
I hope that you are doing well, Andy, and getting things sorted out.
“Pig chips and paint crap” kinda works just the same 😆

Love to see despair turn to recovery, then turn to success. Congratulations on your life, Andy.
1966 We had Coast Guard at MCB Camp Lejuene. They are good guys😊

Now, every time i hear the word rustic, the white girly way Andy says it pops up in my head. lol

That’s a good idea. That may be my next project, although you’re starting with a better product than I did.
Nice job looks good from my house brother.
We was doing that in the 60s and the 70s we was not allowed in the house on the weekends until the street lights come on

Same acid that's in most sodas as well!
The more you know
".....reject Communism.." Dude, coffee sprayed out my nose! Never attempt to laugh while drinking coffee
Only Andy risks a ticket worth half the price of a pressure washer to wash a trailer.
And yet, still cheaper than registering it and bringing it up to a legal standard. Lol

I had a machetes as a kid. My buddy almost lost 2 fingers sword fighting. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
Amen Andy
Invest in a wire wheel for your grinder...no more 5 in 1 (scraper).
Put something under the back to keep stable, good luck
❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Andy, I was wondering what type of lawn tractor you head sitting back there in red?
So is that a real life in the wild Billy the
Kid 😳😲😂😂😂
❤❤❤❤
Agreed 👍🏼
Good ole North Carolina measurement
I’ve been waiting on the fridge update since you fixed it up.
I was in the northern part of the mitt a few weeks ago for vacation I thought about stalking you then I remembered I have a life so I decided to do that instead.
