I think just for now get it ready to move the animals, that's a big job and time consuming too. Animals first then the outside of the trailer. So dang proud of you guys, way to go! With both of you working on stuff, there is no job that you can't overcome!! Moving all the animals will take a minute or so too, but you will get it done.
Yes the trailer will help to move the animals, but taking time to repaint it now is time wasted in getting the livestock set up there. You can paint the later.
Way to go..I say if the doors close and the floor will hold them, get new tires on and move them..time is running out for your goats...don't forget you need straw bales and hay bales too..fyi only.proud of you❤
Awesome for the horse trailer!!! It should be SDR paint color! This will be perfect for when you Find the heifers!!! The bottom needs a rubber mat so they don’t fall when transporting!! Perfect for getting over the auto gate & creek ravine too! Keep grinding away, it’s looking good!! Blessings! 💜
Once you replace the flooring, use a stall mat in there. It makes cleanouts easy and protects the floor. My first trailer I bought was a single step up. Did the same thing of grinding the exterior's rusted paint off. Used a spray paint for metal ( It took a lot of cans!) Horse/ stock trailers are worth their weight in gold! Not only to haul animals but hay, feed and a ton of other stuff too! Looks good Jason!
You always come up with new ways to impress me, that's totally incredibly awesome!!! You are an inspiration 💖🤩, I think I need to find one of these trailers and try this, my husband passed away a bit over a year ago and I started using his tools, I've found love in his tools and have started working on things I never thought possible, I want to be the very best version of myself also. I'm so very proud of all you do.
great idea again it show there is always alot to do with big land and animals. I love to see a bit of all so keep pushing . If anyone forget Jason and Danielle did said great things are coming for 2023 . So he doing them . Stay strong later bro . 💪
Good job on your horse trailer l would get the tires on the trailer and take the animals over to new barn 🐐 goats mama's to be first. I would put so mama's to be first get used to the new place kidd animals like privates. Is the pigs 🐖 done?
My opinion. The trailer should be same color as the barn. Don’t forget to put the SDR sign on the front! That is probably rust prevent paint (the reddish stuff) inside. It’s looking good!
Jason, don't forget to apply a coat of rust reformer primer before you paint it. It's looking so much better than before! Could you do all of that after you move the animals, though?
I wonder if the animals requested this done before they get in it for the long trip!? Just another project for Jason instead of the tiny house, finishing up the barn, etc. but it’s his life. And his ranch.
Wow what a great investment for the long term.😊 That is what you guy's need to move what you have, and what ever more animals you decide to bring your ranch. Great job.
I would say, get the tires first, making it operable to move to a covered area for further work and less rusting. If it is moveable you can move the animals before you have it finished, making sure the floor is weight bearing. Does your barn have a drive-in area? I have a two stall, removable center panel, horse trailer much like that one. They can be used for so many things.
There are paint/ rust stripping discs to go on an angle grinder…. Usually purple or blue. They work great for what you were doing and are faster than a flap disc.
Jason, I loved this video. Watching you sand away was satisfying. And it is going to look really nice. YOU KNOW.... FOR the CATTLE that you have to move and the GOATS and HAY and supplies. Also, you are obviously going to have to make a few trips to the vet or TRANSPORT animals into town or to another farm. Also have to cross the little grate bridge on the property. YES Sir you are thinking of EVERYTHING. Thank you Jason for caring about all the animals and doing what YOU think is best.🥰❤️
Paint it a light color so it isn't hot on the inside with your logo on it. But you should get it movable for the goats, because it won't be long before the babies come.
Very cool!!! Our oldest boy did a wet blasting on a tailgate to try out cuz he was just watching videos on TH-cam!! So he did the wet blasting thru out pressure washer!!!
Shootdang its gonna be awesome!! I can see it now , painted the same color as the barn with the Shootdang logo on the front and on the sides. You're doing great Jason!!! Keep on keepin on ✌️ ❣️ ✨️
If it was me I'd get the rest of the stalls, and the rest of the dry pour done in the barn. Get the trailer in the best working order where you can transport the animals if need be for the time needed. Then after all that, focus on making that trailer look stunning. I think it should fit theme color for ShootDang Ranch, with the logo on the side.
Jason, you should check out the sand blaster attachment for a power washer. I have one that works great. Especially for trailer projects. Cuts the time in half.
So much work! (Reminds me of all the sanding I did through the winter) But it looks great! This trailer will definitely come in handy for many things. Nice work
Im not telling you what to do. But I use a primer and rust converter as i work with metal. Keeps ot from flashing and keeps track of how much you do. Great video
I’m so excited that u got a trailer!!! I would make sure that the barn is 100% ready for all animals to be put in and then I would make sure that the trailer has a good floor and the tires hold air and the trailer can be moved!! Then I would move the animals!!! That’s just my opinion u do what u know what works for u since u live there and what’s all still needed if it’s to wet or whatever then u do the stages it needs to go in.. If u want to paint the trailer I think u should paint it the same as the big shop/ shed and have your shoot dang ranch logo on the front of the trailer or even on both sides of it that would work too!!
Well, prime and paint- grey When you get done that is going to be a great investment for if you ever need to take any of the animals to the vet you can use that! I can’t wait to see how Lambeau reacts to being in it! Reminds me of my first horse trailer way back.
I had to come back to to this video, I would go with a blue as your next color you can add black accents. animals tend not to like dark colors seems claustrophobic❤ rust oleum makes a tractor paint don't know if they make blue but that's the heavy duty paint. I would put on my trailer when I repaint mine.
I'm happy you got the trailer to move the animals. Get floor and doors fixed and then wheels, if there is time then make it pretty . My thoughts, but you are the one who knows what is best for your animals and you.❤🐘🙏🙌🤟🕊🙂✌️💐👍🌹🖖😎🍨👋
I also think that's the best thing to do. The goats can get used to their new space and recover a bit from the move, before the get in labor. It is an awesome trailer, by the way ☺️
Color same as every thing else Jason I saw this in one of your older videos to me you are a perfectionist you want it done right not eny thing about you because you want it done right and you are doing amazing 🤩 job but one little thing the babies might come before the trailer is fixed but Jason you got this love 💞🤗😘💞🤗😘 from Ohio Irene and my god bless you
Awesome job. Paint it the shootdang ranch colour. Maybe add the SDR logo to it. Move the animals when the barn is ready for them. Great job . Love it xox ❤❤
I got one similar to yours.. it was beyond repair really... so it became a isolation room.. I blasted it with a power washer after putting paint stripper on it. Hit it with rust converter and then direct to metal paint. Red outside white inside. 3/4 plywood floor with linoleum rubber Mat if needed... works for brooder or sick unit or new animal isolation or sick.. I keep needed supplies up front
Definitely for now I would just get it ready enough to move the animals and then go back and complete it but I think it would look sharp with it being black. Pretty much to match the rest of the property structures and put SDR on the side.
Sand old son, I don’t envy the work that you put into that old horse (stock) trailer. Once it’s all painted with Shoot Dang Ranch colors it going to look sweet. As always stay safe, stay healthy and keep your powder dry 🤙🤙😎🤙🤙
I think u should move the female goats first. The floor will most likely hold for them later u can move Lambo.goats will need lots of hay if u put them in the stall with concrete! Or some rubber mats! Good job looking after the animals!
Having used a trailer just like this most often I can tell you, it’s an oven on wheels! White might just save a critters life. Floors are usually 2 by 10 planks. It’s the steel brackets that fail. Ventilation is inadequate so if you need to enlarge openings. In winter drafts can kill so opening’s must seal up. Looking good get R done son !
The floor is the most important part of the trailer! Without a secure floor, you won't be able to move any animals. First the floor, then frame and axles before you worry about the paint.
I believe I would get a coat of rust primer on it, so it will not rust until you’re able to paint. But since you’re in a time crunch, I believe I would get it primed and repaired enough to haul are your animals.
That's a great idea rather than trying to move them the way you were thinking you should paint it a lite color because of putting animals in it but put SDR on the front in black. 😊✌🏻
Get it functional first, then finish the paint and detail work. Can't wait to see the results.
I think just for now get it ready to move the animals, that's a big job and time consuming too. Animals first then the outside of the trailer. So dang proud of you guys, way to go! With both of you working on stuff, there is no job that you can't overcome!!

I also agree n go with color of car
Yes the trailer will help to move the animals, but taking time to repaint it now is time wasted in getting the livestock set up there. You can paint the later.
CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 Jason & Danielle on your new baby goats!!
I'm so happy, can't wait to see them.
My boys had a trailer like that in the 80's.
Way to go..I say if the doors close and the floor will hold them, get new tires on and move them..time is running out for your goats...don't forget you need straw bales and hay bales too..fyi only.proud of you❤
That would be too easy lol
My goodness, I have seen much of what you are capable of. I sure wouldn't underestimate you! Can't wait to see what you do
Preach, that sermon mid way.........come on' now!!!! hallelujah
That's gonna look great once you finish it. I think you should paint it the same color as your other buildings and put the SDR logo on it. 😉
Blessings! 💜

You are doing a fantastic job on refurbishing the stock trailer. It will look great!
great idea again it show there is always alot to do with big land and animals. I love to see a bit of all so keep pushing . If anyone forget Jason and Danielle did said great things are coming for 2023 . So he doing them . Stay strong later bro . 💪

I really would like to see the roof put back on the tiny house
How u know it’s not already back on ?
@Kathleen how would the roof benefit the animals? Jason is preparing to get the animals moved for their safety. He's got his priorities in order
My opinion. The trailer should be same color as the barn. Don’t forget to put the SDR sign on the front! That is probably rust prevent paint (the reddish stuff) inside. It’s looking good!

@@virginiacurrey2019 thats a bit bitchy ? why ?
I think the color should match your logo on the water tank/ animal shelter.
@virginiacurrey2019 correct, my life my ranch! But how would you like us to move a cow and pigs to the barn?
Here we again another unfinished project like the neighbor in Texas said he has never finished project he started
Wow what a great investment for the long term.😊 That is what you guy's need to move what you have, and what ever more animals you decide to bring your ranch. Great job.
SDR colors with the logo somewhere!!! Love the positivity, your killin it bro!!! AWESOME!!!!!
I would say, get the tires first, making it operable to move to a covered area for further work and less rusting. Good job Jason. This trailer will come in handy for many uses. ❤
Looks just like the trailers I saw everywhere growing up in Nebraska and Colorado!❤ love it!
There are paint/ rust stripping discs to go on an angle grinder…. Usually purple or blue. They work great for what you were doing and are faster than a flap disc.

Make it safe and move them. They don’t care what color it is.🤪🤣
Jason, I like how you edited this video. Can't wait to see the project finished.
Paint it a light color so it isn't hot on the inside with your logo on it. But you should get it movable for the goats, because it won't be long before the babies come.
Clearcoat clean metal for finish. If you MUST paint it, ShootDang black with white roof. And a SDR decal each side.😄👍
Keep on keepin on ✌️ ❣️ ✨️
I love it! If anyone can restore it, you can Jason!
But he won’t finish it.
If it was me I'd get the rest of the stalls, and the rest of the dry pour done in the barn. Get the trailer in the best working order where you can transport the animals if need be for the time needed. Then after all that, focus on making that trailer look stunning. Yeah, Jason Thanks for showing us this new old Project too New Again That's awesome ❤❤❤❤
Don't miss primer. And use a fresh color on top with a warmy one on The sides. Gretings from México.
Jason, you should check out the sand blaster attachment for a power washer. I have one that works great. Especially for trailer projects. Cuts the time in half.
Nice Jason , that’s going to come in so handy around the ranch plus the animal trade places you all go .
So much work! (Reminds me of all the sanding I did through the winter) But it looks great! This trailer will definitely come in handy for many things. Nice work
I just bought one in similar condition, well it was , I'm converting into a small camper with all the emmineties, except a toilet,
Cool that you want to redo that old trailer.
🎉Looking awesome. You do what is best for your ranch. Thanks for sharing your's and Danielle's life .
Barn is awesome and so will the trailer in time💙
Good job Jason 😁👍
So glad you found a stock trailer
I put outdoor plywood on the floor and covered it with horse mats
It's awesome you got a livestock trailer and I would paint it the SDR colors and put the logo on it
Im not telling you what to do. But I use a primer and rust converter as i work with metal. Keeps ot from flashing and keeps track of how much you do. Great video
Logo would look cool but you may not want anyone following you home and seeing where you live. Just a thought. Can't wait for baby goats! 🐐
Good job! Nice to be out of the mud!
I’m so excited that u got a trailer!!! I would make sure that the barn is 100% ready for all animals to be put in and then I would make sure that the trailer has a good floor and the tires hold air and the trailer can be moved!! I agree with other comments. Make it safe enough to more the animals THE. worry bout the restoration.
Gotta match the SDR colors!! And a big SDR logo. Awesomeness!
Well, prime and paint- grey
When you get done that is going to be a great investment for if you ever need to take any of the animals to the vet you can use that!
I can’t wait to see how Lambeau reacts to being in it!
Reminds me of my first horse trailer way back.
Absolutely awesome great job love you
Jason is just a hardworking guy.. danielle is just so blessed to have jason in her life, same with jason too..
Definitely get the animals moved first. Get the wheels and tires and floor fixed for a safe move. They won’t care what color it is 😂
That looks like a Miley trailer from the '60's. I had one in the mid '70's. Good trailers.
Yes paint the same color as your Barn. I love it. I have been looking for one. Oh I wish I could find one for 200.dollars. Thanks for sharing this, ❤❤
Wow you have been a very busy man!! I’m positive it will look amazing!!
I had to come back to to this video, I would go with a blue as your next color you can add black accents. animals tend not to like dark colors seems claustrophobic❤
rust oleum makes a tractor paint don't know if they make blue but that's the heavy duty paint. I would put on my trailer when I repaint mine.

I LOVE WHAT YOU GUYS ARE DOING FOR YOUR ANIMALS KEEP IT UP
Jason your trailer looks good. Paint it the same colors like everything else.
I love this video - great what you are doing - keep it going - Marty Albuquerque
Can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with it.
I’d say, put new tires on it, if the floor will make a trip or two, load up and move them all, and continue on with the project👊🏻✌🏻🙌🏻
I also think that's the best thing to do. The goats can get used to their new space and recover a bit from the move, before the get in labor. It is an awesome trailer, by the way ☺️
Put the tires on it and Move the animals
I'd love to see part 2
Color same as every thing else Jason I saw this in one of your older videos to me you are a perfectionist you want it done right not eny thing about you because you want it done right and you are doing amazing 🤩 job but one little thing the babies might come before the trailer is fixed but Jason you got this love 💞🤗😘💞🤗😘 from Ohio Irene and my god bless you
Awesome job. Paint it the shootdang ranch colour. Maybe add the SDR logo to it.
Move the animals when the barn is ready for them. Great job . Love it xox ❤❤
Great Job!!!! 🤗♥️🙏🏼
Great job, Jason as always. It will be beaitiful in silver if you paint it. Id put a new floor on the trailor .
I got one similar to yours.. it was beyond repair really... so it became a isolation room.. I blasted it with a power washer after putting paint stripper on it. Great video mate !

😂 paint the britest yellow you can find so as not to lose it on property 😆
Sand old son, I don’t envy the work that you put into that old horse (stock) trailer. Once it’s all painted with Shoot Dang Ranch colors it going to look sweet. As always stay safe, stay healthy and keep your powder dry 🤙🤙😎🤙🤙
I think it’s going to look amazing when you get done. It is what’s on the inside…my Daddy told me when I was growing up that looks fade.😊❤
I think you did good on the trailer it will do what you want just make sure you check the wheel bearings
Jason see if you have a dust mask, probably lead base paint on the old trailer.
I am really glad your dad is doing good after his accident
I'm thinking that you may need to prime your trailer because after grinding it, that bare metal is exposed to the elements.
Hi Jason amazing job 👍
Good job so far. I really think the same color as the shop will look very nice. Love you and Danielle💕💕
Put penetraring oil on the hinges sparingly. Then use carb cleaner to remove the oil. Oil hinges to keep them from sticking.
The trailer will look great once you finish it. Hopefully you can make it in time before the baby goats are born. 💛🍀💛
This was a very satisfying video to watch! thank you!
I think u should move the female goats first. The floor will most likely hold for them later u can move Lambo.goats will need lots of hay if u put them in the stall with concrete! Or some rubber mats! Good job looking after the animals!
You know what color to paint it man. Dark charcoal like the buildings with the white SDR logo of course! 😄
Jason definitely paint it a light color I believe the shop color would turn it into a oven
I can see it painted up with SDR colors.
I love ❤the live stock Horse 🐴Trailers 🐴🐴🐴🐷🐔🦌🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
Hello Jason shootdang I’m super pumped big time
Freaking awesome video...loved the voice over..
Good morning ☕ Jason and Danielle
Good job it’s going to be pretty when you finish it. Do it your way pay no attention to the criticism. Blessings from Mississippi
Fix the floor, get tires, could have did a paint job afterwards. Hope you get them moved in time and barn is ready.good luck
The sand blaster you both was for BABY to play whit rent the big one more power cheers
Neutral Paint ... Holy Moly what rustang! Recycling at its best 😂😂... Ps don't listen to negative peeps !
