Hakima was nervous about doing the bathroom. After this transformation she’s ready to do the rest of her house. 😂😂. Awesome job!!
You hit the nail on the head! 😂 She was so pumped up! In fact, we are in the middle of her bedroom makeover as we speak! I was over there yesterday to help with painting the baseboards and doors.

Yes, please check it out! I have done my own shower with BathWorks because it was turquoise fiberglass from the 70s. Works well!!

I have been watching SO many home decor and DIY renovation videos for the past year while I'm in the middle of a complete house reno myself, so I am just FLOORED by the fact that TH-cam only just now showing me your channel! Honestly, I'm a little mad but I'm SO GLAD this was finally recommended!! I love that you actually use the products from your sponsors - I see so many people just do a demo with them and it feels like they don't trust the product enough to use it for their own home but they'll take the money. I'm super interested in trying Bathworks for my 1940's cast iron tub... It was expensively refinished a while ago but it just didn't really last well. I'll check out the Bathworks stuff. Looks like the spray will make it a lot faster to do than brushing.

Looks great. You can buy replacement caps or covers for the toilet screws (the screws that attach it to the floor). I saw you didn't have those. I could see the screws. 👍

Thanks! I love that it was such a collaboration between her and I! At the beginning, she didn't feel she was a creative person. But I saw so much creativity in her ideas. She just didn't know it. But she was so much more confident afterwards, and inspired to take on the rest of her house!

Who knew, right?!? This was my first time refinishing a tile floor, as well! BathWorks is amazing stuff! And the fact that you can match it with many Sherwin Williams colors, makes the possibilities feel endless.

That looks amazing Serena! The floor finish is especially amazing. Our basement was painted a similar green when we bought our house and was dubbed “The Green Room”. It is our eldest son’s music/band room but now rocks a much more moody shade of deep green.

How did get out of the bathroom when did the floors 😆. Normally you would start from the back wall and work way to the door so get out.

That's builder grade 1960s wall and floor tile. I have almost the exact same in my house from 1968.

You'd be surprised. The plumber was I think $800, paint, wood, baseboards, materials/supplies, light, baskets, stain, etc. It adds up!
