I do love how _Archer_ was able to evolve as a series with the times. Much to the disappointment of the people that actually look at the character of Sterling Malory Archer as some kind of role model, thus completely missing the point, lol
The show realized they had to do something about the organization's name, for obvious reasons. What they came up with was a piece of comic genius in the Season 5 Premiere Episode that instantly became a classic and one of the all-time greatest episodes in the show's history.
Yeah... this show started a few years before the other ISIS popped up. The show re-named the spy company somewhere around the 4th or 5th season or something.
So the name ISIS was before the real world one. Strangely the year after the real one became a thing, the show changed to a different format. (A coincidence I am sure...)
Hope u guys like this, it’s got very quick and subtle humor, I honestly didn’t think it was that funny for a while but going back I spot so much more, the dialogue writing is super quick and smart, similar to wrested development, I believe it the same creator aswell
Like most shows, once you get into it a little bit it gets funnier and better quality. IMO its not the funniest show like sunny or family guy, but its very entertaining
This show is epic, One of my faves. I'm new to the channel so idk your schedule. But its been 2 weeks since this upload. I'm guessing this was a one and done?

Archer's agency was called ISIS before the other ISIS became well known. They changed the agency name later in the series because of that.

The show gets better as it goes, and the dynamic changes a lot from what it started off as.

Saw the title and thought “You 2 though the raptor cut was the OG pilot?” but no, you just got the title wrong, it’s Mole Hunt.
They don't use Isis in this show in later episodes because of obvious real world political issues.
