Archer is fantastic.
OMG, I am so happy you are reacting to Archer. It is without a doubt one of the greatest animated shows ever made. Both with its writing and it’s hugely distinctive one-of-a-kind animation style that I haven’t seen a single other series to this date use. Also the animation only gets more refined as the story goes on which is awesome. It really starts the story of well and trust me it just gets more crazy from here. It is quite episodic but it is also a massively overarching interconnected story that is both complex but also easy to follow. Enjoy 😁👌🏼
I am really enjoying it so far. I love Lana, Pam and Cheryl as characters. Archer still irks me lol

The only other show I have seen the same animation style is Frisky Dingo. I remember it being on Adult Swim back in the day. I don't remember much about it but I know Ray's VA Adam Reed is in it and he also created Archer and VAed, wrote, directed, and produced Sealab 2021 and Frisky Dingo respectively. Sealab had similar animation albeit much less refined as Archer and Frisky Dingo.
Rest in peace, Jessica Walter. You will truly be missed, absolutely legend!
As good as this show starts off, it gets so much better as it goes on. There's really some great character development.

The characters in this show were modeled from real people. I remember reading an article where someone bumped into Archer's model and was disappointed he sounded nothing like the character 😂

This show is behind most of the times that I've had to hold down giggles at inappropriate moments. Thankfully I'm not religious because that would be happening to me in church like every single time I went. Funny, random things just pop into my head uninvited sometimes and the fact that it's the wrong time to snicker just makes it funnier somehow. I had to hold that down during a freaking funeral one time. It was the worst. I knew that if anyone noticed me trying not to laugh they'd think I was insane, plus if I had to explain myself I'd have to admit that my mind was on a tv show during a funeral. I've got really bad A.D.D. and I don't take life very seriously. That's a dangerous combination sometimes.

It's a wonderfully chaotic show that actually has follow through, long term plots, and excellent humor. Sterling started at the bottom as an ass, and he can only go up from there.

The first episode feels so weird when you watched the show for a while. They stop shooting characters walking towards the camera after a while, so every time it happens it’s uncanny as hell
