Iwanted to pass on a "tip"....I bought an older home and had some "crack gaps" from previous floor repair. The carpenter I hired, mixed clear wood glue with wood sawdust and "filled in gaps...it looks great!

I guess the tube does, but I didn't find it to be a problem. I thought it would get more in the way, but it seemed fine! And omg....those floors, Mike. They've been sitting there all buckled for a few years, and hubby seemed to think he could just bang them back into place. I'm like, "NOOO" because the boards were warped. And I literally had forgotten that the previous homeowners left a sweet little stash of replacement pieces. Whew! Was like Christmas Day when I found them. HAHA
Great job, Serena! Always go with colors that make you happy. Doing all that work should end with a result that makes you smile and brings joy. While others can certainly have input you need to trust your great vision and style so many of us tune in to see.

Yessss, Jessica! I would say it does look like a pale gray, but also has some lavender undertone that you can't see until it's next to bright white. And that's right--go for the colors YOU want and not what someone tells you to do! :) No one liked my pink accent wall. But I just love the feeling of it! :) Thank you!!!
Yes please, do an outlet replacement video! This refresh is so much brighter, and the former yellow undertone was making it dingy feeling. Great job on flooring fix. I paint A LOT and think the wagner tool would be too much clean up work, but I could see it saving time on a big job. Add a gray and turquoise pillow on the sofa to tie it together. Love your videos!
The paint vacuum is a genius hack! I wish I had that tool when painting a 16' x 9' wall for the first time last month! Yes please for a wall socket receptacle tutorial!

i love the pink you chose. reminds me of a more muted version of the pink in the house my parents bought in the 1980's. It feels 80's but updated to today's sensibilities.

Pink looks beautiful. I once painted an accent wall Whataburger Orange, if you aren’t familiar with that shade of Orange, it’s about the color of the orange dot with my initial in it at the start of my comment. It was a huge mistake, although it was the exact color of some of my paisley sofa fabric. I eventually painted over it a few months later, and I painted it black! Yes, black! And it worked, and here is why, that wall was pretty heavily textured, so after I painted it and then had floor to ceiling and wall to wall bookcases made, the black made the wall look like slate. It was truly beautiful.
The pink wall is so delicate I love it . A nice console table would look really nice on that wall so when you walk in you can leave your keys and phones on it
I love the new makeover! that turned out nice! the pink is light enough, seashell-style, as to not be in your face. The turquoise door will fit after touchup.
A couple of green plants and that pink will be the back drop for a stunning room! Nice changes! I used City Loft upstairs in a bedroom and two baths-it is a great shade.

The room looks so much lighter and so pretty. And as someone who just finished painting 3 rooms, I sure wish I had investigated and invested in the Wagner Side Kick. The amount of time I spent cleaning up paint drips would sure have made it a wise investment. I’ll have to check it out as I still have 3 more rooms to do! I love how painting walls totally transforms a room! Thanks so very much for the great tutorial.
Yessss, Kathy! I really did love the Sidekick and that was the biggest thing I noticed is that I didn't have any paint drips from reloading. I notice with reloading that a lot of the drips are from the paint getting on the side of the roller cover and getting everywhere. But with the Sidekick, that didn't happen. The only thing is to be careful when you're changing the paint can. When you pull the tube out, wipe that off carefully. You might get some paint flecks there. But not while rolling! :) Good luck on the rest of your rooms!
That Wagner side kick thing is a pretty cool tool. Looks pretty easy to clean too. I also really relate to the Tom boy who can appreciate some girly stuff. Thanks for sharing!!
Hi Serena! It has been a while since I have watched you tube because I had been caring for my 90 year old mother. She died last month on Feb 14th so it has been a sad time for my family. I started doing some changes to different parts of my home because before my mother died, last year when we were in quarantine, my mother, my brother Richard and i changed some things around her house and that was my inspiration.
