archer is one of those shows that is intense but hilarious if you have tougher skin. the first 6 seasons are solid, it gets weird but i still love it. excited to see you guys watch it!

I remember seeing ads on tv for the Archer premiere and i was intrigued by the art style. So i was waiting for it to air for months. When watched the live premiere it was so hilarious that i never missed an episode. My sister saw me watching it and made fun of me for watching cartoons as a teenager but when she heard the disgustig crude dialogue she thought it was hilarious too
Just found y'alls channel recently and LOVE this show, so I'm working my way through the backlog, and you guys are great. Still learning names, but shoutout to redshirt on stage left with the excellent comic timing on "the opposite of everything I am, yeah" 😂😂 Looking forward to the rest.
First time I saw this show, I remember feeling like Archer's voice didn't fit because I was so use to hearing H. Jon Benjamin as Coach Mcguirk from Home Movies. But by the third episode, Archer became who I see when I think of HJB's voice.
Archer takes place during the clld war and thats about all thats confirmed time wise. All those one liners that just got a strong breath out the nose from u guys in this episode will turn into some of the funniest shit if you go back and watch this epidode after a few seasons too.
They are intentionally keeping the time period vague and pick whatever works for a story in a mish-mash setting - they use modern cellphones, but have reel to reel mainframes and early gen CRT monitors in the office, in another episode you may see an F1 race with cars from the 60/70s, later on there's cutting edge high tech stuff.

Your kid is 15, and I'm pretty sure this is nothing really to him. So if he thinks the show is funny the show let him watch it, some animated boobs is very vanilla. As long as he does not start calling +size ppl "manatee" he's fine :)
